I don't think Dragon Ball can be adapted to live action period tbh

Not really a fan of what happened to Doran Martell

He had a big plan in the books that was getting built up and he did next to nothing in the show and now he's gone

I already got a warning 12 posts in during my time on there LMAO
What were you posting?
There's a thread with the title "Biggest detriment to society right now?" and I put "Black people" jokingly and not meant to be taken seriously because of other posts in that thread.

My post got removed and I got a PM from one of the mods.
It's cute that Madmaxepic said their site will outlive all other Bnet offsites when their rules are that strict. I don't see a site containing and getting many new members when they warn people for making a insult in an insult thread and making posts for saying the site needs work. What also puts a nail in their coffin is that Max person is extremely religious and he's a mod for their site. I have a feeling that anybody makes a post which goes against his views is either going to get warned or banned.
I'm not a moderator ya dingus, and I definitely would not ban anyone for disagreeing with my views. And I'm not 'extremely religious' either. I'm a shitty Christian in all honesty.

I'm part of the dev team, I'm there to do stuff with the web design, not ban people.

For the love of god don't deteriorate into some stupid "war" between the sites.

That would be unbearably pathetic.
This type of thing happened before. They'll die in like a week and go back to b.net.
you're a fool if you think Sapphire will die in a week. We've existed longer than any other community to come from Bungie.net, and will outlive all others.

oh you guys noticed us, how cute
After the butthurt admin, how could we resist you guys?
no one in sapphire is butthurt lol

it's funny watching dinguses on other sites think we're so butthurt about their existence.

Serious / Re: Conservative artists?
« on: March 10, 2016, 04:33:04 PM »
There are progressive conservatives
What kind of things do progressive conservatives support? Because those two words seem to be in conflict; at least in my mind.

Gay marriage, social welfare, drug legalization, etc. Liberal/conservative describe the amount of government injected into the process of progress. I believe Meta put it something like, if progress is a highway, liberals hit the gas and get from point A to B quickly; Conservatives hit the brakes before a sharp turn. If someone describes themselves as "socially liberal" but economically conservative, they probably actually mean they're progressive conservatives. Look at examples like Teddy Roosevelt or Eisenhower; they enacted change, but with caution -- conservatively.
what label would you attache to a socially conservative economically leftist?

I'm an artist and I'm socially conservative on a number of issues.

But economically I'm pretty far left.
That's a strange combination.
it shouldn't be. political labels are stupid, people should hold the views they believe in instead of conforming entirely to the left wing or the right wing.

I think most art mediums are dominated by liberal/progressive people because art is all about doing new things and exploring new areas, which isn't exactly in line with conservative thinking.

It's absolutely shocking how many intelligent, reasonable people believe this rhetoric.
Well if you want to tell me how I'm incorrect, I'll gladly listen. Conservatism revolves around preservation of the status quo, which conflicts with much artistic thinking. The two seem diametrically opposed, to me.
ah, I see my evil opposite has not changed in these many years :P

Within the media? Yes.

On Wikipedia? Not really. Wikipedia is genuinely pretty neutral.
