The Flood / Re: Spice & Wolf is getting a sequel
« on: February 11, 2016, 03:22:40 PM »

What is it actually about? My gf keeps trying to get me to watch it, and laughs maniacally whenever she does so-but then I actually enjoyed VK, and that was the same.
Idk what VK is. Acronyms are my weakness. It's about a traveling merchant dealing with economic stuff and bringing along a wolf grill on his travels. Dialogue heavy as mentioned above.
Sorry, VK is Vampire Knight. Is it particularly comedic? With a premise like that, it sounds like it should be

Just read the synopsis. Does a better job than me.

This is super awesome.

Too bad the LN has enough source material for three more seasons but not a single studio is picking up on them for.....reasons. Season 2 did good from what I remember, hopefully this will giver renewed interest.
$$$ is the reason. It didn't sell well enough apparently.

I-is it interesting?
If you like dialogue heavy anime, then yes.
I'm a fan of good things.
I'll give it a go here soon enough. Just need the weekend to roll around.
Watch it dubbed

I came in here to ask what it's about.

...

I fully regret that decision.
The anime is actually not that bad. It's more of a joke how season 1 was heavy on economics and S2 was more focused on the characters

tfw really did watch it for the economics and got sick of the mutant hogging all the screentime
Medieval economics seemed to be fakin tedious. Just give me my Crusades and be done with it.
It's far more interesting than modern economics which is basically a pile of mathematicians barfing onto paper tbh
True

but I like the lewd wolf as well

I still need to watch the series
It's PRETTY good. Watch it dubbed, they nail the voices for each respective character.

Also, >8 likes on that post

I do love how the dumbest posts ever are always eaten up by this community.
I do love how your logic seems to degrade into posts being "stupid" the moment they may conflict with your idols.

Also in regards to your other point, stealing work is pretty despicable.

I think a better feminist to prop up would be Emma Watson since she believes in equality, but is also championing double standards on both sides of the party. Someone who's clearly acknowledged that the term feminism has been turned more into an insult, than it has a compliment, because of both people on either side. Be those people who self proclaim themselves the kings of the feminist movement, and those doing everything they can against it.

For some reason, feminism has turned into, or maybe is associated with, male shaming now for whatever reason. That you should feel ashamed to be a male, and how dare you don't agree with everything females say because you'll be cast as a sexist.

If we're keeping it to first world countries and not places like Saudi Arabia for this post, I think the moment you realize both sexes are oppressed for one reason or another, is the moment you'll be better off and get along.

"If you don't agree with our cultural marxist bullshit ideology you're a sexist"
i don't remember saying anything like that

And yet you did the same thing last page of this post.

Sorry if I'm super late, but it was nagging me.

So what, is american politics like a more tame version of the hunger games or something?
Sort of. The Republican field was so flooded with people, and now that the first two places where they get elected to receive delegates (you need a certain number to win your parties election) were so poor for a lot of then, they suspended their campaigns.

These guys were polling in the single digits as well.

Mods are being faggots like usual and banning for trivial things that only serve to give one side of an argument a free pass to have the other side banned anytime they try to prove a point.

Recolonization fucking when

I'd have assumed that you of all people would be supportive of riots protesting the kidnapping of people who oppose an oppressive government.
Hong Kong is so much better than China precisely because it was under British rule, free from China's oppressive government. Giving control over to PRC was a dumb fucking move.

But yeah I'm always behind anybody who wants to fuck with the CCP.
Good job, Thatcher you dumb woman.

People who say she was amazing I think are rather silly.

I apologize for what happened to you.
So you did it? Sicko.

What?

Why the fuck would I do that?
It's a joke

saying "I apologize" left it open to say you're the one that did it since you personally apologized for something out of your control. I just found it silly.
