Tbh I probably would have preferred Vader being absent from the movie entirely.
The ending bit with Vader was the only outstanding part of the entire movie though. The planet scene was pretty good, but the ending topped it off to an otherwise boring movie.

DOTA 2. Don't see the appeal and don't get why its so popular. Seems so slow and boring. No story mode, the gameplay is akin to a Facebook game.
That's about every MOBA. Yep. I barely have fun playing League with my friends, but they're my friends, so. It's alright.

Nearly every team is.

HOLD MY BEER, I HAVE TO GO BEAT MY WIFE BECAUSE SHE KEEPS TELLING ME TO QUIET DOWN
Verb... You can like sports and not be a stereotypical bro-douche.
Nah man. Every single human who has ever liked a sport for a second automatically turns into a deplorable bro-esque type.
What if a woman likes sports? Does she beat the husband?

Dragon's Dogma.
Easily worth it. The combat is something that is outstanding and it's a shame more games don't do it. Story isn't amazing, but I found the whole concept behind it pretty great, especially the ending. But the bosses are epic.
Thanks for the suggestion. Just purchased it.
Let me know how you find it

But yeah, two things you never do on Facebook
1. Get into arguments about politics
2. Get into arguments about religion
You find out real fast which one of your family members or friends are either racist, or down the left rabbit hole.

Someone made a good post about if you're butt hurt over his 80's style one liner, you're an idiot. It's in this thread somewhere.
I am not butthurt over it, I just think it could have been executed better. Really the problem for me is the emphasis on choke. I'd need to see the movie again though.
I was more so speaking in general, not directly hating on you.

And Halo 6 looks to be packed with an obscene amount of content. I'm getting pretty sick of these mopey threads talking about how shitty Halo 4 was supposed to be, how boring Halo 5 is (hint: if you're bored in Halo 5, you're a boring fucking person and there's no fixing that), and how supposedly bad Halo 6 will be.
The irony is that most of these people now claiming Halo 5 is shallow can look fondly at their 200+ hours of shooting in a still-true technical benchmark with genre-defining mechanics. It's just silly. Halo 5 is, without debate, a ridiculously detailed, expansive, content-filled and organic game. There's a reason that the worst parts of the game are the scripted story pieces, and that's because the game absolutely succeeds at being multiplayer and Call of Duty-driven. I'm not even sure what the "depth of a puddle" is referring to. Surely it's not talking about the lore available in the game, or the hundreds of completely optional wiki pages, hundreds of entries followed by procedurally generated edits, or the thorough REQ system? Of course, the game isn't a character-driven vidya novella a la Half Life, but the series never claims to be such. It's a giant fucking multiplayer world with tons of stuff to do and tons of armor to unlock, and it kicks ass at it.

Did anyone else find Vader's pun groan worthy? I've been trying to figure out why I basically cringed at it, when he does joke a fair amount in all the other films. So I compared some of his other jokes lines;
to his Rogue One line (link will probably get copyright claimed);
And I dunno, I can't really put my finger on it. I think it's because it's like a self referential joke, something a fan would say but shouldn't actually be put to film. "Wouldn't it be cool if Darth Vader thought his choking ability was totally epic and funny?" It'd be like if the Emperor made some pun about Luke finding it "shocking" how much it hurt being electrified by him
I think the problem is that JEJ emphasized "choke" in the line. If it was just "be careful not to choke on your aspirations Director" delivered in his usual tone, that would've been better. Instead it was "be careful not to choke on your aspirations", which wasn't Vader's usual style.
Anakin always quips. As potato's video showed, he does it in the OT to. I think it's just people are looking for an excuse to dislike the movie. If you cringe at "Don't choke on your aspirations", you should also cringe at "I find your lack of faith disturbing."
here it is

How in kek did he get to fucking Italy?
He almost made it off the fucking continent.
This is what happens when you don't have any fucking borders.
It's also what happens when the EU countries don't share security to each other in as strong a manner as they should. You think they would after terrorism attacks. The US fixed their shit quickly after 9/11. It's a shock to me these governments don't work more together.

The settlements in the West Bank are condemnable, but honestly I don't see the point in the US abstaining. American policy/interests in the Middle East are going to be aligned with Israel regardless.
Because the US (at least the Obama administration) want a two state solution, and Israel pushing more settlements is undermining that entire thing.
