What's wrong guys?

Aren't you happy?

THIS IS WHAT YOU WANTED ISN'T IT?!
It was too good to be true. Oh well, I've experienced all of the magic I can from FF 7. No remake could really re-capture the magic of when I first beat it.

Plus PC mods easily upgraded the look and music for me, so it was even better when doing it again.

Wait, people actually give a shit about American soccer? I was under the impression that Americans don't give a shit about soccer unless it's World Cup.
Some people do.

The problem is it doesn't get much coverage on things like ESPN (Fox Sports is smart for focusing on it), but they just got a new TV deal too It's slowly increasing in terms of TV. It has a higher average attendance than the NBA over here. It's mainly our generation that's fueling it.

Verby

You can play offline when you do your run, so you don't get invaded by people (even though the servers are probably dead at this point).

They allow you to do that in case you don't like exactly what you're complaining about. Just something to consider when you decide to give it a go. I'd recommend that. You don't lose anything at all, and can still summon NPC's for co-op parts of it.

I remember having the same opinion as Verb in my first hour, but now it remains as one of my favourite games of all time.

Spoiler
Though Bloodborne was more fluid and had arguably better lore, bosses and matchmaking.
Bloodbornes PvP was absolutely shit. It is not as engaging as Dark Souls 2, because all you do is jump all over the place and spam your blood vials. You don't even get punished for that.

It's bad. PvE vs monsters is good, but not PvP or fighting other hunters in PvE.

Besides, everyone forgot about that game after the first 3 months.

Edit: Actually, it doesn't help every single Souls game ever has servers developed by monkeys. The latency of BB is what helps kill it. You'll get blood/hit sound effects in it and the player will jump away just fine. It's annoying.

No but seriously

How the hell do you fuck this up, this thing was supposed to be a no brainer project.
It's Square Enix. They haven't done a successful single player Final Fantasy since 10, and that was before they fired everyone and merged together.

12 was okay, but yeah. Proves what the wrong minds can do.

Third goal

MLS everyone
Honestly

this final was sloppy (the referees most all) but it was still exciting. The conference championship games before them were way more intense.
Second goal technically shouldn't been counted since the ball left the pitch on the sideline. I guess it's deserved given all the fuckin diving Columbus were doing.
The refs in general just annoyed me. Like, on the field refs I have my gripes with, but sideline referees in the MLS are HORRRRRRRRIBLE. They need to be held accountable.

I almost teared up when I saw them all celebrating. I put way too much investment in this team and was so put off by all the shitty things that've happened.

But man it feels so good when they won it all. My heart couldn't stop pounding.

Daily reminder that New Vegas is still the best Fallout game.
Ehhhh

I can't help but think Fallout 2 is the best one for me. But it's the annoying case of me loving them all. It's just which ones I love less.

As much as I bash Fallout 4, it's still better than most games on the market for me.

The Flood / Re: It is the 15th century

You would need a lot of luck in order for that to happen, in that era there are a lot of village idiots that will believe anything the king tells them.
That's the problem. Too many variables can happen to really guarantee anything. I'd say without a stable core of people already around you, be it a captain or two, or some general, you wouldn't have much luck. You need some show of force.

This sounds like it has more RPG elements to it than Fallout

I would try to escape at the very least and go to someone I can trust to try and help smuggle me out. Then I'd have to try and formulate a plan to try and clear my name and try to take my place as rightful ruler of said Kingdom (odds are England).

A few rules to know is that you can't trust any authority figure. Maybe insanely trusted people your parents knew. Someone who looked after you. If you could somehow do that AND let people know what is happening, you could possibly raise an army to take the throne. You'd be the rightful ruler, though that depends on your charisma as a leader. Your uncle wouldn't simply just kick the bucket and get out. There would be a civil war no doubt.

That is, IF I could escape.

I'm actually basing this on A night in Terror Tower, just minus the wizard to make it a real senerio.

Interesting answer, I don't know how I would be able to raise an army against the king, in those days trust was hardly a thing, human nature was much worse back then compared to now.
My only solution would be to prove to people you can make things better. The King is closed off from society, all tidy in his castle. Why would he ever bother with simple commoner such as these you surround yourself by? He doesn't understand their struggles, their angers. You on the other hand have been on the run, and have honestly been humbled by it all. You feel it is your right to take the throne not just because it's in your blood, but because you have a member of your family in power who betrayed you and cares about nothing more than to rule with greed.

Rally people, present them your case, hopefully you have that one faithful companion from the start.

BASICALLY, you're trying to pull a Dragon Age Origins and get people to fight for you. The task is incredibly daunting, but if they see the alternative is better than the status quo, they may just be inclined to help you.

A little dose of kindness back then could earn you many a thing.

That sounds like some Fate/Stay Night writing

You mean a high schoolers translation of F/SN writing.
If Nasu would understand Steam is a thing and actually put out an official release, he'd see how much it sells.

Oh I have one more

Baccano. It takes place during the American Mafia days and is just the best combination of action, humor, and drama. The intro is so damn catchy too. I'd recommend it dubbed for the full accent effect. Gives it a nice zing.

I hope verb enjoys his economics 101.
I was thinking that too. But I thought it was a huge change of pace from the normal crazy sword battles (fate comes to mind) that one usually thinks of with anime.
