Also the people proposing flat tax I highly doubt are proposing a truly flat tax. I don't think anyone reasonably does. Its more like a two tier tax system and its just conventient to call it a flat tax. Countries like Estonia and Russia have had aa fair amount of success using a flat tax

I just have it thrown in my face a lot. When you get serious, it seems this is the only serious issue you talk about  . And you talk about it a lot. But I just couldn't care less about these social issues and try to avoid them like the plague (until they get brought up in my face again by others (not saying just you)).
