I think I recall the original ending of ME3 being leaked or something, so they had to rush to change it, or something like that
Nah, the original plot (something about the Reapers existence being around to stop the spread of Dark Matter that'd destroy the galaxy, hence the sun randomly going supernova in ME2, along with subtle mentions of it in ME2) was scrapped and only a handful of writers got together to write the ending. I don't mind it as much with the Extended Cut free DLC they released (the original was way too rushed), but the idea of Dark Matter being the central plot point is also interesting.

This is true. John Snow (not the GoT character) helped revolutionize it. It's a shame we don't teach about him in school that much, because his revelations and research more or less helped change how humanity builds cities, and completely reconstruct some.

Everyone and their grandmother has a connection to the internet. Your fucking shower head is connected to the internet these days. Why the fuck is he worried about a non-existent number of the population that "Isn't connected to the internet"? What changes will this patch bring? How does it not meet his standards? Instead of being cryptic he should tell us what these "problems" are. How do we know he isn't going to just fucking delay it again? Set dates apparently don't matter anymore.
Also, notice how I said: Give the option to buy the "unrefined" version (Duscae 2.0 was hardly an issue and they've only been making things better supposedly from that point on wards). It's not like I'm saying everyone should be forced to play the version SE is currently set with ATM.

All because of your hype and inability to be patient and not have an overall better experience. He's not going to get into the nitty gritty details of it. Hell almost no game developers do when they delay games. Be thankful they're even putting something out and stop being so entitled. What is life. I understand it's annoying to set a date, only for it to be ripped from you, trust me I do. But you need to look at the bigger picture too and understand that you getting the game early, and more unfinished (most likely with framerate issues), will only hamper your overall experience of the game. Don't let impatience cloud judgement in an industry where greed and money overtake what is best for the consumer at an almost cancerous level. Sit there and remember that companies think it's okay to ship games for $60 unfinished now. And look at what you're saying in defense of it. Also you quoting at the bottom kinda ruins the quoting.

The one real thing that bugged me, and I feel sorry for console users, is the god awful FOV. FOV rarely bothers me, but oh my god it's so bad in default. Unless you can edit it on console, in which case god bless america.

Not after the Iraq disaster, no. The government we installed gave no voice to the opposing religious sect and it made it even worse. That along with butchering almost all of the former government. Iraq (and Afghanistan) has made us weary to get into any conflict. At least for the next decade or so.

Ambitious games like this really should be kickstarted and not handled by companies like Microsoft and Sony. Hyping it up like a triple A game when it only has like 20 people working on it, and pressuring them to release it early when it clearly needed a delay, or maybe even a beta, along with a $40 price tag.
I feel sorry for the devs, really. But at least they're transparent and are interacting with the community and working on it.
Either way, I never hyped it up because I (and I'm sure anyone who's older now a days and is into video games) am a realist with games these days and understand the restrictions developers face, along with how shitty the big game companies really are. I'd still like to get it, but when the price drops and updates smooth out things.
