I think the ammo argument is a little silly. It never really bothered me at all, maybe it was because I played as a Sentinel and mostly used my abilities more than weapons.
I just missed the weapon customization from the first game. At least they had some sort of customization in ME3.
I like ammo better than the overheating thing because my shots have to actually count somewhat. They explained that change in game mechanics quite decent in game actually.

Every game but 3 is enjoyable
only problem with AC1 is its repetitive. The Ezio trilogy (2, Brotherhood, Revelations) are all good. AC3 was just meh

Playing this again years later, I changed my opinion on 2 things
1. Udina isn't as bad as I thought in the past. Sure he can be a little hard, but he has to deal with a lot of shit. He's still got humanities best interest out there and fights hard for you in the beginning of the game, raising his voice at the Council and what not.

2. Liara is cuter than I originally thought. Holds an interesting convo about Asari when you first meet her. I'm gonna romance her through the 3 games since she's the most consistent, and without spoiling anything, ties a lot of the content from 2 and 3 together nicely.
