It's not even Bahamut though from what I heard. Just some avatar of him considering how small he is. A whole dungeon section takes place with you standing on his claw at one point.

YOU BETTER BE sorry, got nerdy :< Final Fantasy games aren't related to each other anyway, so it's not like you need to know them all. FF 14 just happens to borrow elements from other games. Like the human empire just HAPPENS to look like the Gestahlian Empire (in ff 14 it's called the Garlean empire), and many other various elements. Point is, Bahaumut is MASSIVE in that game.

I don't see the problem, if the factions are very lacking, than yeah it'll suck, but it IS Bethesda we're talking about so I'm sure it'll be packed.

I'm going to be pretty pissed if they go the Fallout 3 route and make them a hostile group that you don't have the option to join. Tbh if they're going to do that just don't even put them in the game.
In every game the Enclave are in, they are evil. In Fallout 2 they wanted to gas the planet and kill anyone slightly irradiated, so the population would basically go extinct. There is literally no redeeming factor about them other than the remnants who are old enough to know the mistakes they did.

For my character it's not the ears, it's the fact I managed to take a meh race and actually make her look pretty. I've only seen like 3 good looking elves in that game for all the hours I've sunken into it. For elves in general, I think it's the whole "haughty" attitude they have.
