I used to say "Coal-Burt" instead of "Coal-bear" for Stephen Colbert.
That's actually how you really say his last name.

Destiny and Paul McCartney

Two of the most overrated things ever in the same place.
I think Destiny is more notorious if anything

12405
I said Tifa from FF7 as "Ti-fa" instead of "Tee-fa"

Same with Yuffie. Said it as "Yuff-e" instead of "Yoo-fe"

What's the problem with Bethesda making another Fallout? Fallout 3 was a fantastic game, so was New Vegas. It's the same problem people have with Skyrim. Sure they got rid of features but at the end of the day it's still an enjoyable game.
Settling for less than what we got before is the sign of a cancerous faggot who should stop playing video games.

It's why as much as I still had fun with Dark Souls 2, I would never want the B team to make a Souls game ever again.
I agree with this DS thing.

and having hardly anything to do with the original games?
Now see, this one I feel should be defended. My argument on it is of course it wouldn't, because it takes place 2000 miles to the east. I appreciate the direction change since every other Fallout was in California/Nevada (NV), so I think of course there wouldn't be as much related. Though the Enclave from Fallout 2 running over and popping up in 3 was cool, though those guys were just evil.
I'm not talking about location. With New Vegas it makes references to the games by people, weapons and dialog. Fallout 3 on the other hand doesn't. It simply is based off of the lore and doesn't reference the things NV does. The only reference that I know of that game does is Harold.
Harold, Enclave, President Richardson, and a few other things.

It shouldn't have to be so connected since all that stuff happened so far away. Naturally it wouldn't immediately be felt 2000 miles away.

The first time I played 3 was before NV was even out and my initial reaction was struggling to even get through the game. I still can't even bring myself to even finish it because I get bored. NV was far easier for me to latch onto.
I can understand why.

It's not even that hard of a song. If you practice with a metronome for hours a day not working on writing GOOD music, you can wank like a pro.

I'm playing a game that's like, a decade old, and I still wouldn't appreciate it if the plot details were spoiled for me. <_<
Well yeah of course, same here. I'm just saying you shouldn't be surprised if there is :P

Not that I care about Gears of War, but isn't posting spoilers in the title kind of a dick move? I mean, whatever, I know it's an old game, but still.
It's been over 3 years. I think it's okay to post them now.

Well they took the right approach to not release a new game every other year like Guitar Hero did. Looking forward to it.

But Skyrim's mechanics are better than Oblivion's... What? That is how sequels work.

You do realize that the statistics of using guns to defend your home, compared to them being used as an assault weapon and murder, is completely lopsided right?

Like, pro gun or not, you should at least learn before using some examples.

Both of you should be quiet.

Also, using 'liberal' as an insult is rather stupid.

After I played Fallout 1 and 2, I preferred NV far more than 3 since it went more in depth with gameplay mechanics (as a sequel should. I don't think that harms Fallout 3's argument) and the story they had.

However I still enjoy Fallout 3. Honestly I think the hate it gets is rather silly in the grand scheme of things. People forget it revived the series and wasn't that bad. I guarantee you anyway who played it when it was first around and beat it and all that didn't sit there and say "THIS SUCKS!"

then go to NV and go "THIS IS AMAZING!"

I think opinions changed over time.
Fallout 3 actually had a world I cared about exploring. It had such an amazing and lonely atmosphere. There were so many random areas to explore that were actually interesting.

In New Vegas, I enjoyed exploring, but everything felt the same. Everywhere I go I am going to run into some NCR soldiers. The area felt pretty small because of how spread out the NCR was.
I think Fallout 3's world was more fun to explore, yes. Mainly because of the change and not the same desert all the time.

But hey, Fallout 3 didn't have Cazadors either, so ya know...
