Honestly, like Gopher pointed out with skills, it was literally as basic as you can get in an RPG game. So them doing something different isn't TOO bad.
On that note, the game will have personality too for anyone who's afraid of Skyrim's crap. I feel the only game that didn't have it that Bethesda did was Skyrim, because it seemed they were all about "muh graphics" and "3D items/puzzles". Fallout 3's companions compared to Skyrim's makes it clear which they got more humor, wit, and depth out of.

I've been playing BF4 on the PC. Haven't play BF since BF3 on the 360.
Man I forgot how it makes it feel like you're in a real warzone, and how CoD can't replicate that.
Still, I hope the next main installment of BF goes back to their more original stuff and not just the "CoD alternative/killer" thing they've been trying since 3 (but mostly 4).
