Even if every person in Florida had voted for Hillary, she still would have lost.

Trump has 306 Elec votes, everybody on the internet needs to stop blaming Florida, and they need to remember that Libertarians lean REPUBLICAN anyway, unlike Greens who lean Democrat.

If we don't stand up for a third party now, we will never break the two party system, which today has installed a single party in total control, reminiscent of Dictatorships.

The progress Gary Johnson made on his campaign is huge for our political system, and really means that sometime in our lives we may experience three major parties, which is in the interest of the american people.
That problem with that is the "win all take all" system the US has set up. It's not like the UK where you can win some percentage and pick up some seats. You just get a pat on the back and a  "you'll get em next time, tiger."

I highly doubt the two party system will break.

Why is it okay when blacks, women, illegals, Latinos, LGBTQ, welfare recipients, unions, etc. get together and vote as a block to advance their interests, but when white people do it, it is a form of racism?

Who said it's racist?

People on my facebook feed.
First mistake. Facebook is such cancer on either side, and it feels like it just drains the intelligence out of them. It's like /pol/ and Tumblr fucked and had a bastard child, and that's Facebook.
People I have on Facebook still think that Trump has absolute power over everything
Yeah, I can't stand it. Far right nuts, far left nuts, it all reallllly annoys me. It's a reason I stopped going to Facebook.

So you guys got chucklenuts for president. You've had a few of those before. People making it out like it's game over. You guys had a president who broke out into dance at a 911 ceremony. And you guys elected him twice.

Your country's still there in one piece despite bumps and scrapes along the way. I'd wager it'll be relatively the same for Trump, minus a few stupid decisions here or there, like all your previous presidents. Politicians are the masters of getting nothing done.
We elected him ONCE, but yeah. It's seriously not "over" like people are making it out to be. I'm honestly just glad it's over. I'm a bit worried about the Supreme Court, because I hope we don't get another Scalia (though with senators like mah boi Rand Paul winning, idk if that'd happen). I don't mind a conservative judge, but I at least want him to be removed from the politics and not be some religious nut.

Stay on topic and avoid the insults. Simmer down, folks.
Please just ban me.
I'd rather not. Just step away for a bit.

Here's a fun prospect: My oldest Internet friend (10+ years) could get fucking deported because he identifies as a Muslim.
Good, one less threat in America
Kill yourself.

Icy ban me before I say something worse.

Don't blame me, blame your friend for identifying with a hyper violent religion that's responsible for the deaths of millions

Oh
Yeah, just cool it. Emotions are high, I know, but let's try to just keep it civil. Don't egg him on.

Looks like Trump might win.

You know, I honestly don't think Trump being president will be as bad as people make it out to be. It's the constant bitching from people I run into every day that will be bad, and him winning meaning all the racism and xenophobia will only further validate the behavior in his supporters that got him there.

Basically, expect more racism/class divide.

but then, you have an increasing oligarchy in Clinton, and a democratic party that has shown it has rigged things in her favor

So I dunno man. I think we'll just be stuck here, but I expect actual citizens to just be more divided. That's why I'm deflated. I don't mind going against Clinton, I honestly get it. It's just the way Trump got there that bothered me. I really hope post election, if he wins, he unifies more than he divides like his campaign has been doing.

One of Hillarys largest campaign contributers owns the voting machines in 16 states but yeah

Except Smartmatic machines aren't being used in the 2016 election
Word?

http://dailycaller.com/2016/10/18/soros-connected-company-provides-voting-machines-in-16-states/

Quote
Its website includes a flow-chart that describes how the company has contributed to elections in the U.S. from 2006-2015

Quote
"Smartmatic will not be deploying its technology in any U.S. county for the upcoming 2016 U.S. Presidential elections"

Anything else?
> Linking a website to dispute opponents claim

> Doesn't even proofread it, as it actually only furthers the others claim

Both families (Trump and Clinton) have cast their ballots - as have Pence and Kaine. I'll delete PSU's account if you guess who they voted for.
My account is already being deleted once she hits 300.
And you're moving to Alaska.

Today be the day, and I saw my brother when I stopped by to vote. Annoyingly enough, he registered to vote in my district (twice) since he lives there now, but they still told him he has to vote where he used to vote in 2012 back when he was living elsewhere.

It's not a far ways away, like 20 mins, but it's still rather annoying. He waited in line, got there, got told nah go here.

I would say the normal soldiers were patriots. Keep in mind a lot of the message from the politicians in the south was twisted and warped. The normal soldiers more or less thought the North was trying to take them over, change their every day lives, etc. Why WOULDN'T you fight to preserve your generation upon generations of history? Remember that the common soldier was not a slave owner.

So yeah, I think the soldiers were patriots. However do I think the politicians who led the succession were? Absolutely not. They were traitors, and immoral people if you ask me, who made hundreds of thousands of Americans die to try and preserve something that was obvious to the rest of the world, was going away.

That's not to say everyone in the North was a saint though, because racism even till this day, can sometimes be more brutal in the north than the south.
