I smoke the occasional cigar and that's it. With all the running I do, I can't afford horrible lungs.
how can you afford to smoke anything at all, especially as a runner

i swear, it's like people try to fucking fail at everything they do
It was for a celebration, and I enjoy the variety of flavors. I don't do it all day every day. I don't think I've even touched one in like over half a year.

And you don't inhale it, so that's why.

Why the fuck do we have a no rules board with rules?

That's the whole point of Anarchy. That people can post PM's and all sorts of shit. Otherwise it's just a shitposting board that gets boring really quickly.
I would think because posting PM's, very private things, is kind of messed up.

You guys can still post your porn, gore, and other fetishes and hate that get you off. I don't see why one small thing would make you upset.

Septagon / Re: Why would it be okay to post PMs only in anarchy
« on: February 16, 2016, 04:20:37 AM »
It has been decided that leaking PM's in Anarchy will not be allowed indefinitely from now on.
Sorry for any confusion.
I'm honestly surprised that wasn't a rule before, but glad it's sorted out now.

Yes. I don't know why people keep thinking you can't.

As long as the PK taker makes contact with the ball, it's moving forward and no players enter the area before PK taker makes contact, it's acceptable.
I've just never seen it before. It's one of those "wait, huh?" moments.

DARK SOULS LOL IT'S SO HARD!!!!

Edit: I posted this before reading the OP, so I wasn't mocking you. I just went on a meme with "hard" games >_>

OT: World at War on Veteran easily. I beat it and I was freaking proud of myself. That game took some determination to beat with those grenades.

I agree with the Dark Souls 1 thing. After you get the Lord Vessel, the game just falls apart. The entire chaos part was a chore, Nito's Dank Tomb was all too stupid, and various other things.

Question: Does it make you feel safer knowing that the police officers do not carry/own guns?
They don't need to because the average citizen isn't armed for war
I honestly feel more intimated by cops in the US than I do feel safer around them. Patrol cops are jumpy as shit. Now sheriffs? I'll feel safe around them all day.

I'm not gonna do the septagon quote by sentence thing due to laziness.

Sorry to say, but you don't need to investigate every individuals life. If a gay couple are together and living next door, it doesn't suddenly make you less safe or in a more crazy world. Hell aside from saying hello to your neighbors and occasionally helping them out with something, you probably won't know much about them, ESPECIALLY their love life. It's not something you should worry about at all, just like I doubt you worry about the married couple across the street from you right now.

Haven't mentioned a morally right thing? Well considering you're so ready to say everyone who is gay = a degenerate, I'm not sure much of what I say CAN be seen as legit in your eyes. Even though I mentioned our constitution, equal protection under the law, everyone being treated fairly (which you know is not the case at all with the LGBT community, especially in work places).

I mentioned that it's the right thing to do and we don't have any right to say who can and cannot love each other. It doesn't affect you at all, so why should you so up in arms about it? You're just coming off as some close minded bigot, casting everyone who is gay as evil or wrong.

And biased views? Buddy I thought I was straight until around 4 years ago, and the gay friends I mentioned I only met around 2 years ago. My uncle being gay growing up didn't make me question it at all because he was rarely around and I was too young to even understand the significance of being gay and straight.

I grew up somewhat religious, going to church until I was 10, but thankfully I never got anything shoved down my throat that I should hate an entire group of people because of who they are. The swinger thing isn't something I have a problem with, gay OR straight. It's your own personal business what you do with your partner, as long as both of you are on the same page.

Going back to the morally right thing about gay marriage, I've not seen you mention why it's wrong other than gays = bad or "marriage is an old tradition we should keep" simply for the sake of keeping it. Regardless of which side you stand on, marriage in today's world isn't as big as it used to be. Culture has a lot to do with marriage, and it always has.

A true hero, one of the few men who stood against the gay-progressive narrative that's destroying this country. RIP
This is serious board
Does this face look not serious to you?

I just hope you're not as close minded as to think gay marriage or something is seriously wrong. Otherwise the rest of the civilized world is begging you to catch up.
How's the view from up on that horse?
Pretty good, though there is a slight breeze that needs addressing. Give me your hand, I'll hoist you up to the logic saddle.
oh ho ho, nice one. How about you actually make an argument for something instead of pretending supporting something deemed progressive makes you better?
I can support it if you want.

I don't see why gay marriage would both you, especially in the US where conventional marriages resort in 50% divorces. If two people love each other, regardless of race or gender, why should it matter to you personally who gets married?

Considering I have a gay uncle, a few gay friends, and am bisexual myself, I don't really see the big deal with it. Last I checked the constitution said all men are created equal, and people should get equal protection under the law. And sadly to say in your case, many states had already swung in favor of it, a lot doing so in less than 5 years. It was inevitable that the Supreme Court would make it legal across the entire country, and the voices that are against it are slowly dying out.

Our northern neighbors (aka America 2.0) is laughing at us for complaining over something they settled more than a decade ago.

It's not about me supporting something seen as "progressive" for the sake of supporting progressive movements. It's about what I feel is morally right.

Edit: Give me ONE legitimate reason why it is wrong? Why it is so evil? That's why I feel it makes me, or anyone else who has this view, is morally better than those against it. Because who are we to say people can't get married if they love each other? Especially when marriage in this country is already shallow and messed up as it is? It's not anymore "holy" for a man and woman than it is two men or two women. This isn't the 1900's anymore. Marriage isn't seen as some sacred thing now a days, and today's people don't feel obligated to get married to live a normal life anymore.

« on: February 13, 2016, 06:28:13 PM »
Military will open a lot of doors for you in your life, yes, but just be ready for a bunch of bullshit thrown your way. From three or four close friends I know who joined, one in the army, two in navy, and one in marines, the universal consensus is that you get a lot of bullshit thrown your way. Stuff like "why aren't we doing it like this? It'd be easier." To which the answer is "because that'd make sense."

So just be ready for stress and stuff.

Well regardless, that lets Obama appoint a liberal Judge in the Court.

Ha.

Haha.

Obama will not be appointing a justice.
The longest it has ever taken to confirm a Supreme Court nominee is 125 days. Obama has 361 days left in office.

We are under nine months from the 2016 Presidential elections, as well as the election that will determine the Senate majority. The GOP in the Senate are not going to give the Democrats and Obama any victory prior to the election - they have no need to. There is no Congressional requirement to approve a justice within a certain amount of time.

On top of that, there is the Thurmond Rule in play.
Apparently the Thurmond Rule is something both parties really don't care about when politically inconvenient. But yes the Senate just said  they won't be voting for anyone, so yeah nvm. The next elections will possibly decide this. Still, 11 months is a long time.

Awh poor guy. I feel sorry for him. Even though he was the most conservative one in there, it's kinda sad to see these people go.

Well regardless, that lets Obama appoint a liberal Judge in the Court. This means HUGE things on a number of issues, from health care, to gun control, to campaign financing. Talk about a timed death.
