Hey man, don't take it from me. Go ask DTL. I doubt he'd want to talk to you about it after the things you said to him, but you should really out that to rest. Come to understand yourself better and realize your attitudes is getting you nowhere fast. He already has spoken to me. He has no qualms with me, except he knows that I have qualms with him. He suggested that I report Otthild to the authorities for posting my image, because "even though we've had issues in the past," he still thought to suggest to me that because he thought it was out of line. Which it was.
Though, what Otthild did wasn't technically illegal, because I posted the images in a place with people I thought I could trust, but I was wrong, and I take accountability for that. I did threaten to have Otthild arrested, though. Just to scare her. And I think it worked. But that's another story.
Point is, DTL respects me enough to interact with me and I respect him enough to take his advice if I see fit.
I don't really care about your whole story and it's completely irrelevant. All I said was to stop blaming people for things you did, and to learn from your mistakes so you can grow as a person.

I am not arguing based on any current legal definitions of free speech, because they aren't really free speech. Any restriction on speech that does not cause direct harm to others violates freedom of speech. Understand? Okay.
Just because YOU think shock images are icky and scary doesn't mean they should be banned outright. We're rational creatures, we should know better than to legislate based on feelings. Require spoilers tags for gore? Sure. But banning any harmless image outright is stupid.
I understand 4chan is a private website and Moot is ultimately in charge. However, he is not immune to criticism. The guy has spent years preaching about freedom of speech and how 4chan is a safe place for it. His latest actions are in violation of all of that. It's hypocritical. I can't force him to do the right thing, but I can sure as hell criticize him for not doing it.
Shock images do directly harm people. Of course they're "icky", that's the whole fucking point of a shock image. They're not free speech. It's about damn time you guys get banned for that shit. Realize you're especially not immune to criticism because what you're doing isn't free speech in any way. Posting gore just to shock people is doing something with malicious intent, which last I looked was illegal. There is absolutely no point you're making by showing gore, you're doing it just to mess with people. Stop trying to get off on a technicality when there is no technicality, posting something with no intent other than to harm someone psychologically because you find it fun is not speech in any way, shape, or form.
