Fuck police.

I have never ever had a positive interaction with a cop. In the city, I see police cars driving around and I suppose that is good as a deterrent for violent crime. I've never been pulled over by one in the city and they're really just kinda there in the background.

But I'm also super pale white and I've seen how they respond to black people doing anything remotely "bad" like protesting. Cops kill a lot of black people, man.

And then I go back to my home-town, which is the county seat, and see a place flooded with state, city, and county police with nothing better to do than setup speed traps and siphon money away from normal people who may have been going like 5-over the speed limit. I HAVE been pulled over by these types of cops and they are full of it, man. They want you to obey ANYTHING they say and they really do think they have the right to search you, your car, whatever, on a whim.

These pieces of shit are let loose on communities with barely any legal training and a license to kill. They absolutely need to be defunded and let that money go toward programs and professionals who know how to deal with poor and desperate people without shooting or arresting them.

And yeah, all lives matter, but police happen to be killing black and brown people like crazy. Like seriously dude, these people are legitimately executing people on video now and nothing is being done -- they're immune. Just because black people decide to burn down a 7-11, doesn't mean police should fucking shoot them. Yeah, arrest them. Duh. But you can't honestly tell me someone's property that is insured is more valuable than a life. That's how you GET riots, you idiot. People get pissed off that their family members and friends keep getting killed.

I don't wanna be put on a watch list or anything for saying this, and please know I don't advocate violence, but I absolutely understand why people are starting to burn shit down. It's the only way anything gets done. Rich people don't give a shit until their property starts being destroyed.

You're a fucking moron and are on the wrong side of history if you honestly believe police are the good guys here and the protestors are the bad guys.

/rant. Also we should 1v1 on Halo,

I guess this really depends on the community you grew up in. I haven't really had an issue with the police in my neck of the woods. You know that's all fine and dandy if you are going to protest because the police in your area sucks and you want shit changed, but what I have a problem with is when these people decide to terrorize innocent people that haven't done anything wrong. People that have worked really hard in life to get to where they are.

If you seriously believe that every single white person deserves to get terrorized, you have some serious issues. And I'm on the wrong side of history? Are you sure about that? I hope you're armed then should these people decide to come to your neighborhood and break into your house.

And you know man, I'm sorry that you never had a positive interaction with a cop, because there seriously are good ones out there, and yes there are bad ones too. They are after all people.

I just don't see how any of this shit is fair to someone who hasn't done anything to these people, and I DON'T think people should have a free pass to loot and steal from others. Not everyone that has a decent living is rich, especially when they have worked so hard to get far in life. Not every small business owner has millions of dollars, most are middle class with bills to pay and other expenses, heck because of the whole crap with covid many small businesses are barely able to survive now, and the riots completely fucked up their chances of staying open especially if they got destroyed and looted. Mega corporations I get it, they have insurance, but small business? All in the name of Fuck The Police? Tell me how that's right. Tell me how that's okay because that makes zero fucking sense. Again, not all cops are good, I agree with that and not all are bad either. This whole thing right now is a grey area, it always has been, but you need help if you honestly believe that Antifa and BLM's actions are 100% justified. Two wrongs don't make a right.

Also no. I read your comment. We already 1v1'd in the past. Not happening again.
You are judging the protestors by their worst, but are judging the police by their best. Do you not see the cognitive dissonance here?

The difference is that we give police extraordinary powers to protect and serve. If firefighters or airline pilots killed as many people as police do, I bet you’d have a serious fucking problem with it.

And you're judging the "protestors" by their best, but are judging the police by their worst. I already explained that this is a grey area. You know what the difference is with police and all of those other professions? Police have to deal with scum of the earth in their job, because not every single person that they stop or deal with is law abiding. And as I have been saying, yes there are those that abuse their authority, and those particular people will get what's coming to them, but what about those that have a fucking family and actually have done good in the community? What about when they get gunned down by some fuck nut and their kid doesn't have daddy (or mommy) in their life anymore?

I agree with you on the following, the police ARE suppose to protect and serve, the corrupt ones should be tried and sentenced, but I ask you. What will defunding the police and abolishing them achieve? What are you going to replace them with? You can't replace them with nothing because if you do, crime is going to skyrocket. Never underestimate human nature.

What's happening right now is very far from a protest to call these people protesters. If CNN is your source by any means then I really feel sorry for you. They're a joke of a new organization after they reported that the "protesters are mostly peaceful" despite all the carnage and fire in the background.
Deci, what do you think defunding the police means?

The root word of Defund is to take funds away, cut their pay, their salary. If you want the definition of defund, prevent from continuing to receive funds.

Defunding the police should mean to cut their pay, but its going far enough to cut their jobs entirely. The collective left wants the police abolished.
...no. We want to replace SOME of the police with social workers and programs to help take care of non-violent stuff. The same way police don’t take care of 911 calls for fires, we want to shuffle around funds so we don’t have unstable, hostile, armed cops responding to wellness checks, getting spooked, and executing a 9 year old.

See but that's not want BLM wants. BLM wants the police abolished, there haven't been any actual protests or anything of the sort because it doesn't fit their political agenda.

Also BLM doesn't even care for black people.
No. Some individuals want the police abolished. I am one of them.

But I’ll settle for defunding them.

Okay, say the police are 100% abolished and gone from the country. Now what? What are you going to do when shit hits the fan?

Deci every day a new video emerges on twitter of a black guy getting his grey matter evicted from his skull by a cop who goes on to not be held accountable in any way, shape or form. If your takeaway from this is Rioters are the problem because some murdoch press ‘journalist’ posted a video of an empty shopfront ablaze with no context then I think you really need to re evaluate your line of reasoning because you’re essentially being the same guy that stands up and screams ‘not all men’ the nanosecond sexual abuse is brought up.

Okay but has that guy done anything to get killed buy a cop? Has every guy done anything to get killed by a cop or were they just standing their innocently?

All sides need to be looked into here.
NOBODY SHOULD BE KILLED BY A COP.

What are you even talking about? Even murderers deserve a trial, guy.

Okay, here's a hypothetical example, Cheat. Say you are a cop. You are responding to a 7-11 robbery in progress. The robber comes out and decides he is going to aim his weapon at you and shoot you. You are armed and you have a gun aimed at him. What do you do?

Will you let him shoot and kill you?

Yeah I don't trust the media, and consider not relying on the liberal media for its bias reporting.

This is exactly what I expected to happen seeing such a shit take nobody asked for and my dumbass still jumped right in smh

As I have been saying I'm well aware of the problems that police have caused, but that doesn't mean they are all like this.

Like I said I'm all for ending racism and police brutality, especially on black people, but this isn't the right way to go about it. Martin Luther King Jr. would be rolling over his grave right now if he were to see all of this.

I already said in the OP that there are multiple factors to all of this. George Floyd's death is one of them.

It’s less about the mentioned and more a movement for Police Accountability. By all reports from organisers, people engaging in actual rioting/looting aren’t even there to protest (twitter is a pretty useful channel for keeping up to date especially if you follow tags like #seattleprotestcomms). Like it or not a lot of stuff in the US is made specifically for Authority figures to have zero accountability for their actions, especially against minorities.

Like you have to understand, George Floyd wasn’t an isolated case. Hell Police shooting black people has been a running gag on south park for the entirety of the show’s runtime and nothing has changed.

If its more of a movement for police accountability then why the fuck are they terrorizing residential neighborhoods and not letting people sleep at 3 in the morning? What makes it okay to fucking KILL someone that just disagrees with you? Have you been paying attention to Portland recently?

If you think George Floyd’s death was the sole catalyst of the protests then I think you might want to do a bit of reading up on just what’s being protested here.

I already said in the OP that there are multiple factors to all of this. George Floyd's death is one of them.

I am personally sick of living like this. I hope there's a vaccine for this shit soon enough or something. CDC's recent report said that only 6% died from just Covid alone, and the rest with Covid and other medical problems. Either way I think this whole thing is completely fucked up.

Crazy enough I still work during this pandemic, I don't know if I'm lucky or what? I guess I'm lucky if I'm still alive and breathing. Either that or god hates me by keeping me alive to mentally suffer (if there is one)

I really wish shit would just go back to normal.

Had several friends die from this, none of them unhealthy people with medical problems and all of them around my age. Been working at a nuclear plant (Fermi 2) since this started as a decontamination technician, there was one death I heard about that had to happen for them to force people to wear masks. Now they're stopping all those procedures because things have gone well in the plant.

so tired of how this is all going, especially since I'm working with people who think the virus is made up so the government can take more power (nevermind the fact that they can always do that just by taking advantage of a horrible situation that happens naturally)

I'm 2 months late with my reply, but I'm truly sorry for your loss. That's seriously fucked.

I'm well aware that what I'm about to post will be publicly archived since the site is open for search engines to index it, but that's not going to convince me to change my stance on this. I also normally don't get political but I think this warrants a discussion for any sane individuals left.

Now, I think police brutality is wrong, under any normal circumstance there should be police reform, because stopping or killing someone because they're black is wrong. I'm all for ending racism. Honestly I would like nothing more but for everyone to just gather around, put their differences aside and sing kumbaya.

However, that's not what's happening. What is happening is we are having these "Peaceful Protesters" looting, stealing, destroying businesses, causing destruction, pretty much destroying the liberal cities. I say liberal because you're not seeing this happen in conservative areas. That and people are dying. All in the name of defunding the police.

I don't know about you, but when things get really bad, and someone is after you and you don't have anyway to protect yourself and they're armed. Your normal reaction would be to call 911 and ask for the police to get that guy or whoever off your back right? Or if you witness a hit and run.

All defunding the police will do is make things even worse, pretty much eliminating the existence of police all together and leaving you vulnerable unless you own or live with someone who owns a gun to defend your home, because the police aren't going to come by if some fuck nut breaks in, and this is assuming you live in a liberal city that has its police defunded or its district attorney is so politically far left that they won't prosecute anyone in Antifa or BLM that is causing massive destruction and civil unrest. We really might be having a 2nd civil war soon.

I don't know what more to say, other than this has really gone too far. Its one thing to have a different political point of view and argue with the other side and call them names and whatnot. Its another to actually cause destruction and fucking kill someone because they support Trump and the police.

Its not fucking okay. I'll disagree with anyone who supports Biden sure, but holy shit I'm not going to hunt them down and fucking execute them over it, and yet this is what the radical left is doing. This is borderline insanity, what the fuck is happening to this country let alone this world?

Also I am well aware there are multiple factors to all of this, with people despising Trump, Covid 19, The death of George Floyd, etc, however this shit is really getting out of hand.

This is fucking scary, and yeah. I'm scared. With all the shit happening in Portland, Seattle, and Kenosha, this is one hell of a fucking nightmare that I just can't wake myself out of. That and the whole thing with these people wanting to reeducate those who disagree with them or have them dead. Like..... holy shit.

That's all I have left to say, thank you for reading this far if you did. If not, its okay. I'm not expecting most people here to read it. Yeah this shit is something I couldn't fathom ever happening, and I feel like I'm losing my sanity everyday I hear something about it. If I ever stumble across BLM or Antifa by mistake, I'm pretty sure I'm going to die.

Most recent pic. Haven't put gas in over 3 weeks cause I have nowhere to go. Longest I've gone without driving my car during these times was 4 days.

You probably should put gas in, just in case in the event there is a gas shortage because of this insanity, plus that's a bad habit to let it get close to E from what I hear when it comes to car maintenance.

Then yet again, you have historically chosen a problematic car since the Chevy Camaro has a ton of leaks from what I heard. Granted so have I, but mine is a mess from its electronic standpoint.

The only good Chevy honestly is a Corvette, everything else is questionable. I for one am never getting another modern Chevy again. Next car I'm getting is going to be Japanese.

I'm not a huge fan of the Toyota Coroller due to design but performance alone might get me sold on that car.

But the Mazda MX-5 Miata is a car I've wanted since I was 5. No joke. As for the listing, yeah I think its a neat deal and having the removable hard top despite it being another $1000 out of my pocket would at least protect the car from water damage.

I'd go to the dealer and check out this very car that I linked right now but because of this stupid Coronavirus shit I can't even do that. I have heard that a 90s Mazda Miata with automatic transmission is bad mainly because its 4 speed and you lose the fun factor with it as a result, but honestly I could end up getting that one too if I don't end up finding one that's manual assuming this car I linked gets sold. I'd still like to learn stick properly though, I've been told that I'd be better off with an automatic car either way because of how bad traffic is (pre covid-19) and that I'd get tired of driving stick really fast, Yeah I don't know about that, there are people who daily drive this car with a manual transmission and they don't seem to have a problem with it.

I have done some research on the Miata. I'm avoiding the 1990-1991 models due to the short nose crank that they have which breaks easily, I'm going after one that at least has duel air bags and power steering, so that eliminates me getting one with a 1.6 engine. Originally I was going to go 1992 and up, but now I think I'm gonna go 1994 and up. I may cap it at 1997 if I want one with popup headlights or not.

I'm not gonna get an ND Miata because that's $35,000 plus tax and other chargers, and its money I do not have, and the NC Miata is the least desirable. That leaves the NB and the NA Miatas, NA being the all time favorite, especially for modding.
NAs are cool, I’d avoid the 1.6 too, but more because it’s underpowered than anything else.

Honestly Manuals aren’t that bad. My daily has a really heavy twin plate clutch and even with that I don’t find stop-start traffic all that tedious. For a car with a more ‘standard’ setup you should be fine.

I do love that its a simple car to drive overall from what I'm hearing. From very little to no computer input, unlike my current car. The current car I drive is a fucking joke with it being all computerized and shit. Even though I did take a loan and paid off that loan, I blew $16,000 on that as my first car because that was the recommendation from friends and family, and granted I was with family when I bought the car to make sure I got a "good deal" Honestly this was debatable to say the least. Yeah the car gets me from point A to point B just fine and hasn't left me stranded yet, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have its major frustrations and issues, for one unless its a 2019 Chevy Cruze, you can't turn off the auto stop/start system unless you BNR tune it, which will void your warranty and the dealership service center wouldn't even touch your car, the alternative (which is what I do) is put it on L6 but even that itself apparently is taking a risk on messing with the transmission.

This fucking car is anything but fucking simple and is a nightmare to work on by yourself. The Miata, everything is laid out in the engine bay, you can clearly see where everything is, The Cruze, its too fucking crowded in the engine bay and these eco-tech engines are a joke, not to mention the majority of them have had cracked piston issues, including mine before I became the owner of mine.

Also, whoever invented the auto stop/start system on cars to begin with is a major fucking asshole. That's probably the most dangerous system you can place on a vehicle.

I need to learn to drive stick as well. Automatics suck when it comes to driving up a hill, heck automatics in general take away the driving experience and make you feel less in control. They might be convenient for not shifting, but that creates distractions. If everyone drove a manual transmission, no one would be able to text and drive.

https://lafinemotors.com/vdp/13688316/Used-1995-Mazda-MX5-Miata-w-Removable-Hardtop-for-sale-in-North-Hollywood-CA-91602?mode=photos

Thinking about picking this up as a second car whenever I have the money if I don't sell my first car, or if I do sell my first car, I sell it to this dealer and get this car instead. I've wanted the Miata since I was 5 and these cars are cheap to maintain and are modifiable as fuck. Plus this one is manual transmission and is allegedly a lot fun. Its not a very fast car, but that's okay, I don't need it to be a fast car. Though its faster than the $16,000 heep of shit I currently own and drive and is overall a better fucking car because it doesn't have bullshit like auto stop/start. Someone is likely going to buy this one before I even have the chance to get my hands on it anyway.

I'll be lucky if I ever find another Miata that's in great shape or at least decent shape like this one, since most seem to be trashed up and treated like crap. I still need to test drive this sucker at least once, but I'm positive I'll enjoy it.

Regardless if this is my next car or not, I need to learn stick. Last time I drove stick shift was when I was 12 (it was an empty parking lot and I was supervised, but at least I've had experience even if I was too young and wasn't much. I didn't even stall when I got the car moving until I saw a fence and hit the brake hard forgetting to get it out of gear. Obviously I was 12 but I'm an adult now and a far better driver compared to being a kid.)
MX-5s are a good learning platform, they feel kinda like a Go-Kart to drive and even though they’re underpowered stock, they’re heaps of fun.

Removable Hardtops are pretty popular and a pricey option even by itself. I can’t view the listing but it sounds like a neat deal.

You’re in the US aren’t you? You should still be able to find a decent Toyota Coroller/Sprinter AE86 Twin Cam/4A-G swapped SR5 for a good price. They’re like $20k+ over here because of Initial D but seem to be reasonably priced stateside.

I'm not a huge fan of the Toyota Coroller due to design but performance alone might get me sold on that car.

The Flood / Re: How's your dating life going?
« on: April 11, 2020, 03:40:09 AM »
Its dead. Don't really want another one. I'd rather kill myself than date again.

I have no fucking purpose or absolute reason to date anyone anymore and there are no more single classy women left. Everyone either has some kind of major issue or I am forced to walk around eggshells with them. Political correctness fucking ruined women.

I always thought honesty was key in a relationship but apparently that's a fucking lie now. If you can't be honest with whoever you're with, then how can you even have a strong trusting relationship?

I'd rather be alone or dead.

I think having 2 ex girlfriends in my dating history was enough, I don't need a 3rd. First one was in a fucked up love triangle (which ended really bad) and the second one just didn't work out and was impossible for it to remain stable. For the record, both of them broke up with me, and this is all individual separate times, I don't cheat, I actually hate cheaters. Regardless, I'll still be considered the fucking loser on here either way for being a decent human being.

I swear I don't know if this is just my experience but apparently women really love to fucking argue now or look for a reason to argue even if there is none, and give you shit if you don't argue back. Like what the actual fuck?

I'm tired of getting hurt and being blamed for shit that isn't even my fault to start with, and I'll admit when I'm at fault, because I know I'm not fucking perfect and am a mess, but holy fuck do I really fucking try, I thought it was all about being able to tolerate one another but clearly that's not how shit works anymore, especially with chivalry making you a sexist. Chivalry.... which is something my own mother taught me at young age.... is considered sexist. And its not like I'm romantically challenged, I have no problem with that and can do all that just fine and have actually made her day, but the negatives always seem to be more of the focus with women today, its like they look for a reason to feel and be offended.

Why the ever loving fuck should I even desire another relationship when I'm not even going to be fucking appreciated? Wanna know what makes it worse? When the person you're with will take a petty problem that shouldn't even normally cause an argument and turn it into a fucking mountain of an argument. Small petty shit.

And if all of this itself makes me a fucking incel, all the more reason to stay fucking single. I have no plans to procreate and I don't need my genes to get passed on anyway, hell, I didn't want to even be brought to this planet anyway.

I was born way too fucking late. Fuck my generation.

If you think I should still date, quote this reply and try to change my mind. Otherwise, I'm done. I don't need a woman to complete my life, I don't need ANYONE to complete my life, so no. I'm not going gay.

/rant

TL;DR version:

YouTube

Song sums it up perfectly.

May I empart a story to you? Of course I can, since I'm writing this. I study people as I go about my life. And I see a lot relationships fall apart for various reasons. I'm not here to talk about those reasons. I'm writing for the sake of explaining what an actual relationship is, what it feels like.

I met a girl when I was fourteen. She was a gamer, like me. The very first night I bumped into her, I stayed up all night talking to her. And the next day after, I talked to her again. And again. We communicated through a combination of gaming and webcam, email and so on every day. Every morning and every night. I got to know her explicitely well, probably as well as you could know a person short of them actually being there in person. I was friends with her for about three years. And then one day, things clicked. I realized that I loved this person. What they'd done for me, all the times they'd been there for me. I was in an awful place during my younger years. Meeting her pulled me through it. We both did. We grew together. And we started making plans. Closing the gap, getting passports, finally meeting in person after all these years because we both missed each other even though we'd never so much as touched in person. The short story is that she never made it. She was killed before any of our plans could truly come together.

The only thing I can say is that part of me died with her. That's what it feels like every day. When I was younger, I didn't care about finding somebody. I always thought I was going to be alone. And I was okay with that. And she had to come into the picture and destroy that hopelessly childish belief. Standing here now without her, day by day, I can only tell you this. I miss her. I miss loving her. I feel like I'm half a person without her, and that's the truth, because she made so many things right in my life. We did that for each other. We both had flaws. We grew and learned together, lived our lives together, as much as we could through the mediums that enabled us. Without her, my existence is nearly meaningless. Life was worth living because she was there beside me to live it with me. I'd do it over again even if I knew she was going to die every time. I'd do anything to give her a chance to be alive again.

That's what you feel when you find the right person. The other stumbling blocks and shit relationships on the road are just that. Stepping stones. Whatever pain they cause pales in comparison to what you feel when you're ready to call somebody your other half, and you mean that with every shred of your existence.

Shit dude, that's horrible. I'm really sorry for your loss.

I suppose you're right. I mean, I didn't look for either of my exes either, I never looked for a relationship, it just happened.

57
I didn't realize SecondClass was a Groomer.
Probably because I'm not. I know this must sound weird to the genuinely creepy populace of this forum, but it's possible to have healthy friendships with people below the age of 18 without any ulterior motives.

If I had kids who were teenagers I sure as hell wouldn't trust them talking to you of all people let alone being friends with them.

You're a horrible example to children.
Do you even remember why you dislike me? I've been nothing but nice to you.

Remember the time we switched accounts on here and I trusted you, and you were going to end up stealing it and making me look far more fucking worse than I already was on here?

Yeah, that's reason enough to dislike you. I was stupid to trust you, but I'm a lot wiser now.
