I meant the story :P

And the mechanics of Halo 1 pissed me off a lot too, but that's just age. I'm aware how good it was at the time.

But to follow up what you said, how would he even do Metal Gear Solid 1 with Big Boss around? That seems... odd. Unless you meant Metal Gear 1/2 to bring it all around.

What if TPP had MG1 redone in the FOX engine at the end?

Then it'd properly end where it began.

That's what everyone was hoping Kojima would do after TPP (remake MG1/2~MGS4, like he planned)

Then the Konaminati came around, and well...
He planned the original remakes? God that sucks. We'll probably get it, but not have that same magic.

3 is the worst in the franchise.
That's not how you say Halo 1 or Halo 4

how does pressing X a few times equal bad gameplay
> A few times

I'm talking about bad level design and pacing on how you advanced

Anyway, I can bitch about this in a Halo thread, not glorious MGS. Let's talk about convoluted lore instead.

I have, but I meant the pacing and design of the levels.

Never before have a pushed a button so many times to advance.

I could never get past the first few minutes of FO1.

Vastly prefer the gameplay of the newer ones.
It takes more than a few mins to get into, silly. I hope you weren't expecting FO3/NV style of gameplay when you got it.

I lost no one, mainly because other than that one companion in the beginning you get, I traveled alone.

Implying any of the Halo games really have amazing storytelling. Halo 2 was the only one bungie did that was great

and Halo 4's was okay bar the ending, but the gameplay itself was shit.

Next you'll tell me Halo 4 set the benchmark for modern gaming

Big Boss was always more dynamic anyway

but yeah, seeing Snake slowly die off in MGS4 was very sad, and he lost all the charisma he had in MGS2 (rightfully so I guess since he's almost dead).

I like it really because like Eva said, Ocelot loves Big Boss and would do anything to try and make his goal a reality.

Though I don't understand why he and Eva conflict with one another, it confuses me.

They have conflicting ideas as to what Big Boss wanted. Both knew he wanted a world where soldiers would be appreciated, but Ocelot had a much more brutal and extreme end goal in mind than Eva, one that would put him in control of the planet.

Also, Ocelot tried to kill her surrogate son. That'd put a twist in any parent's panties.
I suppose so yeah. Still, I guess Ocelot went batshit crazy in the end. Much like Big Boss did at the end of his life (MG2).

Where is this from?

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

It's literally "Meme: The Game".

Best reaction.

Seriously though, that was amazing, I can't stop smiling.

My friend just bought the HD collection, so we're going through them in chronological order.  Movement is clunky as fuck.
How hard are the games, if you know?
They're not that hard if you have a grasp on what you're doing.

This is the only MGS thread I see, so I'm posting this here.

Pretty big difference. Console version looks so washed out. I hate to think what it looks like on Xbone (probably the same as PS4).
Have you seen the PS360 versions?
No, but if you wanna link em, go ahead. I already know they look shit.

« on: August 08, 2015, 07:40:16 AM »
I dunno who won (probably either Kasich or Christie for me), but I think the surprise person was easily Ben Carson.

What makes it even more significant is he's an amateur amongst professionals (minus Trumph), and that says something.

Bush to me came off as... plain and aloof.

And yeah, if Rubio won the ticket, Dems would be scared as hell. It'd literally be Obama v McCain, but with the script flipped.

11249
look at Bloodborne.  Is anyone still talking about that?
Plenty. It was a great game. Had great themes and art style. Biggest complaint I had about the game was that I had no reason to do another playthrough directly after I played through it the first time.
Exactly how I felt

that and lack of cosplay. Everyone looks the same.

Skill resets

Back stab animation (I know it'll be instant like DS1)

and the front shield break. I felt that kept shield spamming idgits at bay.

Also PvP arena's like in DS2. They were implemented on the DLC of DS1, so hopefully we'll get that.

Red Eye orb for infinite invading as well
