I'm sorry man.. I just don't feel any pain for killing him.
The only real "pain" I felt in the game was seeing Quelaag's sister. I didn't dare harm a hair on her and felt so sorry for her. Sif's backstory was sad after I learned it, and the limping and falling over he does makes me sad, simply because I love dogs, but the initial fight is something I don't get sad over. He annoyed me since I couldn't beat him the first 4 times.
Pretty much.

Yes.
Oh god, that was actually depressing to learn about.
Glad to see we're on the same page.

As much as I love the Souls games, the boss music never really got to me. Gwyn's and Allone's are probably the best ones, I'd say.

By that I mean that they fit the game and their respective fights very well, but none of the music was something I'd considering downloading or actually listen to outside of the game.
I felt a lot of the music I had to re-listen to on YouTube since I overlooked it a lot in DS 1/2 due to the action and noises.

It doesn't matter really since both suck now.

Last I checked, Noelle told me this new game is basically their final hope to get things back on track since GoW 3 and Cliffy B leaving.
Companies are there to make money, not lose it. Gears of War Judgement was a failure sales wise, compared to the other games, and a failure in keeping a player base. Not even a year after release and it had low numbers of people in multiplayer. Gears 3 still consistently has 6,000+ players online. Microsoft just spent a lot of money acquiring the franchise. They are not going to repeat what they have seen as a failure, they are going to go for what they see people want, which is Gears 3.
I sure hope so. I won't be getting it since I don't have an Xbone, but every GoW game (1-3) I've played, I really enjoyed. The atmosphere, mechanics, and VASTLY underrated music are all great. I hope it gets back on track because it really is a good series with amazing lore. I just wish they'd explore that lore more so.

Gears of Mediocre Franchise
Gears is a better franchise than Halo. Sorry to upset you.
I know you're saying that to make Lemon mad but...really?

And Halo is just... well, you know that flash game Corruption of Champions and there is that bit where the women are wired to sex machines and constantly extracted of fluids and what not?

That's Halo.

If we're actually counting it, Cynthia from Black and White 1 was really freaking hard.

That severe level jump after the Elite 4 was just massively difficult to get into, and beating Cynthia actually felt like a real victory for me that I struggled with. Really helped my opinion that she's the best champion in the series.

Attempt implies that I failed.

^ She has good opinions. I just honestly forgot about it cuz I was listening to Alonne.

Anyway, as much as we all have opinions, this is easily the best one. Like, not even opinion.

« on: March 03, 2015, 06:06:29 PM »
You know, if ISIS is good for one thing, it's that they've united otherwise common enemies towards a bigger threat.
All these smaller factions represent different threat levels to different people.

The Shia forces of Iraq and Iran have a bad habit of depopulating "liberated" Sunni towns, and allowing new Shia residents to inhabit the homes. America has made a pretty big mistake here, by not intervening soon enough to protect the local Sunnis against ISIS, and essentially cooperating with Iran. We've already lost the war for hearts and minds there. We may have lost Iraq to Iranian influence altogether.
Hmm... Well if that is true, that is most unfortunate. Yeah, I think America should have intervened sooner with actual boots. But I want them to be united and not alone like before. The other western countries (I already know England would be on board. They always are) should also support this and realize how bad it is.

IS is executing anyone running away.
Just like our wonderful so called ally in WW2.
You know that was a gross exaggeration, right? Not saying they didn't threaten them with death, but Russia wasn't this whole entire "YOU LEAVE YOU DIE! YOU SAVE COMRADE AND DISOBEY ORDERS?! YOU DIE!"

Dark Souls 1 is Ornstein and Smough for me. I just love the tune for such an intense battle.

YouTube

Dark Souls 2 is Sir Alonne. The original OST's for Dark Souls 2 were honestly unmemorable to me, the the DLC really got their act together and I think this song is one of the best in Souls series PERIOD. Not just Dark Souls 2.

YouTube

That was my favorite until I played the DLC
As in until you fought him? I couldn't beat him to save my life, but then one day I just go "screw it lets try" and my brother pops in and watches.

Beat him first try ,-,

Dark Souls 2 basically made the ending to Dark Souls 1 worthless because 'lol cycles' and that bothered me.

I refused to have that as canon.

They also COMPLETELY DROPPED the main thing that made the debate of whether or not dark was good or not and if you could survive in it, and that WAS THE ABYSS!!!!!!

Completely gone from DS2 and just that retarded cycle.

Actually Scholar of the First Sin fixes that.
It fixes the terrible ending DS2 had. It just makes YOU personally break the cycle, not everyone else. It also never address the Abyss in the slightest. I even remember the devs saying the Scholar was gonna be someone from Dark Souls 1, and then lol nope, just Aldia.

So now that dragon at Dragon's Keep is just some random fuck.

12473
Rome 2 will never fix because the units breaking formations and the animations for fighting. Which is a damn shame because it honestly looks soooo good, and the things they do right, THEY DO RIGHT.

It's all the other bad crap that just holds it back.

« on: March 02, 2015, 11:08:12 PM »
Not gonna lie, because I didn't play Halo 1 first (I played 2 first) I was thankfully blessed with not having those nostalgia glasses.

I thought the campaign levels were boring as hell, the mechanics were clunky such as melee (but it was the first entry to I can forgive that), and the story was just... boring. Halo 2 is when they actually introduced the real universe.

Still, the music to Halo 1 is obviously amazing, and for 2001 that's pretty damn cool. However, that doesn't stop me from thinking the game is overall boring as hell and the gameplay mechanics drive me absolutely insane.

This feels oddly similar to a youtube comment chain I'm currently trolling in. Apparently atheists get upset when you tell them God made them wrong just to send them to Hell lol
you're telling them god made them retarded lol

You should see this comment chain, it's too good. I don't know how they haven't picked up on my trolling yet, this is too easy.

I gotta remember this for the future.

The US sounds like a scary place

You certainly never get things like this in the news here
If you aren't a white male in the middle class, then yeah it kinda is.

For good reason though, minorities are the problem.
And women voting is bad, mk?
