Black house spiders are venomous, but are not considered dangerous. They are timid and bites from them are infrequent. The bite may be excruciatingly painful and cause local swelling. Symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, sweating and giddiness are occasionally recorded. In a few cases, skin lesions (arachnogenic necrosis) have developed after multiple bites

Thats how every election here (USA) is. Most people just don't care. And rightfully so, it never truly impacts your day to day life.
By that logic, they should care to vote far more with their local government. They affect your day to day life by an insane amount when compared to the President.

But voter turnout is insanely low for those things too. Americans, for all their talking for a right to vote, don't really vote much.

I 100% agree. People SHOULD vote more and be more knowledgeable politically.

But like I said, people have more important things to worry about in their day to day life.

I mean look, I was pissed that Obama won 2 times. But my day to day life was/is completely uneffected by who is president. If I spent time stressing over who is president and what not, I'll lose sight of what's really important. Feeding my family.
Yeah I completely get where you're coming from. My US Studies teacher in Highschool really stressed out how voting for the President is cool and all, but voting locally should matter a hell of a lot more to you than anything else.

He also never stated his political views and always played devils advocate and I loved it. His passion for teaching and making us get into our government is probably a huge reason I am into politics like I am, and going for a major for it.

Oh fuck no. Controls and combat are debatable. Everything else is not. This is called contrarianism. Suck my dick.

The op is just an attention grabber but the game is JUST okay. It's definitely one of the most over rated games of all time. I really like the story so far which is why I still plan on beating it. I also have all the DLC and blood and wine looks really interesting.
It's one of those games I don't play for long stretches of time, but then I do and enjoy it every single time.

I forgot just how great they handled Zuko's character in that series. Talk about a complete character.

The irony is that most of these people now claiming Skyrim is shallow can look fondly at their 200+ hours of adventuring in a still-true technical benchmark with genre-defining mechanics. It's just silly. Skyrim is, without debate, a ridiculously detailed, expansive, content-filled and organic game. There's a reason that the worst parts of the game are the scripted story pieces, and that's because the game absolutely succeeds at being open-world and player-driven. I'm not even sure what the "depth of a puddle" is referring to. Surely it's not talking about the lore available in the game, or the hundreds of completely optional locations, hundreds of quests followed by procedurally generated quests, or the thorough crafting system? Of course, the game isn't a character-driven vidya novella a la Witcher, but the series never claims to be such. It's a giant fucking world with tons of stuff to do and tons of lore to uncover, and it kicks ass at it.

I bet you find Fallout 3 and Skyrim to be the pinnacle of RPG's.
Whether you like it or not, Fallout 3 set the benchmark for modern video games.
ENOUGH
DELETE THIS
You guys are just jealous that Fallout 4 looks to be packed with an obscene amount of content.

Despite what we all feel for the different games

We can all unanimously agree that 2 is probably the worst in the entire series. That leveling system can go die.

I also don't think I've heard anyone say X is overrated. If anything, most think it was the last good main installment (minus the MMOS).
i said "underrated" for X and VIII

afaik, there's this camp that believes both those games are under-rated, with X being unfairly judged for its voice acting and gameplay, and VIII being largely overshadowed by VII in many respects
Sorry, I meant underrated too. And 10 doesn't have bad voice acting, because people always just reference that stupid laugh Tidus and Yuna do, while forgetting that it was quite intentional that they laugh that retarded.

Most of the European nations aren't even meeting their NATO obligations, not sure how an actual EU military will be able to work.
Maybe this will wake them up. Doubt it. People have become too complacent with America's military power. Maybe Russia pushing for more land will make them realize "Hey we should help out too."

i've only played a small handful of FF games, but this seems to be the general consensus on the internet

7 > 6 >>>>>>>>>> 1 > 8 > everything else > 10 > 13

and then there's the "VII is sooo overrated" people who probably like VI more
and then there's the "X/VIII is sooo underrated" people who rank one of them as their favorite
and then there's the retrogamer who has only played FF on NES

no one seems to like XIII, though, which i think is funny
I love FF 7 and even I can acknowledge it's insanely overrated. That doesn't mean it's suddenly not good though.

I also don't think I've heard anyone say X is overrated. If anything, most think it was the last good main installment (minus the MMOS).

The thing this whole referendum really brought to light, for me, was just how utterly retarded a lot of the voting population are.

There were about 3 people (IRL) over the last 6 months who had the slightest clue about anything beyond newspaper headlines and soundbites about the EU. Muh 350 gorrilion. Muh tidal wave of shitskins. The sky will fall on our heads. The economy will be utterly destroyed. WORLD WAR 3.

This whole thing has further cemented my dislike for democracy, can we just restore the monarchy already and go back to feudalism?
It's really a preview for how things will go over in our country. We have people who think voting in a racist demagogue will fix our immigration policy, and then on the other side we have a woman who says "don't vote him because it's too scary", and we saw exactly how well that message worked out for politicians pitching their idea for remaining.

This has pretty much assured me that Trump will win, unless he completely melts down on the debate stage.

This is Deci tier  bait.
I genuinely feel this way

"somebody doesn't like the game I like he must be trolling"
There is a difference between not liking a game, and being factually wrong. The voice acting isn't bad in the slightest.

I'd also remind you that Dark Souls combat is insanely clunky too, but in a good way.

in light of all this, i have learned myself a neat little term: "pyrrhic victory"

look that up
I'm surprised you've never heard of that before.
Same.

Although I should mean I say that in a way which is complementary too his control of language.
To be honest, I heard it a long while back, but then Total War reminded me of it again. If you get it in that, it's basically the game telling you "lol u suck".
Hey now, when you pull off a pyrrhic against two full stacks with a simple town garrison and a half stack navy you've done something right.
I think you get a heroic victory in that regard.

I know it's late but I heard the term "Hollow Victory" before, just didn't know the other name for it.
Pyrrhic Victory

a victory that inflicts such a devastating toll on the victor that it is tantamount to defeat.

The tears are flowing.
It's almost like young people are the only one's who can hold genuine beliefs, are always correct about the best way to maximise their own utility and everybody who disagrees with them is a selfish jerkoff. . .

That, or young people are just petty, like everybody else.
