I mean, I'm proud of all the scientific advances our country has made, and the sheer military power we have (though I dislike stupid wars oddly enough, but a deterrent is a deterrent still). And we always strive to be one of the best in the world at shit, even if we're horrible at it. And the support we nationally to things like sports teams or soldiers (even if we buttfuck em super hard).

I dislike a lot of our country, but the first step to solving problems is recognizing their is one.

That's not to say we don't have a lot of brainwashed idiots with American Exceptionalism either.

Lol, yeah no. Sounds like a Tea Party member uploaded this.

like to remind everybody that there was no Civil War.
Just another American Revolution.
You're a special person, you know that? Do us a favor and look up the definition of 'civil war'.

Been a while since I saw the Republicans standing up to clap enthusiastically. Back when they weren't a bunch of crazies.

Oh right, I forgot that they actually voiced names. Well hopefully Luci/Lucy is in it. If not, then Lucina works.

It's true

How can you compare the two at all? They're not remotely similar other than the name.

] :-\ ye but its gonna be. She would've beat obama in '08 had flordia and michigan not jacked things up with their primaries. I want Sanders, but numbers are on the wall.
Sanders is too liberal to fly with everyone else and the swing voters.
I think he'll surprise people. He's drawing the largest crowds atm. Some 5k came to see him in Colorado.
But will he be able to beat the giant that is Hilary?
Between the email and Benghazi scandals, I think it's pretty clear how the media (and by extension how the public) feels about Hildog.

It still won't be Sanders though, just because a lot of his campaigning doesn't resonate over various social and political beliefs.
The email and Benghazi thing are deals blown way out of proportion by Republicans. Actually, Obama gets constantly blamed for Benghazi.

What a terrible last name. Anyone with this last name should get out of England right away and come to America at *insert my address*

What will your girlfriend say when all those McKenzies show up at the door?
I have a girlfriend?

Pretty much

You guys should learn that both parties are similar in the end due to the horseshoe theory anyway, and both are obstructionist, loud mouthed idiots.

No one party is guilty than the other.
Horseshoe theory only applies to radical groups of two opposing parties

Yes, they suceeded because Abraham 'Stalin' Lincoln was trying to oppress their rights. Not slavery at all.

Obama basically said the same things.
To be fair, Obama always supported gay rights and civil unions. He started supporting same-sex marriage after he realized how much it meant to them. It's not like he completely 180 spun his stance to appeal to a voter base like some will claim. I'm sure it's the same deal for Hillary.
At the end of the day they're all probably doing it to be on the right side of history. Civil rights always results in the same thing for the people trying to deny it.

And technically, Rome made the dictator the dictator for life.

Caesar literally coined the term "dictator" as a negative.

WHO'S READY FOR HILLDOG 2016

SO PROGRESSIVE
Yep, that's exactly why I'll never vote for her. All of her evolution on her positions has been in the last 5 years or so.
Obama basically said the same things.

And Hilary tried to make nationalized health care back in the 90's but congress laughed her out.

And the final straw was when they actually elected a dictator president.
People often forget that Lincoln's middle name was Stalin. History has a way of hiding the truth.

Part of me wishes a republican wins the next election so democrats can be just as disrespectful to him as republicans were to obama, then they can go cry about conservative persecution
You don't want a republican winning office, trust me. I wouldn't mind the candidates if 97% of them weren't ass backwards in so many ways. I can only think of like 2, maybe 3 of the.. what, 16 candidates running, that are actually decent.
Regardless the next president will essentially decide whether the supreme court is conservative or liberal for the next couple decades. Not sure if I'd give that up just for the sake of some pettiness.
They just ruled against lethal injections which seemed to make people gasp in pain for 15 mins before dying.

I don't consider myself a liberal, but I think a more liberal Supreme Court might do some good. Still, that place needs term limits. It's arguably the strongest branch of the government because what they say, goes.
Ye. Kennedy is definitely more powerful than the president at this point. Not sure on how I'd feel about term limits there tho. You need some sort of steady hand in govt. Musical chairs when it comes to the highest court in the land doesn't sound like a good idea to me.
Eh... okay, yeah I didn't really think of it like that. Still though, let's just pull a Rome then and make the President dictator for life.
