Yeah the game really tanks after getting that.

Let me just make clear that I have no problem with pro-lifers. I'm friends with some people who are adamant about it. And I'm all for promoting pro life too.

I just don't like it when a party that says it's for "small government" suddenly tries to impose their will on people via a big government policy.

As for healthcare, sorry but I personally feel with how much we pay, and how much every major country in the world has it as a right, is something that shows just how far behind the US is. You shouldn't have to go bankrupt because of something happens to you that is out of your hands. That's what I believe at least.

It's a serious problem if you go into debt because you're forced to go to the ER because someone calls the cops on you for being "suicidal" (that happened to a friend of mine. He was drunk and ranting about stuff and someone from a group called the cops on him. Heart was in the right place but with how little money he already makes, it doesn't help).

Let me clear some things up.

You say a right is a right always, so yes I think your choice to choose is your right.

I mention Western Europe because they are easily known for being better in the human rights department than the US ever has. The US is playing catch up (and always has basically) with a bunch of things in that department, such as health care for a prime example.

And I say religious because it seems everyone in congress who wants to preserve life is insanely religious and very aggressive about it.

I say old white men because that's almost the entirety of our congress

But one could argue that something already passed from the Supreme Court to say it's legal, should stay legal. Especially if the rest of the western world has no issue with it either.

I believe taking it away is suppressing someone because of their religious beliefs.

even in the case of rape and incest.
I never understood why people get so hung up on this.

If all life is sacred, a fetus shouldn't be aborted no matter what caused its conception. A child of rape is still a child.

If all life is not sacred, or a fetus just isn't a life because dude muh just muh cells dude women's rights muh, then it doesn't matter, all abortion is okay.

I don't see why people seem to glorify this garbage compromise position.
Because if you get raped, which is non consensual, you shouldn't be forced to have the kid.

If you have a kid via incest, odds are it will be WAY more fucked up than if not.

You can think all life is sacred if you want, fine, but don't go forcing your archaic beliefs on everyone who doesn't agree. The choice should be there and it's already been ruled by the Supreme Court a while back, but I guess Republicans are very hung up about that. That's why I get hung up about it. Old white men trying to make the decision for womens bodies across the entire country.

Edit: And I'm hung up about Ted Cruz on a SHIT load of things. Don't just cherry pick it, the guy is a piece of shit who doesn't deserve to run for office.

Speaking of Shogun 2, I'm running into an issue that whenever I use dx11, my campaign map is overflooded with water. It works fine on dx9 but yeah, it's annoying.

I'm not the only one with the issue and apparently it involves Windows 10, but yeah. It's stupid.
I assume you select dx11/9 when you launch the game and that box pops up with all the options? Right?

Have you tried leaving it on the first one? I play on that and I haven't encountered any problems
Wait a box pops up before launch? I don't remember seeing that.

Unless you mean in game, in which case I set all the settings down to as low as possible while doing it (with no mods, then with no mods and the compatibility thing) and it still persisted.
Yeah a black box with a couple graphic options, I just leave it on the first option because it crashes when I select the others and run the game.
I'll delete and re-download it and see if that option comes up

Id rather she didn't win anything in general
I'd rather Cruz win

he's easily the best one, what with never actually doing anything in congress other than kick other people around and saying no to all abortions, even in the case of rape and incest.

Back in the day I used girls for action...Told them whatever they wanted to hear. *shrugs*
My friend did that plenty in high school. Said girls were like tissues. You use them, then throw them away.
What a fucking scumbag.

I guided my brother to fool two people for 1600 Microsoft points a pop on Modern Warfare 2 that I'd get them to 10th prestige.

Took the points, blocked them, bought games

I like to manipulate or work behind the scenes I guess

FF7 doesn't look that fun tbqh
iirc tbh fam, FF7 is a fantastic game. Graphically it doesn't hold up in today's world obviously, but it was still one of the top FF games. Overrated, yes for sure, but that doesn't mean it wasn't fun. The story and characters were insanely noteworthy.

Maybe I should give it another shot
Meh

If you have it on PC I can help you with a mod or two that will make it look better, but still fit the art style of the game (so that means no advent children mod), along with a music mod if you'd like.

Otherwise you're better just waiting for the remake

I got it on the Vita

I think I was on a train or something. I got bored so I turned it off and went back to FFX instead
Ah okay

well of course the beginning of any game that's an RPG is honestly not that fun. Once you get more into Midgar/out of it, it kicks off.

Ehhh

Honestly I find older games quite hard to get into. Maybe the remake will be more enjoyable.
Something tells me they'll mess up the remake

I want a FF game again where it's back to the turn based combat we had

Yeah I like having time to plan what my next move is and stuff. I tried FF12 but didn't really like the gameplay much. Never played 13, only briefly had a go of 13-2
13 went back to turn base. FF 12 was just MMO but single player

Playing Crisis Core first completely ruins the arch of Cloud and Tifa, which plays a massive role into the 2nd and 3rd disk.

No don't play it first.
