Gaming / Trading in my PS4 for a 2DS and a ton of games
« on: July 17, 2016, 01:17:23 PM »
Now I know what you're saying about the 2DS and how it's bad. I did my research, I know what I'm doing. Basically, with the new job coming up, I'm gonna be saving money anyway for the holiday season to get a 3DS XL, which I would then just give my 2DS to my brother. Talked to the guys at gamestop and I know I'm getting the games I want for it that wouldn't restrict it (Zelda, Pokemon, Fire Emblem).

I just never use my PS4 for... anything anymore really. The only thing I'm remotely interested in is Nier, and FF 15 is just a massive "meh" for me. Just waiting for the PS4 to format before I go turn it in (I'm getting $200 in credit value for it).

I know for a fact I'd get more playtime out of my 3DS (2DS), and the games I want from it. Just thought I'd uhh... share!

Baby powder is something you should use if you're concerned about that smell. After you shower and dry that is.

That can really apply for any area that's constantly rubbing and hidden away in a heated area

I should also probably just change this to the Zelda thread.

Okay playing Phantom Hourglass (I know, I'm all over the place) and I met Linebeck. I love this guys theme.

I also forgot how animated (in expressions I mean) this Link is. Probably has the most personality out of them all.

Before I play Spirit Tracks, I need to play Phantom Hour Glass considering it's basically a trilogy.

I do like Zelda's design in Twilight Princess, but she's as broody and stoic a Zelda as I've ever seen, and you barely see her. I suppose that's to make room for Midna, but still.

Zelda might have the typical cute school girl personality (from what I gathered so far) in Skyward Sword, but at least she had a personality like Verb said.

Dunno how the one is for Hyrule Warriors. I think her design might be my favorite.

Screw it, I'll just play Wind Waker. I need a Zelda fill.

But I don't want to waste money on a Wii for one Zelda game that apparently falls below the rest.

Okay I give up. It's a struggle to do anything wii related in this game due to the retardation of most of it. So I'll either just watch a YouTube full play of it, or somehow get a Wii.

I can't go to any news site without hearing about the coup and getting annoyed again that it failed.

It's always funny to see how democracy dies, and this time it's in the masses of the people.
YouTube

Yes yes, that's been on my mind all day. She's not wrong.

Odds are if Erdogan controls Istanbul, he'll rally people behind him. All because they forgot to confiscate one phone from a reporter. They were also just late at bombing his vacation home.

I think you'll see why it's generally disliked very soon, if not already.

It starts off amazing, then...
The biggest annoyances right now are just trying to get around the wii controls sometimes.
yeah how the fuck does that even work on an >emulator
A mod, and some patience. I'm using my DS4 but if the annoyances get REALLY bad, I can go K&M.

He's doing exactly what Putin did. Use democratic methods to become increasingly authoritarian. He's Turkey's Putin, and people are retarded enough to support that there.

Fine, fuck em. This was the last gasp attempt to save their foundation and their own people more or less confirmed they're okay with a dictatorship.

A lot of Turks apparently like the current government.
Because they're fucking retarded

Oh well. It was good knowing Turkey turned its back on its foundations and wants to go back to Ottoman Empire 2.0.

So the issue is the Army is saying "Go home please, we really don't want civilians to get hurt."

Erdogan is saying "Fuck that, go try and fight the army." but people think Erdogan is in the right, despite encouraging people to suicide attack

Oh cool.  I didn't see Vader though, but maybe I missed him because the siren was so shitty
He'll be in the movie, but not in the trailer so far.

I don't get what this movie is.  Is it episode 8? What's it about?

Also, I watched the original trailer and that confused me some more.  It was also a shit trailer.  Wtf was the siren thing?
Takes place between 3 and 4.

Remember Vader in ep 4 was always on about those Death Star plans? This movie is about them getting those plans.

Nope, Erdogan is alive hold up somewhere. The fact he phoned in an interview via FaceTime or something urging people to take to the streets shows he's desperate as fuck.

The military is clearly in control of everything vital.

Some reports coming in claiming Erdogan has actually been arrested and is en route to Istanbul. No idea how true that is.

To quote someone from another group
Quote
To give more context, this is not their first coup. They executed them in 1960, 1971, and 1980. And in 1990 they had an Islamic appointed PM removed from office. Their loyalty is generally considered to be to the Turkish state, the secular Turkish state, not any religion, political party, or leader. So if they think someone threatens the secularity of the state, they tend to go balls deep.

Keep in mind after their defeat of World War 1 it was the MILITARY that installed the Republic. They wanted to be more secular, more pro western. To be seen as a shining beacon to connect the West and East.
