This game is very very fun, and the animations are insanely beautiful.

Some mechanics though in terms of animation can become very clunky and your actions don't exactly respond how you'd like at times. Your own teammates can be your own worst enemy as well. At least in 4v4.

So how'd you guys like that cake?

It was a goddamn lie.

Anyways, I'm towards the end myself and like Luci said it finally hits that good ol' Resident Evil feeling pretty damn late into the game, and I'm kind of getting sick of the bullet sponge bosses.  Otherwise, it's a decent game I'd say 6.5/10 right now.  Nothing too great, but not terrible either.  It just feels like something Capcom churned out to cash in on the success (and eventual cancellation) of Silent Hills/PT.
That maybe, but I also think Capcom finally realized just how far Resident Evil has strayed from the survival horror series it basically created. The last time I really got this feel from a triple A game was Dead Space in that it finally recalled a lot of the roots of what it means to be survival horror.

Of course Dead Space was more action oriented, but yeah. I think we should be lucky that indie devs have basically kept the genre alive, because it's been more or less non existent outside from a significant game or two every 6 years or so, since RE4 came to be. That's casting a wide net, but yeah.

I'm towards the very very end, and it feels more Resident Evil tier once you actually leave the mansion/swamp. Took a while, but yeah.

Kinda staying out of this thread to avoid spoilers, but I'll finish it up tomorrow. I've been waiting until night time so I can turn off all the lights and play for the full experience.

You should always remember to never EVER give your account to anyone. Ever. That's like the golden rule of the internet everyone knows.

Learn from this mistake. Get it back, change passwords or whatever, and don't give people your account info. I don't... understand why you'd do that. To get more likes or something with posts? Even I wouldn't give my account to the person I trust most from here.

Either way, you're trying too hard to make points. Just come here and relax and be an idiot like everyone else here, without making a big deal out of everything.

You're doing it again, Deci. A comment you could easily discard is blowing up into something bigger.

You could start by not getting so upset over the smallest thing and then making 4 threads asking what you should do about it, which only enables them to do it more.

I know it's weird, but sometimes IGNORING people is the best option. Especially since 99% of the posts are just joking in the first place.

That, and people trying to give you advice that you never take, even if you legit want to hear advice. No one can help you if YOU can't help yourself. I've dealt with two other people just like you, and one finally grew up and tried to change. The other is at least trying.

No, that wasn't a joke. You genuinely believed that and are now trying to play it off as a joke to try and save face.

Please god kill trump

I mean he is old and over weight, and excessive stress is known to kill fat old men.
how could you vote for trump

Because he is a businessman, he understands debt, I like that he's bringing production back to America, and we needed change. I have a lot of reasons.

He's the reason I got an interview at the local machine shop in the first place.

If the reason to ban me is because I voted for Trump, then you're going to have to ban everyone else that voted for Trump.

Its only fair.

Sounds good.

I'm waiting to see Trump make the US obviously pay for it, and somehow twist words that it's Mexico who did.

Also, he can't fund that wall unless Congress passes that resolution, correct?

But really though, throwing my Trump hate out for a second.

I just want to see the man stick to his promises and focus on the trade deals, infrastructure, and military force again. Those 3 things are things I agree with him on. He just brings a lot of baggage and annoyances. If he kept his mouth shut and let his work do the talking, his approval rating would easily increase incredibly fast.

Even if he's gonna do shit I know I will 100% disagree with (such as the whole coal thing), I want to at least give him a chance.

Trump's administration is having journalists that covered the riots on inauguration day charged with felonies, apparently

I'm sure it has some big connection to the others. I'm not sure how far along it's set though. Doesn't the original RE take place in the 90s? This game takes place at least in 2020. There was a date on something I found in the game from his girlfriend. Dated July 2017. And she's been missing three years, so it must be 2020. Also in the trailer you can see a cassette tape or VHS. It says Umbrella. There's also soldiers in the trailer.
I thought it was 2017 now, but maybe with the tape? Idk.

so is this game a literal fresh restart?

like, from what i can see, it has like zero involvement with the past games, like its characters and organizations and such... or just tryna forget everything

sorry if it doesn't make sense
Makes perfect sense. There are references from what I hear (not very far), but otherwise it's not directly related to 6 due to it not being... well, good. They wanted to really recapture that 'normal people in fucked up situations' feel that RE 1/2 had.

I have some solutions to you for your picture.

Turn to FXAA. SMAA/TAA make the picture quality VERY blurry. If you're suffering bad stuttering, think about turning down texture/mesh quality, as it greatly helps. Same with Volumetric Lighting. Also make sure your resolution scaling is at 1.0.

Went on reddit to figure a bunch of this out with people.

Otherwise yeah I'm enjoying it. It's a challenge.

After this impending mess, the democrats will control the government for a good 12-16 years uncontested
Doubt it

The GOP in 12-16 years will have transformed into a worker party which focuses more on trade and isolationist I think. Trump basically dissolved what the post Reagan Republican party is.

Democrats will probably still continue more left, albeit at a more radical pace since a progressive movement is rapidly taking over.
