*Ahem*

Fallout 3 was good. Skyrim still sets the benchmark for modern gaming.

Ohhh right. I don't follow La Liga because it's literally 2 teams and 18 fuck faces, so yeah.
2 teams?
2 TEAMS?!

You literally can't say that anymore with Atletico Madrid winning the title in 2014. They just sold a massive chunk of stock to some Chinese company as well, so they got that spending money. They beat Madrid 4 consecutive times this season including the 4-0 demolition in January.

Valencia for crying out loud won 1 and drew 1 against Madrid and were just bought out by a billionaire who is assuming all debt and resuming work on their new stadium. That was literally the only thing holding them back from becoming true contenders once again.

Fuckin Sevilla man, FUCKIN SEVILLA! Dat heart. 5 SPANISH CLUBS IN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE.

O LE LE
O LA LA
SER DEL BARCA ES
EL MILLOR QUE HI HA
Yeah I guess but... come on. It's still massively tipped in their favor. Do you really see it being as competitive as the EPL or MLS anytime soon? Maybe in 5 years time, but not now.

We really need a soccer/football thread. It's fun to find someone as passionate about the sport as I am.

I'm not sure what that means lol
I mean that's exactly what I think about all mentioned sports in your post, like exactly. Hell, I pay for a latino package of TV channels to save money and get muh La Liga without paying for all the usual American sports broadcasters. It's fuckin great.

And holy shit, we went way off topic.
Ohhh right. I don't follow La Liga because it's literally 2 teams and 18 fuck faces, so yeah.

But still, I want it again.

personally can't stand baseball because nothing is consistently happening. It's the same reason I'm finding American football more and more boring as well. Only 7 seconds of action and then commercial breaks. It's literally America in a nutshell with the horrible advertising. It's why I enjoy watching basketball more so now too. I like a sport where there isn't constant stopping and things can change in an instant.
It's like I'm standing in front t of a mirror.
I'm not sure what that means lol

All I know is that they had to speed up baseball because it was taking so long, American's on average are moving away from the sport, and other sports are rising. I blame that on the internet and how connected it has made us with the rest of the world.

Sorry for the long video posting, but I am very passionate about it. Anyone who thinks American's don't enjoy the sport really are stupid and living in the 90's. There is more than enough evidence that Americans love the sport.

Baseball is great though
This

Its America's Pastime so fuck soccer
>Americans
>don't like one sport because it's "boring"
>likes another sport that is ten times more boring

dafuq
The newer generation (our generation) feels the same way you do. It's what is fueling the sport over here. Those people who grew up in the 90's and late 80's, now old enough to have kids, are attending the games and bringing their kids to it as well.

I personally can't stand baseball because nothing is consistently happening. It's the same reason I'm finding American football more and more boring as well. The average age for a baseball fan at this point is in their 50's, and attendance is just below/on par with soccer attendances for MLS games.

It's fallen out of favor with our generation in favor of American football and soccer.
Average age is 50s? Lol nah, I see mostly young people in the stands and on sports pages talking about it.
"The baseball audience is old and getting older: "The average World Series viewer this year is 54.4 years old, according to Nielsen, the media research firm. The trend line is heading north: The average age was 49.9 in 2009"

http://awfulannouncing.com/2013/kids-aren-t-watching-baseball-but-why.html

Quote
Attendance is only poor at Marlins, Rays, and Phillies games because those are the worst teams with the worst fanbases. Games will get around 30-40k in attendance at every other stadium. Dodger Stadium nearly sells out every game with around 50k people.
"League Baseball's regular season ended on Sunday and with it, paid attendance for the league (the number of tickets sold) came in at 73,739,622 with average attendance per game at 30,346"

http://www.forbes.com/sites/maurybrown/2014/09/29/winners-and-losers-mlb-attendance-in-2014-nearly-74-million-through-the-gate/

I'll give you that one, though since there are so many games (192 or something), it feels like most, if not all really don't matter. Still, your point wins.

Quote
Soccer is only important during the World Cup apparently and football is always gonna get the most attention no matter what.
True football in America will always get the most attention. That's the main sport and will be for a long time. But it doesn't only matter every 4 years, and a lot of Americans feel that way. There is a reason many European teams (primarily English ones) come over here for friendly matches. They see the investment in American fans, and we provide better EPL (English Premier League) coverage for matches every Saturday, than even England does for the most part.

As for the domestic league and the fans, well look.

Really, I could go on. The fact that you think it matters every 4 years only shows your ignorance on the issue.

It's great to play, duh, but you can't tell me it's really fun to watch on TV. It's too slow. Like American football honestly the more I watch soccer.

That's why this year they had to speed up the pitcher getting on the damn mound because it took too damn long.

Look, all I'm saying is that with soccer rising, that whole "it's not American" is a fucking joke and those guys at ESPN need to get their heads out of their asses. It matters more than just every 4 years.

It really does annoy me actually. The only highlights are of Messi or Ronaldo (rightfully so I guess) making goals. One time they showed an MLS game but it was the sprinklers coming on mid-game, and then proceeded to laugh and show no in game highlights.
I don't know if you knew this already, but they usually play it on ESPN2.
I'm a massive soccer fan, I am well aware. Thanks though! Still, I mean, if Sportscenter covers all the horrible baseball highlights, why not a HIGHLIGHT OR TWO FROM YOUR OWN DOMESTIC LEAGUE, HUH?!

But it's filled with the same old American snobs who think it's too "European" and "boring".

They say as they get wet over baseball, golf, tennis, and poker.

Why would any black person ever run republican?
Some things the republicans stand for (or at least classic ones) isn't too bad, such as eliminating Affirmative Action.

The voter ID law isn't bad either if you put aside the sudden leftist "IT'S STOPPING BLACKS! RACIST!" thing. Though that's not "old republicans" really.

Meanwhile, you can catch the latest Poker matches and Spelling Bees on ESPN
pretty sure that was colin cowherd. who is now no longer with ESPN. lol
ESPN is a joke anyway. It's full of American retards who won't even so much as cover soccer, which is insanely popular now in this country. They are the typical last general that just goes "lol soccer" and ignores it.

It really does annoy me actually. The only highlights are of Messi or Ronaldo (rightfully so I guess) making goals. One time they showed an MLS game but it was the sprinklers coming on mid-game, and then proceeded to laugh and show no in game highlights.

Ever since the point was brought up (if I could find the vid, I'd link it), I find it silly people ask this. No one in the Esport community is even TRYING to legitimize it as a sport, they don't need to. As long as the revenue keeps coming the way it does, and it attracts an audience, it could be called "GAYMEZ FRENZY" and no one would give a damn.

It's very odd people outside of it try so hard to make it seem less of something than what it is, by saying it's not a sport, or others trying so hard to find a category for it to fit in.

The people in the Esports community don't care, and neither should you. Move along.

Can't stand it, it's just so boring to play and doesn't feel unique at all.
It is VERY repetitive
