It sure is nice of Bungie to have content in the game that's easily assailable, but locked behind a DLC wall.

I don't even know how Bungie messed that up. If I was one of the devs at Bungie, I'd disable the mesh colliders on those pipes.

That's all you need to do really to prevent people from going there. How can you frack that up?

I was wondering where that lift led to.

Looks like it was in the 2013 trailer LOL

Wow. Part of me wants to go there myself, and the other part of me is just too disappointed to even try firing up the game and climbing up there.

I might try it just to get the dead Ghosts, but still. This game had so much potential and because of that DLC deal with Activision, the game is gutted.

I bet they're going to patch this eventually so you can access it with with DLC only when the DLC is out.

This is an approvement? Looks like someone messed with the Brightness and Contrast Tools in Photoshop.

Graphics aren't everything btw. You can have the best graphics money can buy, but if your game sucks, no one is going to play it.
>implying Halo 4 sucks

The story does.

Wow, I didn't realise so many of you  had/are getting an X1

I'm not. I never will.

If anything I would be more likely to get a PS4 if I had to get a new console.

Well, now that's quite a creepy one. Why didn't she just mute, and block him and move on? That's typically the best thing to do with most gamers you meet in matchmaking anyway.

I agree. That's what she should have done instead of just responding back.

The Flood / Re: The story behind your username?
« on: October 10, 2014, 12:51:00 PM »
I was 15. Trying to come up with a new profile name on the Xbox (this was before I had live.)

I was originally going to go with Demoralizer Omega. My friend sitting next to me said that was stupid. He asked "Why not just call yourself Decimator?"

At the time, I thought having it be Decimator alone would be too plain. But then once I combined the 2 words Decimator and Omega, it fit like PB&J.

That's the story behind my username. I've been using it as my handle ever since.
It's a good handle.

Yep. I've had it for about 6 years now. I highly doubt that I'll change it.

The boot up sound and then the background noise that sounds like radio chatter...so cool. Still play my original once in a while. Thing's a tank.

At least it was designed well. Mine is 13 years old already.

Wow, very nice. I never thought of extracting them from my own Xbox.

Your Xbox has to be softmodded in order to extract anything. This includes game files from a disc as well.

20564
.... sweet jesus. I don't know if I can finish this.

I watched the entire thing. It's quite sad really.

20565
I want to watch the video because I'm kind of interested in it. But I feel I might die of cringyness and second hand embarrassment.

I doubt you're going die from that. If anything you just might end up going ".....damn...."

Gaming / Original Xbox sounds. (UPDATE)
« on: October 10, 2014, 02:35:16 AM »
https://www.mediafire.com/?ngr6q356w9wct0n

Ripped straight from my Original Xbox. I ripped these awhile back and forgot that I had them. I did it thanks to softmodding it which allowed me to access the raw files via FTPing.

Yes, the files are in .wav but they are raw. Downloading these files will work right off the bat in the Unity engine, but having these files and playing them on Windows Media Player will not work. You will have to reconvert each .wav file if you want them to play. There is a reason why I didn't touch them, but I'll make a copy and reconvert them tomorrow if you want Windows Media Player or whatever audio program you use to listen to music to play them. You can even convert specific files you want by going to this website: http://media.io/

These are the actual Original Xbox Dashboard sounds, ripped straight from my console. You may go ahead and do whatever you like with them, I doubt Microsoft is going to care, however I would avoid using these for anything commercial as Microsoft could potentially sue you for copyright, if they give enough of a damn that is. Again, I doubt they'll care now. They pretty much abandoned the Original Xbox.

Anywho, have fun with these. Enjoy Sep7agon.

UPDATE!: MP3 version now avaiable! No need to convert unless you want to!: https://www.mediafire.com/?iyrp5m6q03nm6si

Wired controllers are better.

You know, now that I'm thinking more and more about it, I can get a 2.5 to 3.5mm converter and use my PC mic as my wired mic, so you're right.

The only risk factor though is that it could short circuit the controller, at least according to some people.

Should cost me around $2 for that converter though.

I feel pretty bad for people who actually placed 60$ for a game that looks like it could be 20-30$ or free to play while paying for the expansions

At least I didn't buy a hard copy, so I'm not stuck with it.

I wish I hadn't bought it. That money could have gone towards buying an X1 >.>

I'm definitely not buying the expansion pass.

LMAO! The money could have gone towards a PC instead. Why waste your hard earn money on another inferior product?

I mean, like, whenever I try to plug in and use two wired controllers, the second one doesn't work, and I am forced to use that one as wireless.

If you mean the console doesn't have enough USB ports, it's still like that.

As far as wired controllers go, they have never failed me. Same with the wireless ones.

My Original Xbox Controllers to this day still work.

Oh. Nope. I've never had that problem. Sounds like a USB port issue with the console and not the controller.

But this.... holy shit man. This is just sad.

I know the video is old, but here me out. I don't think this kid fully understands the concept of rejection, but yet he still comes off completely creepy.

It sucks really. :/

What are your thoughts on this?

No one worth talking to really, everyone is either a little screaming kid or a "hey you're a girl lets be friends".

I pretty much end up muting everyone, especially if I have to hear a squeakers voice coming out of the speakers.

That or I play Halo 2 to avoid voice chat all together.

Two wired controllers never worked for me on the Xbox 360. Was this changed?

Not only that but I can have a friend use a wired controller as well as me using a wired one so no batteries would ever have to be bought again.

If you mean the console doesn't have enough USB ports, it's still like that.

Controller. Mics are overrated (and crazy cheap on eBay, yo).

I suppose so. I'll see what the overwhelming vote is over time. If it's the controller after about a week from today, I'll buy the controller.

I'll just have to choose an option in terms of price. Lowest is $20 with $3.99 shipping, and the other one with my Amazon Prime Membership is $34.99 with 2 day free shipping.
