A series fans are passionate for, are disappointed and sensitive when a new developer comes in and completely goes against what the original games went for. And thus they get angry about it.

I'm shocked.
if they have ever once stated that fallout 4 was going to "stay true to the original games' roots," or something generic like that, then i guess that would make sense to be a little disappointed

but fallout 3 still happened, so it should've been expected that they'd use it as a throughline for all future games
Yeah but when you start butchering lore that's been established for years and years, that's when it gets a bit far. It's okay to throw your own creative take on it. It's another to just piss on the original creators by switching things up.

So I got spring in the Commonwealth. It's pretty nice.

I did a cool thing with sanctuary where I didn't delete everything but instead walled off a small section of town, removed all of the weeds and shit in the road (With Scrap Anything) then made it into mini-Woodbury with an armed militia. All the outside is decrepid and still has a bunch of destroyed houses and shit but inside is nice and clean and actually looks like somewhere people would want to live. I'm super pleased with it.

Here's a clip for anyone interested. I think it might be one of my best builds yet.
Wow hey, that's not too bad. You're making me wanna do something like that.

The more gifs get posted, the more I get interested in Nier, but isn't it PS4 exclusive?
Yeah.

I'll probably play it. Last one had horrible frame issues I think.

Brazil is out due to a hand ball not being called for a goal.

Wow
no fucking way?
I can't tell if that's sarcasm D:
not sarcasm. I'm at work, so I can't watch 😞
Oh. Peru crossed into the box and the other player went to kick it, but his hand hit it and it went in. And officials discussed it for like 5 mins before it was signaled a Peru goal. and they held out so Brazil got knocked out.

This game series doesn't capture me in the slightest
Really? I love the art style and gameplay.
Yeah dunno why. It just gives me the Bioshock look with the way the character models and graphics look and just doesn't capture my attention.
yeah the character models look ugly

intentionally, I think
Their skin and face look so low res, minus the main characters.

but to each their ow.
tanks make you go ow, yes.
They're fine.
If what you said about light/heavy tanks is true, yeah. If not, I disagree.

They confirmed multiple tank classes at the reveal. Light and heavy were mentioned.
Oh

well splendid, my worries for that are put to rest. Now if only we get faction friendly announcers.

Well, when he hopped into a light tank, it was quick, naturally.

The heavy (I think it was medium since 3 seats) was slower.
Wait it's coming back to me now, yeah. I'll re-watch it sometime soon, but that makes sense.

I wasn't paying attention to the speed difference between light/heavy tanks. I'll keep a lookout.

Isn't this just a different version of the story mode in NBA 2K games?
That's what I was thinking, and I'm annoyed more sports games don't copy it. It's a very in depth and fun thing.

Battlefield 1 plays like a WW2 shooter. Which I guess isn't a bad thing, because I wasn't expecting trench warfare, and anything is better than the futuristic crap we've been getting.

My only gripe is maybe slow down the tanks a bit, and I want faction related announcers. Hearing that clean female voice was insanely out of place.

God damnit people. 50+ people just died because some idiot with a gun decided he didn't like gay people.
And you all are acting like fucking politicians trying to push your agenda of MOAR GUN CONTROLZ or GIT RID OF ALL DA MUSLIMS.
Honestly, stop and mourn for the people who just died and pray/cross your fingers for the people who are critically injured from this. Even if you don't fucking know them.
I know it's shitty, but this is something that is going to have a major effect on the election. Mass shooting at a gay Latino nightclub in the important swing state known as Florida? You can't make this shit up. It's almost too insane to be true. We're now in a position where white shooter = Clinton victory, and a Muslim shooter = Trump victory.
So you're saying it's a Republican Trump conspiracy?

Also, Virginia is a more important swing state if you ask me.

Seems you're going off the deep end
How?

No one man can make a change, and even then, change doesn't come that quick. At least not usually.
So first you're criticizing that it took me until the end of his term to come the reasonable conclusion that nothing has really changed then you're telling me change isn't fast and I shouldn't "jump to conclusions"? I don't get it.
I'm not criticizing you. It was more a tongue and cheek reply. I more so meant humans in general take a long time to change, and that we can't really expect one man to do everything. Our government as a whole is pretty shitty.

Where are you Gary Johnson?
Polling 12% nationally on Fox. They'll let him on their debates at 15%
I would really REALLY like that.
