The raids looked fun. I thought not having matchmaking reallllly sucked for it though. It's very hard to get a group of 6 friends together at the same time to do something.
If the randoms you get matched with for the other activities in Destiny are any indication, there's almost no way you'd complete a raid with them
And yet I can still do the same for something like Final Fantasy 14. As long as you have a basic understanding of working together, I think it'd help.
I think that has to do with the games audience and accessibility. I garuntee many more kids and "casual gamers" play destiny than ff14
It has to do with a lot of things actually. Specifically the "holy trinity" (tank, healer, dps) of it.
you're making me regret not buying ff14
It's never too late

This doesn't cause ANY problems with unit cohesion, I'm sure. But god forbid we let women serve in combat roles.
Co-ed combat units are simply less effective. The IDF proved it. Get bent out of shape elsewhere.
Less effective =/= not effective at all

Our country would be "more effective" if we executed all the homeless people on welfare. Doesn't make it right.
You have to have a permanent residence to get welfare.
You understand the sentiment of my comment. Efficacy isn't morality. We could kill all the jobless people who use state benefits and our country would be better off, but it's still evil as hell.
Efficiency keeps you alive.
The military is an inherently discriminatory environment and needs to be to operate at peak in mission critical areas.
fuckin civies REEEEEEEEEEEE
Lol, nope. The US military is bloated as hell. It could be half the size and efficient and we would still be fine defense-wise.
No, we wouldn't. Do you not realize just where we put our troops around the world?

Slicing it in half would bankrupt us in a lot of places.
Yeah, and we don't need to have troops in all those places.
Pretty sure we need troops in South Korea and our few bases in the Middle East. Base in Germany is the midpoint for that.

We need all the places in the Pacific to deter China.

I think 99% of the people who did them used destinylfg sites or the subreddit. That's how I completed them all and almost everyone I got on there was nice and competent as opposed the the knuckle draggers and squeakers I would get in pvp and strikes
Sounds nice. If I had an Xbox One I'd play with people here, but I don't.

OMG don't tell me that bow is what I think it is.
It is. We ran it a few times today unsynced and a guy from the FC was kind enough to get me most of the materials and craft it.

>buying games a second time you've already played

why?
well if you're like me and sold your old console and its games for the upgrade, you'd quite enjoy the upgrade to all the games in 1 package
It's just better graphics, which don't matter anyway.
Usually in 60 frames. Lord knows you need that for Bioshock. The frames for those games were annoyingly unstable at times.

Still, a simple port and bump up isn't enough for me.

http://www.cnn.com/2016/06/30/politics/transgender-ban-lifted-us-military/index.html

Quote
The Pentagon said Thursday it was ending the ban on transgender people being able to serve openly in the U.S. military.

The announcement -- which removes one of the last barriers to military service by any individual -- was made by Defense Secretary Ash Carter, who had been studying the issue for almost a year. The decision comes as the military has witnessed major changes in the role of women and the inclusion of gays, lesbians and bisexual service members in recent years.

It's ALL OVER, lads.

That'll go up once Hillary's indicted.
She won't be, but considering how unlikable she is, and how she's had her best few weeks and he's had his worst, yet he's still close? Yeah, it shouldn't be this close. But Hillary is unlikable and has a history of stagnating in the polls. LC said it before, Dems chose literally the worst candidate they could.
