It's pretty much the same thing.
Challenger, dear. Darling. Muffin. Love. It's okay to make a fucking mistake. There is nothing wrong with going "Oh okay, I didn't know that".
Because both are acceptable.
Take your condescension elsewhere.
The only person saying they're the same is you and no one else. Even when presented with facts you go "...Oh, well they're still basically the same." It's like you think being wrong somehow equates you to being a piece of shit human being who's lost all relevancy. I'd tell you to stop being a brick wall but that's like telling a racist to stop being racist.

>Japs get locked in internment camps and no one bats an eye
Where do people keep getting this idea?
That and it's not the 1940's. That shit isn't even relevant now. That's like saying blacks were segregated and no one batted an eye, or they got lynched and no one cared. That's not fucking true at all. Human rights in general back then to now isn't even close anyway, so why are we even comparing the two? Compare it to something modern day if you want to make a point, but don't go digging in a time where blacks were still seen as a lesser race or something.

This is probably the only thing I really disagree about with him and the vaccinations causing autism thing, because both are fucking dumb, but at least he's an overall better choice than Shillary and Bernie "Free Shit" Sanders.
The comment above your post makes your post all the better

Could be Bioware just isn't very good at writing and relies too much on generic character tropes.

They do teach this in school.
I'd expect someone who's always talking big shit to know about the Crusades and the Templars. I mean fucking wow.
You shouldn't shit on someone who's legitimately coming in asking for knowledge. You come off just like Verb, only far more aggressive and arrogant. Rather than berate him, why not educate him instead? It'd say a lot more about your character.

what if we made conversion to Christianity a requirement for admission to countries that have national churches, like most of the Lutheran countries?
What if we reinstated the Catholic church as a theocracy, re-made the Teutonic and Templar orders, and purged the middle east of all infidels?
The Teutonic Order is still around actually. They're just there to take care of the sick and ill now.

Be that as it may with modern tech, what is the point? Building a wall shows you're scared more than anything. Rather than just shut everyone off, maybe we should look at how tedious our immigration process is, and how bad of a state the country below us is. It's a humanitarian crisis.
Actually, I don't think even most immigrants in now are Mexican. They're from other Latin American countries.

I'm almost expecting him to just "break character" once he gets elected to show that the majority of the voting base are retarded.
Not that I've read up on his actual policies at all, but if it's along the lines of the ones I hear often ("Fuck muslims, build walls"), I can hardly believe he's serious about it, nor that that many people could support it.
I really don't see how building a wall is something you couldn't be serious about.
It's geographically impossible to do what Trump wants to do, given how the land is around the border in a lot of places. And the money it would take to build and maintain this 21st century Great Wall.
Do you have any details on which places would make the wall impossible to build? Wouldn't difficult terrain act as a natural barrier reducing the amount of wall that needs to be built?.Also beyond construction I'm not seeing what would make it so expensive.
The terrain is different all across the border with elevation, cliffs, etc taken into account.
And if it's going to be a wall like Constantinople's golden gates, which is what Trump is saying, then the cost to build that across 1,954 miles, and maintain it, is nothing shy of fantasy and a massive waste of money that could be going someplace else.
But wouldn't cliffs make the wall more defensible? And even then I don't see why the wall would have to be more elaborate than anything Israel has, essentially a concrete fence.
There's a difference in scale from building a concrete fence around the Gaza Strip to seperating the southern US from Mexico.
...about 1,917 miles difference.
(Not mentioning maintenance here either)
That's less than half the length of China's wall. I don't see how this wall is impossible compared to any other wall, or compared to any other American building project - You've already built and maintained Hoover dam so the engineering capabilities exist in America.
Hoover Dam is tiny compared to the wall being proposed, and the Great Wall of China is falling apart, trying to maintain what remains would be a massive challenge, only parts that are huge tourist attractions are even taken care of. I think only a third of the wall is even left.
It's possible to build a wall across the US/Mexican border, but I couldn't imagine the cost. To use the Great Wall of China as an example, the current Great Wall was built over a period of nearly 300 years, cost a ton of lives and is now in disuse and falling apart. What would be the point?
Just looked it up. Took over a thousand years. The one we know is from the 1300's - 1600's by the Ming Dynasty.
Mongols still took over anyway.
I got the 300 years from how long it took to build the current wall as we know and think about today, even though the original wall is over 2000 years old
Oh yeah that's still crazy, and the modern one was built during the Mongol raids and stuff, so yeah. It was pretty much worthless in the end.

China's wall also took multiple dynasties to build and killed millions of people. It wasn't really worth it. Comparing something so ancient to modern times where there is not a force invading you, is rather silly.

So name it something else then. And don't release a trailer that hints to a massive war happening, only for it to be bogged down with fanfic tier romance writing.
I dunno
i'm here to talk about the movies, not the advertising/marketing choices
I know, but setting false expectations for fans and somewhat lying, is some of the most vile shit you can do if you ask me.

I have a feeling episode 7 is so good because it's relying on a lot of fanservice from the original trilogy. Like, that doesn't mean it's bad, but I'm afraid they weren't bold enough to forge their own path on it.
I could be wrong though, but things like "Chewy... we're home!' kinda makes me think it'll do just that.
Wonder if they'll finally give Han the death Harrison Ford's been asking for since the original trilogy
Who knows. Maybe. I'll find out this Friday :>
No spoilers please :<
although its going to be super spoiled by everyone and everything the moment its out
I wouldn't spoil.

I'm just annoyed they fit romance so terribly in a movie about a massive FUCKING WAR!!!! It was really more about Anakin, though. The war is just the setting.

Attack of the Clones, oops. My mistake. Still, there is only one huge battle scene and it's at the end of the movie and only for around 3 minutes at best. The only bad line I thought was in Star Wars 2 was "You are so.... beautiful..." 'It's only because I'm so in love' "No it's because I'm so in love with you!" Listen, I get what Lucas was going for, but if you have to constantly make lines that say "I LOVE YOU!" then you're not doing the writing right. Saying "I love you" over and over again doesn't reinforce you love them that much more. Love is communicated in SOOOOO MANY DIFFERENT WAYS than just saying the fucking 3 letters. You want an example of people falling in love perfectly? Watch Spice and Wolf. By the time the words "I love you" are uttered, it's not even that big of a deal because they've been in love with each other for a long time, but not in that typical "MAKE A MOVE ALREADY" crap you're so used to seeing. Another example? This. The scene was going so well, and then 1:30 happened. See, the thing with Yoda is this. He's an old Jedi. Super old. One of the oldest. He's wise, he's the leader, they look to him for guidance. He's a POWERFUL FUCKING JEDI who's done powerful things in his time, and he's done so much and lived so long, that he is wise and respected. That is FINE. What ISN'T fine, is that for the last 3 movies (5, 6, and 1), he was portrayed as this old wise Jedi who was so in touch with The Force, you'd think he invented the damn thing. He was supposed to be slow, and wise. So when that fight starts, sure it's fine. Yoda, LIKE DARTH FUCKING VADER, is insanely strong with The Force. Their mind is the strong suit to them, not the body hampering them down because of age or tech. So when Yoda leap frogs like a crack addict, it COMPLETELY breaks the character we've all known. If it was supposed to be surprising, then I don't approve of it. You don't establish a character for years and then suddenly make them more agile than even the most nimble Jedi. If Darth Vader suddenly went from the walking tank he is, to Anakin in the prequels who jumps and flails, it'd not be intimidating AT ALL! It'd break the character they've established. Darth Vader is so intimidating because of how slow and methodical he is. He could duel you with a light saber, but his force power was the main thing driving him. Same with Yoda. They fixed it somewhat in Episode 3, but he still jumped around a little. But it wasn't neeeeeearly as bad as it was in Episode 2. Want another random example? Jason Voorhees running like an athlete in the Friday the 13th remake. It doesn't make sense right? He could hobble or limp really fast, but to make him run? No! Fuck off with that! You don't establish this slow murdering machine for decades and then decide "OI! NEW REMAKE! NEW TIMES!" and then have him suddenly running! rant over

considering he LIVED ON A FUCKING PLANET MADE OF SAND
Are you stupid? That's ALL THE MORE REASON to hate sand. He's been around it all his life.
I've been around snow all my life living where I am. I hate snow.
Just face it--it's not a bad line, and you only claim to hate it just because everyone else does. You have no opinions of your own--you regurgitate points made by everyone else.
The prequels rule, the OT sucks.
The sand line is cheesy and laughable, but I wouldn't say "bad".

Not a fan of the first two movies but I enjoyed the 3rd one a lot. I didn't like the 2nd one mainly for the love story. Honestly, 1st one isn't THAT bad to me. 2nd one if the only real one I "hate". I found the entire thing to just be boring and drowned in some political boring stuff, without any real sense of... danger I guess.
At least the first one had a build up to a massive battle, and the 3rd one obviously was connecting to 4. At the end of the day though, no one can really tell you not to love the prequel movies. They're movies.
