The way I see it, life just isn't that serious. Nothing really matters that much. Just go with it and don't worry about it, basically. Know that you can overcome things, and know that when you can't, then it's time to check out. Simple as that.

I've felt bad the last two weeks or so. I'm only now just deciding to be public about it since I've come to terms with a few things.
But I was never one to endorse so much self loathing. I hate it when I see others do it, and I hate it when I do it. It's normal at times yeah, but consistently feeling sorry for yourself got me nowhere in life.

A good catch-all solution for me, if I wanted to cheer myself up, is listen to music that matches my mood. Not only do I have something to project my emotions on, which feels good, I get to sort of occupy my mind and lose myself in the beat, after which I achieve a momentary catharsis where I'm the most powerful being in the world for a brief moment.
It's very meditative, and even if my problems aren't solved, it's still very uplifting. Not for everybody, though.

Which it is. I don't understand why they can't come to an agreement over universal background checks. Having a moment of silence and just praying isn't going to change anything. It won't fix everything, but you'd think they could come to an agreement that 90% of the American people want.. Like I said in another thread. No one answer IS the answer, but not working towards anything at all while expecting things to change, is the very definition of insanity. Also to anyone wondering, the GOP did the same thing over Drill Baby Drill back I'm 2011, but obviously wasn't as big as this since this is far more emotional and getting far more coverage. I'm not surprised about this though. Something had to give and people are getting sick of the government not doing much of anything despite massive support for these things.

Pretty much I think, yeah. Though the one for New Vegas is fantastic. As someone who was born in the Mojave, the Realistic Wasteland Lighting mod they have for it just makes it feel so much better. Fallout NV mod to remove filter Doesn't take away anything either. I just hated feeling like I was on Mars. This actually immerses me more.

But yeah, the US needs to win that 3rd place game. Tonight's game was disappointing on so many levels, and personal mistakes. So if they win the 3rd place game, then I think they ended this tournament easily better than anyone thought. 4 teams left in this are in the top 10, so if they win that game on Saturday, they can prove they're actually not as bad as the rankings show. Which they're not. They need consistency obviously.
