It has a mediocre story.
I bet you liked Halo 3's and Reach's stories
3's wasn't great but it wasn't shit. Reach' seas pretty shit.
3's was pretty bad.
It was alright. Halo 4 easily had the best narrative of any of them. Reach's flaw was that Bungie didn't seem to realize that just because you show characters faces, it doesn't mean we'll suddenly care about them. Really the only development in that was Noble 6 and Jorge.
Reach's flaw was that it shit on the canon.
Last I checked the only canon they switched up was John Halo being on the planet and Spartan 3's having MJOLNIR armor, though Noble team was the only one to get it.

Regardless of the canon cutting, it also didn't feel like a real invasion at all the entire game. The only time it felt like a war was that one cutscene that lasted 20 seconds with all the Warthogs, and all the ships warping to Reach after Jorge was kill.

It's broken because Microsoft forced 343 to rush it and it was clearly unfinished.

Why are people defending games that are obviously broken, pushed, or mismanaged? I understand you enjoy the damn thing, but defending it hurts the game industry as a whole and encourages more of the same shitty practice.

John Halo is the master at pressing buttons to progress.
Shepard wins that title by far.

I only enjoy all the Halo games because I'm a huge fan boy lol

Gaming / Re: MW2 is objectively one of the worst CoDs
« on: February 19, 2015, 05:53:38 PM »
MW2 sucks. The only good Cods are MW, WaW and the Blops series.
Someone only played CoD when 4 was around.

Even though every other game I mentioned after 4 was later in the series.
I mean you started at 4 and continued onward, igit.
I have played every Cod except MW3. The first ones are mediocre at best.
How is CoD 2 mediocre? If anything it's the most intense one in terms of battlefield action.

I currently have three games pre-ordered, those being Dynasty warriors 8: empires, Bloodborne and Dks2 for PS4

I know that DW8:E is already good because of the Japanese reviews, and I know Dks2 is good because I have so many hours into it.

I'm taking a risk with Bloodborne, but I haven't been let down by big M yet.
Is empires worth the purchase? I already have Extreme Legends complete edition, is there anything that empires adds to the mix? >_>
The Empires version of the DW games from my understanding adds a lot. In Empires it focuses more on making a character and doing your own custom campaign, rising through the ranks and making your own faction.
Hmm that could be quite fun <.<
I'll take a closer look at it I think.
Empires adds a more tactical option to the DW series instead of objective based things. Things like managing your nation, map management, cards to use on the battlefield such as ambush, catapult, etc. Along with a list of other features.

Gaming / Re: Horror games are going down the pooper.
« on: February 19, 2015, 05:50:20 PM »
I honestly think horror games are making a come back. Resident Evil is realizing that 5 and 6 weren't exactly the way to go (6 was ew), indie devs are driving a lot of it such as Outlast and what not, and even the new Silent Hill game is looking great from the PT demo.

I think it was huge in the 90's, then fell in the 2000's decade, and is now slowly making a rise back up.

I always pictured Halo 4 as the bastard child of Halo that got way too influenced by Call of Duty. By that I mean the Multiplayer. It was a mess and the community showed that since it had the biggest and quickest drop off of any Halo ever.

As for the story, well I honestly think making John actually a character who talks was a good thing, but the level designs themselves were horrible. John Halo is the master at pressing buttons to progress.

I preordered Bloodborne

which is the first game I've preordered in like a year or so.

I'd only preorder very few games from series I know I can trust.

Though CoD 3 did have amazing music.

Serious / ISIS burned up to 40 people alive in Iraq, official says

Reports that ISIS burned alive up to 40 people near the town of al-Baghdadi in Iraq's massive Anbar province are true, an Iraqi official told CNN on Wednesday.

Anbar provincial council chairman Sabah Karkhout said he was advised by his field commanders near the al-Baghdadi front line that ISIS militants killed at least 40 police officers and tribesman, and that most of the victims were "burned to death."
Sooo can the whole world finally agree that ISIS is probably the worst thing to happen since the Nazi's and get a unified ground effort to exterminate them?

Even if this isn't true, they're KINDA bad, mk?

Only get it if you're playing with friends. While I don't think it's as good as Diablo 2, it is fun. It's arguable that it's even better on console since they added a dodge mechanic, didn't have the god awful auction house (which is now gone in PC I think), and something else I'm too lazy to explain.

Yeah really. Better engine and it literally brought over all L4D1 stuff for free.

I don't support it because it's been proven innocent people have been put to death. It's a flawed system in that regard. Plus, rotting for life in prison sounds like a war worse hell to me.

Because I draw the line at a single gainax.

My family and I went to Red Lobster. I had shrimp. Which is funny, because I'm actually a vegan, but I've heard in a few vegan circles that shrimp is fair game, because they're not sentient--they're basically just bugs. So there's that.
I think things like uhh... Highschool of the Dead was annoyingly much. Like the tits swaying with each bounce and individually. Like, when it gets to literally be too much, I just roll my eyes and go "really?" Once it breaks the natural physics (like, to an insane degree) is when I just think it's annoying.

As for the Red Lobster thing, well.. you heathen.

I loved that - not because it was enticing, but because the boob physics became hilarious after a while, culminating in the utter insanity that is bullet-time bullet-dodging boob swaying.
I hated it really. I don't find it attractive at all. Actually I kind of find it gross. Bouncing is fine but when they each have a life of their own, you can go fuck off Japan.

The Electorate College was never intended to be a permitted system, nor was our country intended to be running on a two party system like it still is.
Which is why I think voting is pointless in this country to a degree, because in the end both Democrat and Republican are two sides of the same coin. They don't offer anything different enough to even be different parties aside from how to spend money and social issues. Good for them.
