The Flood / Re: Star Wars Spoilers (Seriously. Spoilers ahead)
« on: December 22, 2015, 12:10:10 AM »
FUCK

Just realized a missed opportunity. Han's last words should have been "I'll see you in Hell"
Completely goes against the motions he did. Didn't you catch how even when he was dying he still cupped his sons cheek gently?

He still loved him, just like Obi-Wan still loved Vader somewhat when he 'killed' him (I still don't get that crap). It'll obviously play a huge part of his character in the coming movies.
For some reason that particular motion really got to me.
It was... powerful.
It goes to show that physical acts can be far more powerful than just words. If he said something like "I still love you" it wouldn't have been as powerful.

It's the same reason I can't stand episode 2's love story because all they say is "I love you" over and over without really showing how they feel for each other (no those corny dates do not count). Like Lucas was thinking "if they keep saying it, the audience will know it", while disregarding so many other things that could have been done to better flow with the movie. They do sort of in the beginning, but then just nope.

Well the OT never discussed any of that, either, and the exposition they had (every conversation between Han and Leia was pure exposition) was pretty forced.
I wouldn't say forced, but yeah.

Uhh, hoping it'll explain more. I mean, we didn't get much in New Hope either other than "strong empire vs weak rebels" really. Episode 5 is what really established almost all of the characters.

I prefer to be extremely confusing so I will do a mix.
Make sure to play this on a radio while doing it then

That's sounds suspiciously specific luci
Just the generic template for each one

Obviously things would be vastly different, but yeah. You can easily tell the difference between two people fucking and a couple making love.

Also, is there any idea if those five planets destroyed by Starkiller were important, or were they just a demonstration target?
No clue

The main complaint with that movie (I loved it) was the lack of exposition. I hope episode 8 explains a few things. The strength of the Alliance, the New Order, the planets, and various other things.

Seriously, it lacked that, but I can see why since this movie was basically establishing a lot of things

Remember a few basic rules if you're doing one of the two

Fucking: No eye contact, put her face in the pillow, no intimate kissing, just thirstyness, make sure to go rough and fast, leave afterwards, feeling ashamed of yourself and making a vow to never see her again until she does something to even slightly turn you on. Then feel like a slut afterwards again.

Love making: Eye contact, slow and sensual, caress the body, kiss passionately, hold each other while going at it, cuddle afterwards

follow these steps and you may just be regular Chad!

The same reason Lucas didn't do 5, and the same reason Irvin Kershner didn't do episode 6.

I'm curious as to how Rian Johnson is going to handle the direction of Star Wars Ep. VIII.
Very well hopefully.

Lets just hope it's not "The Empire Strikes Back 2.0"
That's the main trick right now.
Keep the train rolling from 7 but keep it off the OT rails.

But thats another critic issue I have with Ep. 7, it's literally a new hope 2.0, thats not being original at all, why couldn't they do something different? "Oh but the prequels did it different" thats called taking a new approach, its not bad if its done right. The prequels did an awful job (well minus Ep. 3, decent but not great) is because of George Lucas, if it was a different director (like J.J Abram) to direct the prequels with better writing and story, then my complaint for the prequels will be wiped away. There are times where taking a different approach isn't necessary, however sometimes taking a different approach isn't the main issue, it's how you handle it.
Episode 7, like Jurassic World, was a soft reboot. That doesn't excuse how much they relied on 4, but it was really to get things back on track if you ask me. And Abrams probably couldn't do anything far different like he did with Star Trek BECAUSE of how rabid the fanbase is and the legacy he was given.

Hopefully though with this new stuff established, we'll get different things going with episode 8 and 9 where they'll branch off into their own things.

Abrams isn't directing the next one? Why not?
The original trilogy never had the same director. Lucas only did episode 4, and then two others did 5 and 6.

Lucas did all of the prequels though. I guess they want to follow the original formula and have a different twist on them like the originals had.

Spoiler
I thought his death was really well-handled, actually.
Spoiler
Han Solo would never walk into danger like a retard like that though. Son or no.
Spoiler
Are you kidding? He literally flew into an asteroid field in which the objective odds of survival were minuscule. He thrusts himself into danger all the time, and banks on himself to get through it.
Spoiler
He lost all his wits when he faced Kylo and that's something that Han Solo would never do

Spoiler
It was under very different circumstances. It was his own son, whom he had promised to Leia to bring back.

Honestly I think it was one of those things that only parents can truly understand. Most people on this site, including myself, can't fully understand that
Im just pissed that my hero bit the dust
Yeah

Jar Jar deserved better

Battlefront edition
Looks like your brother is going ti have one shitty Christmas.
Not really. He's getting a PS4. The Vader one at that.

Plus Battlefront is a fun game. Just not worth the current price.
I'm getting money for Christmas along with gifts too, so I think I'll get him MGSV as well.

You should put something like "spoilers in this thread" so people know what to expect. Makes it more appealing than just seeing all these spoilers.

I can see where Verb is coming from easily, but if it turns out someone is trans then I can't see it as lying, because that is their gender.
It's still a lie, because you're not a girl yet you're pretending to be one. However, it's a justified lie. Not all lies are bad.
Not really, in my eyes at least they're whatever gender they chose to be at that point.
lol you can't be serious
I am serious. To me I see Fruit and Cindy as girls rather then men.
Well, that's dumb. I'm a TG, too, but even I don't have the delusion that I'm a literal girl. I'm sure Cindy and Fruit feel the same way.

Class you confuse me. At times you say things like "who cares what they are? Why are you so worried? Respect their privacy", which is cool. But then you say things like "lol they're all boys, stop pretending."

You're just a really enigmatic person.
Huh? Where have I said they're all boys? Are you confusing me with someone else?
I probably am, idk.

I'm pretty sure anything related to being trans against Noelle and Kiyo didn't have to do with them being trans so much as acting like utter pricks.
I talked to Noelle recently about Fallout 4

I don't want to talk to Noelle about Fallout 4 anymore. Blind fanboys/girls are the cancer of the internet.

She was on about gun control too and literally said "if they don't agree with me they're wrong". I wanted reach through and strangle her, but I just said "okay".

Haven't talked to her since.
oh god.. the arky chat was plagued by her way of thinking >_>

If anything, it's racist.
That's just the internet in general. Sadly, animosity leads to people not caring about what they say because there is almost no consequences to what you say. Sometimes something like that even applies to me where I can be cold or harsh to someone, and then have to sit back (sometimes get called out for it) and remember that there is someone just like me on the other side of that keyboard, with feelings and emotions just like me.

It's easy to remove the 'humane' perspective from a lot of things on the internet, especially forums and comments sections.

I am looking forward to it though. I joined here after hearing about it from some people, and intended it to be a joke and short lived. But ironically it's turned into a group I enjoy and a place I've made some friends, and learned quite a few things with some people who have some different thoughts and ideologies than me over in Serious (which is always interesting to see).

So hopefully I don't mess up too much.

I also tried to explain my POV on it, because I expect many others to feel the same way, but they might not choose to observe, but instead judge you before you've done anything. Two examples are Ganondorf, and Incan.
Incan's a friend. He's just taking the piss out of it.
He comes off as sincere to me.

"If Luci really is made a mod then the moderation team here has no idea what they're doing. One of the worst picks possible tbh. I mean I know Luci personally, she will not make a good moderator."
Just banter. Given how he knew me 4 years ago, he can easily attest to how better I've gotten. There was a dark time I unironically loved ponies and had a Noelle tier relationship/reaction.

if i had to guess

- well-behaved
- frequents all the boards
- charismatic
- fills the time gap well (she tends to use the site super late)

good pick tbh
"Good" isn't the first word that comes to mind.  But the mods always seem to be picked by bullshit anyway.

Being passive aggressive sure does demonstrate the maturity to be a mod,  to be able to swallow that kind of bullshit without breaking stride.

So can I get my old logo back along with this color? I liked my Summoner Sign that went with Rin.

Let Cheat know. He can fix that for you
Hokay
Until I download photoshop again here's a sort of iffy version that matches the ninja colors a bit better >__>

Pixlr sucks. I'll make it look nicer soonish if you want.

A mod that will do nothing, great choice friends.
The salt is real
However salty it may be, that's the kind of aura Luciana gives off.
Not do anything? I have others to talk to about stuff too if I have questions and what not.
Please keep in mind that I'm not criticising your ability to press buttons. I didn't say that you will do nothing, I just said that that's the feeling I'm getting from you. The feeling is my subconscious "stereotype" or profile of you, and not my profile of you, so I know that it's rubbish, but my mind makes rough guesses from accumulated data, so it's not completely off. In this case it's just not that logical.

Conclusion:
You will act as a normal mod, but in the most extreme scenarios you might not be able to handle it. Thing is, I'm too smart to base my guess around abductive reasoning, and thus I won't have a preconceived image of you.
Oh
