I know the US has some socialist policies. Medicade and Medicare are one of them, which is why I find it so funny a lot of far right Republicans freak out at the very things they support.

Thanks for the info on the other stuff.

That's good news. Yeah I wonder why the Ethiad is so quiet IRL. Even when they score. Last time they were super loud was when Man City first won the title again back in 2012ish. I hear it's because they attracted a lot of casual fans so it's meh.

As for the crowds, do crowds slowly go away as a match is won by a lot or lost by a lot? I remember this on older NCAA Football games which was a nice touch.

Okay, well a lot of the good sounds good. I love MLB: The Show because of the tiny emotions they add like fan reactions, animations, etc. It sounds to me like FIFA is doing that this year. Like players faces getting red is fantastic. Also, LOUD CROWDS YES. I play with headphones on and the crowds in FIFA 16 felt kind of disappointing.

However pretty bells and whistles aside, I do have a question. How does normal passing feel? In FIFA 16, passing felt so damn awful to me. Passes wouldn't make it to the player, it'd sometimes overshoot a player and go to another one you didn't want, and the midfield seemed to know everything you did. It felt way too difficult for me.

Did they tone that down at all, or is it still as in your face as FIFA 16?

I'm sure I'll think of more questions.

What would you call them then? They have socialist policies. Just because it's not going by the textbook definition, doesn't mean it's not some form of it

ex. Communism

Isn't communism a leftist ideology since you mentioned leftist. I'm not insanely knowledgable in this field. But yes, Communism was never appealing because once you get past the "everyone is equal" bit, you realize how flawed it is in so many aspects.

Also, so if the free market falls, what happens then? If communism happens like I read above, or something like it, then idk. I figured socialism would be the one to take hold. It seems capitalist socialism is working pretty well for some European states, but free market = capitalism.

Wouldn't socialism be the more logical outcome?
Why would public ownership of the means of production help? Liberal markets hitting a wall doesn't mean democratic bureaucracies will suddenly stop sucking dick.
But if Communism comes around, those democratic bureaucracies would cease to exist. At least that's how it's always happened because Communism is an anarchistic thing.

That's what I was getting at by mentioning them.

China isn't Communist. They moved away from it almost immediately after Mao kicked the bucket. They're only Communist by name to meme people.
I know, I just wanted to reinforce and clarify~ <3

Socialism is the way to go anyway since Communism is anarchistic in nature, which is DUMB kids. Socialism is POSITIVE!

-The way WW1 ended. If Ludendorff made peace sooner then Germany would have kept the lands which they took which would have resulted in them not being fucked over. Chances are if Germany didn't get fucked over in tat train then WW2 wouldn't have happened, at least a German started one.
Britain should've stayed out of the war and let Germany win.
Treaties don't allow such things
A treaty can be broken.
Not in Total War it can't. Otherwise they're automatically at war with you.

Fall of Rome

- hundreds of thousands ded
- technology lost to mankind for a thousand years
- engineering feats only recently being passed

Mongol invasions as well. In proportion to the human population and how many they killed, it was the worst period in terms of deaths I believe. Though the Black Death probably contributed to this.

3687
I will say Fallout 1/2 aged, but when playing something modern like Pillars of Eternity, I can say Fallout 1/2 holds up fine in comparison to it. Lord knows the writing did.

3688
Yeah, the Gen 1 pandering is real. And it's not letting up, either--all of the Alola forms they've revealed so far have been for first generation Pokémon only, which a lot of people are upset about.

I can tolerate it, personally, but the nostalgia-baiting is hard to deny.
Ugh

It's just, I like the pokemon, but I feel it just holds the game back from fully embracing the new gen and its pokemon. Black and White did a good job of this, really (I think). And the further away from Gen V we get, the more and more I am realizing it truly was the best in the series. Even IF the Pokemon weren't my favorite (far from it), it was bold enough to go all in instead of peppering Gen 1/2 in hopes of making it better.

3689
Oh I stopped playing Oblivion because of the god awful character faces. Waaaay too distracting.

Morrowind was fine because of when it came out, but Oblivion just looked like shit.
Mods really help it, but back in 2006 I didn't think it was bad. Now, omg.

Depending on where you are in the game, buy the one in the Mt Moon pokemon center
I said I was playing X/Y...
