Gas Snake

shoulda been Solidus's real name.
I actually agree. It really bothers me that they didn't go with that. As stupid as it sounds.
They both would sound shit anyway.

So your own personal feelings dictate the rules of love? Right, I gotcha.

I think I know how Verb always feels on a lot of issues now.

If anything, old man Ocelot wants Solid Snake anyway, seeing as he kisses him on the cheek in MGS4.
literally BB's clone, albeit with Eva DNA in there.
jesus christ

we've hit fan fic tier in this thread

The real question we should be asking is if there are more doujins of Liquid and Solid since Liquid is all up in his "BROTHERSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS" face all the time.

Edit: You're getting on me about kisses, yet you're speculating Ocelot is gay because of his admiration for Big Boss.

Come on ~.~

You guys are all caught up on affection, that is as blatant as you can get. Easter egg or no.

Jack definitely loved the boss. TPP confirmes that in random dialogue via motherbase.

And not only that, but deeper feelings of love is still love.
But it's clear it wasn't romantic like a husband and wife would feel for each other. Deeper doesn't mean he loves her romantically. It means he couldn't go on without her. She was what made him who he is.

On another note, I can't keep track of all these Snakes anymore. You fuckers need to change your names and be more original. It's almost as bad as all the nicknames in game.

Punished Snake
Venom Snake
Naked Snake
Solid Snake
Liquid Snake
Solidus Snake

Half sound like nicknames for a dick anyway.

"She rode me all night. Made it a punished snake~"

or something horrible

He sees Naked Snake like Naked Snake saw The Boss.
So the feelings he has for Big Boss are deeper than love? Right.
You do realize when he said deeper than love, he meant she is basically his other half. Even in MGS 4 he said he died the day he killed her.

She was the drive that made him get through his mission, get through training, get through a lot of shit.

Ocelot was the same way in regards to BB.

I don't understand why a lot of you are trying to label left and right anyway. Does everything in life need labels anyway?

That doesn't mean he's gay.

ho yay is the worst trope in the universe

"THEY LOOKED AT EACH OTHER!!1 OBVUS SESHAUL TENSHUN!!!!1"
He turns his back on the people who raised him and taught him everything he knows because he couldn't resist the urge of Big Boss. Literally everything in MGS3 is him trying to get Big Boss to like/respect him, then everything after that (chronologically) is him fellating every word BB ever said and trying to carry out his plans postmortem.
I think you guys are reading too much into that. He sees Naked Snake like Naked Snake saw The Boss. He idolizes him and worships everything he did (Eva says as much in MGS4). Same with Big Boss until the very ending of Peace Walker and her decision (which was stupid to me. But I guess that's where we see him go "bad").

If The Boss was a male as well, people would be saying the same thing.

So I re-did the first mission to get the butterfly emblem for raisins

Spoiler
And the pilot said Ahab. I'm surprised he did.

Finally played again today after 2 days of a break. Blame Skyrim modding, it's so fun.

Anyway, most recent mission was escorting those African kids. Now I know what missionaries feel like.

Well you kinda just turned the game into EZ mode, so...

Level up the armor you want. If you want to tank, level up the Giants Armor and become Giant Dad.

Or Havel's set.

As for leveling up, I wouldn't do it too much. You're gonna kill your game entirely if you do.

PC version, right? That's a known problem. :/

...Kind of funny because the rest of the game runs so well.
Yeah, just waiting for an update

Dinklebot is better I think, mainly because of his sarcastic undertone for some stuff

still, like others said, bad writing.

I have a question. It's spoiler heavy so click at your own warning.

Spoiler
Can you get a Big Boss skin for the game? Like the REAL one? The two string eye patch (not the 3), no horn, face tearing, etc?

Spoiler
There is an Ishmael (real Big Boss) skin in the game (Ground Zeroes skin, no horn, two strap eye-patch), but it's not available to us. I presume it'll either be DLC or it will never see the light of day.
Oh fuck that. Well whatever, we have mods on PC.

Dragon's Dogma seems really cool

And really bad at the same time.
The combat is one thing that is above and beyond almost any other game in the genre. It's held back by a few things (such as graphics and some mechanical things), but since it's on PC now, we can expect mods. Lots and lots of mods.

Hopefully mods that add

-Fast Travel
-Random enemies in different places
-Pawns that will SHUT UP.
-And a better story.

Gameplay looks awesome though.
The story is very good though if you get past some parts.

And there is fast travel. Dark Arisen makes it much easier so that it doesn't cost shit tons of money to.

How the hell he gets that horn out of his head. He doesn't have it in Metal Gear 2. Either he filed it down or they'll retcon it.

Just give China about 20 more years and we'll see another Cold War. America likes to see them as foes rather than a friendly rival.

If China and America could actually work together as global powers, it'd be beneficial to everyone. But as the Cold War has shown, two superpowers never get along because of influence.
