Just be aware that like any F2P game, it draws you in with easy stuff at first, but once you hit that level 20, things become a horrible grind to the point you're almost coerced into buying microtransactions.
I'm really not investing 100% in the game until there are more features and improvements added to it.
Yeah. Right now, I'm kinda just in it for the social aspect. I've heard too many fun stories of people having adventures with total strangers, and it sounded like too much fun. Even if it ends up being a passing fad, I'll still probably try to complete the dex or something.
Good luck

Went out again and caught a Drowzee and a Krabby.
My grandparents were in the area running some errands, and they spotted me. We haven't seen each other in awhile, so we had dinner and just had a nice long chat about our lives. It was nice.
It also brought me downtown where all the Pokéspots are.
Exactly how far did you walk?
about six miles
jesus i'm way too lazy for that

Of course it's hard to judge it compared to the newer ones because it came out on a less advanced system but that doesn't mean it can't be my least favorite next to 5
Well yeah, but to say it's a piece of shit is just silly.

The only issue I have with Gen 1 is honestly just how bland the region is. But again, back in the mid 90's on a weak handheld device, didn't really give them many options.

Close to my house is a HUGE cemetary that has so many landmarks in it, they are all PoKestops. Went and farmed them yesterday, and came out with a Hitmonchan.
BUUUUUUUT, today they posted a sign banning all gaming, due to people getting out of their cars, walking over graves, leaving trash, and interupting services.
Some people are just inconsiderate

You mean like every single pokemon until Black/White?
And even that game's story was pretty dumb.

The ending it was kinda meh with them simply making Ghetis or whatever the evil bad dude, but the characters, the gym leaders ACTUALLY DOING SOMETHING, and various other small things made it actually come together to feel much better. I also think not going down the typical route of "become elite 4 champion" was really a smart thing to do. I don't think every pokemon STORY should have you just becoming the champion and that be that. It should always be an option, but I don't think you always need to end the game in the Hall of Fame room.

Guys, I get Gen 1 is kind of simple in design, but it WAS the first installment of a lot of it, and I honestly think some of the most iconic pokemon come from Gen 1. Simplicity doesn't always = bad.
If you ask me, Gen 5's pokemon are absolutely horrible for the most part because of over designed and what I feel is a bunch of unmotivated names.

D/P/Pl had a decent story - at least one better than "Evil organization is evil!"
By decent story do you just mean the faction was different? I find destroying the entire universe is generally meh of a motive. Even then, in Platinum, the writing wasn't entirely amazing or a bump up from the rest.

I'm playing Pokemon Glazed
It's pretty good. Challenging for sure. Chose Riolu for a starter too for the extra challenge.
That said, evolving Riolu is... unique to say the least. I actually like it, even if it is tedious.

And Obama turned a eulogy into a gun control speech. Shut the fuck up.
Maybe he wouldn't do that so often if the NRA lobby and congress stopped obstructing everything he tries to pass.
Or maybe black people should stop blaming the police for everything when their race kills each other on a daily basis across the US
Or maybe Obama should stop blaming guns who take black peoples lives who blame white people, who blame black people, who blame cops!

He's not wrong that cops are on edge that every person they stop could have a gun and pull it on them. I imagine walking up to a pulled up car in a less than reputable neighborhood is nerve wracking.

And yet Obama will still continue to say "no it's good guise".
I like a lot of what Obama has done, but I can very rarely find a good part of his foreign policy. That deal was shit.

I hope you find the kitty soon. Idk why everyone is thinking being an asshole about it and sayin the generic edgy 15 year old stuff is nice.
It's almost like this is the flood of 2006.

Weebshit is the only genre I actively avoid. Anything else is fair game, even though I have little to no interest in sports games and MOBAs.
So like MMO's, most RPGS's some hack n slashes?
I just ask myself this one simple question. Does it look like it belongs in or relates to anime, manga or just general weebery? If the answer is yes to any of them, it's a no-go.
JRPGs are bad yeah

ignoring the whole gen 1 hate circlejerk, gen 1 was actually a pretty good start in terms of the pokémon themselves
The only thing I could understand with gen 1 hate is the boring landscape, not so much the Pokemon. Sure they're not as creative as gen 3 and so on, but some are insanely iconic and hold a lot to my childhood. For an entire new universe, it's a feat they could do that with 151 creatures.
Imagine the concept art from early ideas. Must have been a nightmare.
that might be a pretty good idea for a video--"In Defense of Generation I," where i talk about some overlooked yet positive aspects of gen 1 that have been forgotten in a sea of bullshit, or maybe explain why some of the "bad" aspects of the first games weren't actually all that bad at all, and how it's basically just become popular to shit on what's popular
hmm
Something to think about. I don't hate Gen 1 at all (honestly I think Gen 5's pokemanz are the worst) because sometimes, simplicity =/= bad.

Sanders was honestly in a catch 22
Do you continue to hold out and lose any amount of momentum and leverage you had for "integrity"?
Or support someone you don't 100% support, but you can agree with on much more issues than someone on the complete opposite end of the spectrum?
Never mind the fact he helped push the Democratic Party more left on a lot of issues, and the supporters as well. If may not be everything he wanted, but he did get something.

Do people seem to forget that Bernie got a somewhat small victory on the Democratic platform, and may get a few more?
Do people also forget it was even worse with Hillary vs Obama back in 08? People have short memories.
