No you're not ugly. A lot of people, if they take care of themselves, don't look ugly. 4596

I've felt bad the last two weeks or so. I'm only now just deciding to be public about it since I've come to terms with a few things.
But I was never one to endorse so much self loathing. I hate it when I see others do it, and I hate it when I do it. It's normal at times yeah, but consistently feeling sorry for yourself got me nowhere in life. 4598

But yeah, if you have to pay for it; don't.I suppose I could see the point if you didn't have a PC and really wanted to play Skyrim with mods or something, but it's not even a graphical update really But yeah, you're probably right. I'm just curious is all since it's free for me. I had zero interest in it at all until I heard that. 4599

Random thought. I've had the urge to change my avvie a few times to something that's not Rin, but then I know I'll miss Rin. It's basically my shtick anyway.
I'm also going back to college if anyone is curious. Last I left you all, I said I dropped out. Gonna major in political science. 4601
The Flood / Re: Flood I need advice« on: June 23, 2016, 03:29:02 AM »A good catch-all solution for me, if I wanted to cheer myself up, is listen to music that matches my mood. Not only do I have something to project my emotions on, which feels good, I get to sort of occupy my mind and lose myself in the beat, after which I achieve a momentary catharsis where I'm the most powerful being in the world for a brief moment.Yeah, I'm listening to music right now as I eat my 4 AM breakfast (because I slept at 10 after losing my appetite for dinner). So just relaxing for now. Contemplating going for a long early morning run as well maybe. 4602

When you're feeling really shitty given IRL events, how do you cheer yourself up. Been mulling this over a few days now, and I rarely (if ever) have asked any of you for help.

Serious / Re: Democrats staging sit-in over gun bill« on: June 23, 2016, 01:52:33 AM »At this point, they're basically going for "doing something is better than doing nothing at all".Which it is. I don't understand why they can't come to an agreement over universal background checks. Having a moment of silence and just praying isn't going to change anything. It won't fix everything, but you'd think they could come to an agreement that 90% of the American people want.. Like I said in another thread. No one answer IS the answer, but not working towards anything at all while expecting things to change, is the very definition of insanity. Also to anyone wondering, the GOP did the same thing over Drill Baby Drill back I'm 2011, but obviously wasn't as big as this since this is far more emotional and getting far more coverage. I'm not surprised about this though. Something had to give and people are getting sick of the government not doing much of anything despite massive support for these things. 4606

Just read up last night that if England decides to leave the EU, Scotland threatened to call another vote for their Independence because they want to stay. Along with the rest of the UK wanting to stay.
And it might actually work this time since it's not just "FREEEEEEEDOM" anymore, but more so "They kicked us out of what we all wanted. Do you still want to be a part of that?" Guess we'll find out if England wants their "freedum" come tomorrow. 4608

Glowing Sea is a different story since it's directly where the nuke hit, and I think in the lore there was a nuclear reactor or two there or something.
Still, even if it's not realistic, turning off the music and going there is insanely immersive and well done. 4613

The Flood / Re: EURO 2016/Copa America: United States VS Messi« on: June 21, 2016, 10:20:16 PM »
Gotta say though
I've never seen a free kick THAT beautiful from Messi. Like, how can you even be mad at that? It was soooo perfect. You gotta appreciate what that player can do, because odds are we're not seeing one like him again for a long time. Hope he finally wins a cup. Lord knows he needs it. But yeah, the US needs to win that 3rd place game. Tonight's game was disappointing on so many levels, and personal mistakes. So if they win the 3rd place game, then I think they ended this tournament easily better than anyone thought. 4 teams left in this are in the top 10, so if they win that game on Saturday, they can prove they're actually not as bad as the rankings show. Which they're not. They need consistency obviously. 4618
The Flood / Re: EURO 2016/Copa America: United States VS Messi« on: June 21, 2016, 09:56:39 PM »
I obviously didn't expect the US to win (I expect them to win the 3rd place game), but I didn't expect them to make so many bad passes while not even under pressure.
And once again, Michael Bradley buckles in big games. Easily the biggest choke artist there. 4619
