If only Witch Doctor was good. :'^(

Everything else outclasses him.
He's really only good for support and degrading health on tanky bosses.

Question for you two or anyone else who plays, how's the customization? Like is there much armor diversity looks wise? A dye system? Anything like that? Or does every white Mage run around in the same white and red robe?
There is a dye system, yes.

Germany woulda lost WW1 without 'Murica's help anyway. They were running out of everything and their citizens were tired of war and going crazy and blah blah some other shit.

France is the ones that also helped America win the Revo War.

Now compare it to today? Well they have a better economy, healthcare, human rights, a working government, etc etc.

Glad to know this ain't really a serious thread.

I tried Monk, Barbarian, and Witch Doctor.

I always like tank characters in games (Gunzerker in BL2 made me realize this) so I really liked Barbarian the best.

It's on console?

Another game on my list...
Yep, people on PC, PS3, and Ps4 can all play together too.
The future is here!

Spoiler
I know other games have done that before >.>
Be warned that the worst is PS3's (obviously). They stopped adding additional support to it.

Actually.. America's culture is what exactly? I think our culture is shit.. We won't allow ourselves to have one, unique, genuine culture.. and this melting pot has and is proven to be a failure.
Rome had the same kinda melting pot culture and everyone circle jerks over them.

I dunno why anyone would wanna move to Japan. It's culture is really fucking shit if you actually take your time to look outside anime and realize what's going on.
my big concern with japan is industry pollution in the cities + population density. learning how to move around a city like tokyo would make me go into culture shock all on its own
Yeah it's ridiculous. But aside from being some white blond haired person that would draw attention there, people would really just not like you. That and Japanese is a hard as hell language to learn. I'd rather move to a country that actually has English as a dominant language. UK, Canada, Australia, etc.

I enjoy it heavily. Just taking a break right now as new games come out, but I really really like it. It's a great game for any long time FF fan and probably one of the better MMO's on the market right now. Music is amazing obviously, they basically make grinding not a factor like a lot of MMO's because you can choose different classes for one character (and it gives you 50% extra XP when you do a new class, and slowly drops down as you reach the level of your leading one), and various other things.

If you play it though, just be ready for monthly payment.
what class do you play? Would you recommend it to somebody who has very little MMO experience?
My lead is an archer (now a bard) because I made a delicious high elf with a typo in my name.

Spoiler

As for your other question, I don't play many MMO's but still enjoyed it. The combat is flashy and fun, music great, main story somewhat engaging (like that matters), and the world is beautiful. You can always look up some gameplay.

I think rapes are put in TV shows and movies to give a curious boner to men.

Because Hollywood supports rape.
a lot of the hentai i come across is "forced." like, kinda... really rapey... i dont know why. but its kinda hot.

am... am i rape culture?

brb checking my privilege
It just plays into the desire of complete domination. It's insanely common and not special at all.

Gaming / Re: Is Civ V worth getting into?
« on: March 20, 2015, 12:58:23 AM »
Disregarding Verb's esteemed post, I've played Civ 4, Rev, and a little of 5. 5 being the best one.

If you like the idea of a strategy board game then go ahead. It's also a pretty cool way to learn some history (encyclopedia on it, wonders description, etc). If you get it, be prepared to actually take the time to learn how to play, and invest many hours into a single playthrough. The games can take quite a bit.

I personally think the series is great. You can always try the demo they have available too, which I'd honestly recommend. If you like it, than get it. $12.50 is a steal for that game.

Or just do research and vote for who you actually support. I know that's a lot to ask though.

Feeling pretty good about the game. Has a few negatives. Combat takes some getting used to. I'm a fan of the turned based games so this was a bit of a change. The camera needs some works. Very easy to lose faster enemies in combat, or get caught on allies in smaller spaces. Can get frantic and frustrating at times when you're still learning the flow and your team is getting slapped around. That and poison is a major bitch.

The only other negative is the mountain region and the long rock walls that force you to detour for half an hour across the entire map just to get to a point on the otherside. Very annoying. The plains and marshes are much better.

Game is fun and gorgeous though. Once you learn your moves the combat gets a lot smoother and less button mashy. Summons are AMAZING.  :o Holy shit. Ramuh rekts everything nearby including the forest.

Also Cindy is best gurl.

From here just gonna finish up side quests and find the easter eggs. Got type-0 to play through and still need to wrap up X and X2 HD.
oh gosh I am super hyyyyped for it, it looks awesomesauce

Make sure you try the glitch to get out of bounds of the map to explore some more, if you want.

YouTube

And now I wanna try that...

Did you watch the anime or the Movies? If so, everyone suggests you move to the manga because the movies skip over so much shit, but it's bogged down because the creator doesn't want to do it anymore. Too busy playing Idol Masters.
