I'm not. People's iphone's were breaking in their pocket because it's a thin piece of crap that bends easily.
right, i saw a video about that awhile ago

it's crazy what they can get away with because people will just buy it anyway
Yeah

so it's why I'd go Android.

i mean, they all do the same thing at the end of the day, don't they
Yeah but man, Apple's library for music is a hassle. As in, when you launch it, it automatically brings you to the store, and you have to go through a bunch of crap just to get to your music. They break easy too.

Debating on whether or not to upgrade to an iPhone 5 or jump ship to android.

You phone nerds have any suggestions?
Android. It's easily better than the iPhone for a number of reasons. iPhone's core features just keep getting worse with each installment.

Yeah but like

Which one? There are a dozen different phones using the android OS.
I personally have a Galaxy 5s. Brother heavily recommended it to me. The 6 has a screen that is more like Apple's I think, so once it breaks you're more or less fucked. If your screen breaks for a 5S (it's plastic), it's a simple and cheap replacement.

I look white though. My mother (black) was even going on about how she's glad she doesn't have to worry much about me going out because of my skin color, or any of my brothers.

Kinda funny, kinda sad, but she was wasted so whatever.

Dude was fighting with no gallbladder and wasn't even training for this.

Sucks to see how quickly he's fallen off, but I guess that's what happens in these sports. Same happened to Chuck Liddell. They just fall off quickly due to age and all that.

it wouldnt hurt to add women into multiplayer just for the sake of customization. as long as the models are proportional when it comes to hitboxes and all that good stuff, i dont care.
Yeah it wouldn't, but also getting offended over it is just retarded.

Speaking of amazing things in sports, I still think this is one of the most crazy things in sporting history.

https://youtu.be/2ccHdSd4Xq8?t=322

Final seconds, have to score to win the title for the first time in over 40 years, and quite literally steal it from their arch rivals who have their shirts off, thinking they won it.

Verb I get what you're saying, but I'm just way too lazy to respond.

In terms of soccer, it can be expressive mainly because of high pressure moments. Time is ticking down, only a minute left, and you're throwing all your players forward, desperately trying to get something into the net

and you could either score in the last second and slip shit, or lose disappointingly due to being counter attacked and scored on, thus losing everything for sure. That's just a brief example.
Maybe it's because I've been exposed to more competitive fighting games than competitive football, but finding any semblance of self-expression in a team sport would be so extraordinarily difficult for me. Everything seems so planned out rather than spontaneous, so it all seems less human to me. All the players are just little cogs in the machine that makes up their team--there's no sense of individuality or personality, and it's just so hard to be invested in something like that.

Even if there was a documentary about each player's life story, I couldn't be expected to watch all that shit. In the world of fighting games, you get to know each player through osmosis. I never read up about any of my favorite players' lives--but I could tell you their stories, because it's just something you catch onto.

I guess what I'm saying is that the FGC is more accessible, but at the same time, it's not. I dunno.

It's a hard subject to discuss.
I get what you're saying. Individuality is much harder to find in a sport that requires a team effort, as opposed to something more solo.

The video mentioned women were in WW1 (duh) in Russia and America in the Navy.

But I suppose if they took one look at the game, and the wars and fights (front lines), they'd know they didn't send in women as first infantry. So they claimed the "authenticity" argument was on shaky ground.

But ya know, when was research ever important when supporting claims?

sports games are among the dumbest genres in video games
The only sports games I would ever recommend to people that actually have effort (as in I feel the devs actually try to put effort into it) are FIFA, and MLB: The Show.

What time does Bork Laser fight
Prelims are on right now, so I'd say in like... 2.5 hours? The best fights are usually the undercards though.
Don't care for other fights, just here to see Bork Laser kill his opponent
