The Flood / Re: What's the best Anime that's come out lately?
« on: January 27, 2016, 09:53:00 PM »
If you've read the VN the UBW adaptation was pretty good since you can pick up on a lot of the subtle story telling. If you haven't you might be a little lost since it's the middle part of a 3 part VN.

Part 1 was given away for free in Japan so it assumes you've read it and part three is getting a movie adaptation.
Think Heaven's Feel will show a bit more violence (and lewdness) since it'll be a movie(s)?

Your voice would easily be pleasing to listen to for an impressions video, or just talking about how you feel about a game review as you have capture footage.
thank you--that means something coming from an aspiring voice actress

When you do what he did and become the enemy of the most influential country at the time, you are living on borrowed time.

What does Verb sound like? He may make a good little gaming channel if he ever got some stuff together. He's got the thought behind his games, he can type it out well, I wonder if he can talk it.

Update ETA: about forty-five minutes. I'm kinda tired. Long day.

FNAF World was 10 times worse than any FNAF game he's put out. Saw Jim Sterling play a video and it literally hurt my eyes. Flashing everyone, animations were weird and rapid, music was forgettable, sound effects were awful, backdrop looked like smudge. It was just bad.

Woah, that ending gave me goosebumps. I think the message is actually pretty powerful, at least the message I got from it. Doing the same thing every day, all day, in the same routine, can drive someone mad. Especially in jobs like those. I think this was a message that you should try something different in your day, or try and break routine. To live a little. To not fall into the same constants that otherwise make you unhappy.

The music change at the end with the other worker jumping I think drives that message.

6675
I'm pretty much going through a process of shedding off that persona I've had for years and becoming an actual person with feelings and emotions beyond just "happy"

There wasn't even anything to me, other than "happy", and I grew pretty tired of it actually. So now I'm on one of those journeys of self discovery to discover the true self.

Oh, and working through real life issues too, but I'd hate to bring that up for the millionth time.
Don't give up, skeleton!

I mean, justice is a nice idea, but the people who have heard what these shitheads created don't care about the truth. They think the videos are real and PP is harvesting babies.

The damage is done. You can't unring a bell.
I mean

even when presented with evidence and skewed videos, you still push this? The people who actually got indicted are the ones in the wrong because of the tampering they've done and false records they've created.

Justice isn't a nice idea

It's a wonderful tool of irony in this case

Invaders usually complain if the host heals or uses cheap tactics to get rid of them

Which is funny because it's your world and you can kill them however you want.

Yeah since you're invading, in my eyes it's no holds barred. Running around, pranking, hiding, healing, etc. In duels it's rather different.

"It is a sad day in America when those who harvest the body parts of aborted babies escape consequences for their actions, while the courageous truth-tellers who expose their misdeeds are handed down a politically motivated indictment instead," Black said."

Just lol.
I saw that too and laughed. Even with presented with facts some people still push the same rhetoric.

Serious / In a funny twist: Planned Parenthood Activists Indicted

http://www.cnn.com/2016/01/25/politics/planned-parenthood-activists-indicted/index.html

Quote
The Harris County District Attorney's office announced that Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast had been cleared in the two-month-long investigation.

But the grand jury did indict two individuals who were involved in making secret recordings of the group that were released to publicly discredit the group, which provides health services and abortions.

David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt were indicted for tampering with a governmental record, a second-degree felony, and Daleiden was also indicted on the count of prohibition of the purchase and sale of human organs, a class A misdemeanor, according to the Harris County district attorney.

So does this classify as ironic in any way for the guys trying to get the Planned Parenthood peeps in trouble? I do find it funny though how it turned out.

As for my opinion on the EU, while I don't understand all the grievances people have with it, I think it should be more united now than ever with a more aggressive Russia on the rise. NATO is one thing, yes, but the EU is also one I think needs to unite and stand up against Russia's increased nose poking.

Splitting it apart would only allow them to do more.

I find it ironic how the original intentions were to prevent Germany from dominating Europe again and now 70 years later the result has been a German dominated Europe lmao.

I honestly enjoyed it. Because I didn't hype it up at all, it was one of the surprise games that I enjoyed all the way through. Soundtrack was fantastic, as was the set piece moments. It's one of the few games everyone seems to hate but I enjoy.

Can you guys give me a rundown on what the controls should be on a controller. They are all fucked up on my game, b is a and others are also mapped wrong, but I don't know what the default controls are supposed to be. Please help
What controller are you using? If it's anything Dual Shock related, I'll link you a program.

It is a dual shock 4.
I figured. It only reads an Xbone controller properly, so use this.

http://ds4windows.com/

I have this already. The problem is when I use it, the controls are mapped to the wrong buttons. Instead of X being accept in the menus, Its O. Which I know is wrong. I need the schematics for the default controls for the 360 so I can adjust the buttons accordingly.
No no, it should read it automatically. Activate it, go to hide DS4, then plug your controller in, and load up the game. After it loads and it is still acting up, just unplug and replug your controller and it should fix.

It didn't work  :(
Turn on the thing I gave you (DS4Windows) and go to settings. Make sure "Hide DS4 Controller" is checked. Then plug in your PS4 controller and it should light blue and under profiles show it's plugged in. Leave that window open, you can minimize it.

Then open DS2 and load things up. If it still is acting up, simply unplug and replug it back in. That SHOULD work.
