You lose money if you lose a pokemon battle in souls you lose souls if you die, which is currency. That can easily be taken back by either going back to where you died, or just farm for more souls. So in that regard, it's the same thing. Not agreeing or disagreeing (god forbid) on the moral thing, Just letting you know how the mechanics actually work before you go on a ranting spree.

Let those guys make a new IP and keep it like the original 2 were.

3 was the best of em, it had more focus on the characters/story and the gameplay was perfect.
If you played the games because they were horror then you probably should rethink how you approach games.

Well as far as I remember Oblivion, Fallout 3 and New Vegas were a lot buggier on ps3 compared to 360 and pc.

I dunno I kinda hope they have a better engine as unlikely as it is. Just because the movement, aiming and melee combat is so shit on that engine and it's predecessors haha
