What's up with Mexican fans and throwing shit on the field when the opposing team scores?
They don't teach respect in Mexico.
Quote
They chanted homophobic slurs after the Orlando thing too.
They don't like Americans.
Proof that Mexican fans are cancer. I'm glad FIFA actually said if they keep it up they'll be punished. However CONCACAF does nothing about the fans at all because $$$$

Yeah, but to compensate, I follow more than one team and support one over in the states as well. In fact I feel more invested in them, which is why when they won the MLS Cup, I actually felt emotional that a team I supported that hit a rocky bottom a year before, came out and won it all due to an amazing run.

I also support Crystal Palace in the EPL. Gotta have an underdog.
wtf you can't support three teams?

THAT'S CHEATING!
By supporting CP (they abbreviate it like that in some games. Maybe not do that lol), I more so mean I'm just kinda hoping they win their games and do well. The one I most passionately support is Portland Timbers, and in the EPL obviously Man City.

No

I'm not a massive fan of Barcelona because I feel liking the best team in the world is such a bandwagon thing to do.
wait

so if your favorite team became the best in the world, would you stop following them, or what
No I just meant following a team because "oh they're big and good? okay". More of a casual thing in my eyes. I liked Barcelona before I actually got into the sport.

What she doesn't realize is the club she supports is a bandwagon team ever since they were bought out by Arab oil money. Their fans were only local before that.

What's up with Mexicans and throwing shit ? Seriously, this has been something I've noticed for years.

They chanted homophobic slurs after the Orlando thing too. I fucking hate Mexicans.

Okay trump
Watch a game with any of their supporters. Watch when the MLS teams go in Mexico. They bring laser pointers and everything and try to shine it in the opposing players eyes and the organization does nothing about it. They pee in bottles and throw it at away fans.

No reason for him to play anyway. The US is gonna shit on Argentina 3-0 next Tuesday anyway.
lol aren't three of the US starters suspended?

Yeah, they're probably not gonna win. Argentina is finally pegged to win something for once.

t's also incompatible with western democracy, American nationalism, and most specifically, the constitution of the United States,
Those Islamic Americans seem to be following their religion just fine and actually function in the US (a lot being doctors, lawyers, etc). Unless you're comparing how it's practiced in the Middle East.

America is probably the exception to what you're saying because we acclimate and assimilate immigrants better than any other nation in the world. So I'd say it works in only one western democracy. That one being the US.

Even though London just elected a Muslim mayor, so we'll see how that works.

I dig that last picture. Really has a sort of "slums" feel to it. In a good way of course.

I know this can probably go in the Fallout thread, but I thought I'd funnel it all in here. I always liked Settlement stuff since it let the user be rather creative in a Minecraft esc way, but without all the autism DLC tagged along with it.

So post your stuff and let's see your skillz.

Modern shit aside, I do like the principles of it, along with the culture associated with it in general. I'm thinking more ancient times and the things associated with it, mind you.

Though in today's world, most governments that make it law, have shown time and time again that they are backwards and stuck in barbaric ways of thinking. Basically, it's a religion that hasn't evolved with the modern times.
Could you be more specific in what you like about it?
When briefly studying it (more so in school), I liked the pillars in which propped it up. Basically, I sort of liked the idea that at least once in your life, you have to make a pilgrimage to the origin where things began (though every year it happens, people die due to trampling :/), along with when you pray, you face towards where Mecca is.

I dunno, I always just kind of liked that dedication and specification to it. It's very spiritual if you ask me. There is more stuff I can think of I'm sure, but I can't at the moment.

I would attribute it to trying to appeal to the US audience (hence why we're seeing a French DLC rather than an American one). Also, the game is apparently set in 1918, explaining why Russia isn't present (Russia withdrew in 1917 because of the Communist Revolution).
The maps set in France are based on battles that primarily involved the British.

Honestly, I don't care. I enjoy BF a lot, I'm excited for the new game, and people who didn't see this coming are kidding themselves. We already have a lot of factions (compared to the usual U.S. vs. China vs. Russia).
It's not set in 1918 because it's not just people sitting in trenches forever on the Western Front. It's taking place around the start of it. At least on some of the maps. Russia just isn't involved in the game so far.

True. I would guess the Eastern European front will be DLC as well. Perhaps we'll get a Serbian faction as well as the Russian faction (although Serbia would be a stretch).
That'd be cool.

Also, if there should be any DLC, it really should be the Americans. France was a vital asset of WW1. Oh well, I guess it can't all be perfect.

i'm back

and hey I never said that. If a relationship is just built around sex, it's pretty shallow to begin with.
yeah

just to clarify, i'm not saying "don't have sex"--i'm just saying, i think class's assessment of what it boils down to is accurate

cynical, but accurate
if you're going by the basic definition of it? yeah. but that doesn't factor in human emotions and logic at all, which plays a big part in a lot of things.

Nothing is as black and white as that.

It's called WORLD WAR 1.

Yet we only have certain major parts of the war to play with.

Lol
You mean like any World War 2 game ever? They didn't cover every single battle around the globe in one entry of a game.

Wuts wrong witchu?

Sex feels great, but that's all it is. Pleasure and reproduction
Uhh...
is he wrong?
Yes? Sex can be an insanely intimate bonding and emotional experience between two parties. Unless that ties under pleasure to you.
