360 is already pretty outdated, plus MUH HALO.
...but yeah, save up for a One/4
The 360 is never outdated. Neither is the Original Xbox. OT: Get THUG 2.

I think you need another break.
I think people like you need to vote with your wallet more often and not spend money on this cash cow.
Why you mad though?

^ And that's just the tip of the ice berg.
>a feature that has been on the BR since H2
Pleb more
A Holographic Sight that is used in a traditional ADS fashion is from Halo 2?
The zoom feature, not the change of sight/scope.
Yes, it is still a magnification. Thing is, that it's a gimmicky magnification that has no conceivable reason for being implemented other than to attract the CoD-type player.
Something is different? It's obviously done to attract CoD players. - Assassin11D7
Really? So, why would they change something like that in a way that requires an animation that takes the dev team more time to do, adds clutter to the zoomed in screen, and offers no positive on a whim? What other reason is there? If you disagree, then clearly you have a well-founded reason to oppose me, right? Let's hear it.
Because they can. That's literally the only reason needed. And the new zoom takes up as much of the screen as the old BR does.
The old BR didn't have the sides of a scope/rds in the FoV. Mainly because, you were actually zoomed in through a scope, not the camera zooming in.
And I'm sorry, if you really think that something like that is done on a freakin' whim, then I don't think you have a clue what you're talking about.
The FOV of the new BR is the same as the FOV of the old BR regardless of being able to see the sides of the scope.
Where did I say it's done on a whim? Just because they went with a design change doesn't mean it's "hurr they r apeeling to cod kiddies".
They are. Haven't you noticed how similar Halo and COD are starting to become?

People are crying about new stuff they've had no hands on with and is also a beta and subject to change.
Because saying, "Wait until you play the game before hating on it!" worked so well with Halo 4?
Ah yes. I forgot that we had input on Halo 4 by playing the Beta... Oh.
Just going to throw this out there.
Reach actually got worse after the beta.
I actually liked the beta more than the final game.

Halo 2 online multiplayer was enough to hook me, but the anniversary campaign, new forge items/features, and Halo 5 beta had me completely gaga.
And it's also the first and only (as of yet) Halo on Xbox One. My 360 was starting to seem a little stale...
This is why Microsoft never learns anything.
No one votes with their wallets anymore. :/
I am. I completely approve of Halo 2 Anniversary with a lot of other cool shit added onto it (which is what I consider the MCC) and so I'm going to buy it and play the hell out of it because it's something I will enjoy for...dare I say years?
Cheat, you're a really cool dude and I'm sure you're a smart guy, but Microsoft was right when they believed that their consumers are all idiots, because they'll buy just about anything.
You're thinking Destiny and CoD (which I hear the latter was kind of good, but I still don't care for the series). I love Halo. I've loved Halo since Halo 2, which was my first real FPS experience after Goldeneye on the N64.
They haven't tricked me into anything. I watched the videos and read the articles and I'm stoked because it's fucking Halo 2 in HD!, not because it was hyped. I'll probably end up ruining this disk from playing it so often, like I did to my old Halo 3 disk after playing it every day after school and on weekends.
This shit is the ultimate LAN party game and it's more of a social experience than Destiny will ever be. Shit is going to go down in custom games with MCC and it will be incredible. Why aren't you on board with this?
Because it's on a console that I cannot support nor would I want to spend my money on. I doubt their would ever be a PC release of this anyway. Plus, the idea of buying it just to buy a whole new console wouldn't be the smartest decision for me. The main selling point is going to be Halo 2 for it obviously. Oh well, at least I still have Halo 2 PC to enjoy.

At least I got a couple people mad.
Good. Honestly.
I didn't want to have to call you fucking stupid for this.
Can't believe you fell for it. XD I obviously knew this was gonna piss of anyone that bought it, I just wanted to see just how many. That right there is true trolling. Though you can save a lot of money just by buying the older releases and playing it on the 360, but it's obvious that the MCC is what someone would want in this day and age. There's just no alternative it seems. I wouldn't mind if this was out on the PC or at least was a time exclusive. I'm not in the mood to buy a whole new console for it.

But I can't play Halo 2 online in 60fps and 1080p.....
The fact that people actually give a shit about framerate being 60FPS just shows that no one gives a fuck about gameplay anymore in this day and age.
>People care about 60fps >Don't care about gameplay
Framerate directly affects gameplay. Especially an FPS game.
I don't recall fucks like you complaining about framerate when Halo 3 was out.
So people aren't allowed to want something that improves a game now? Some dev you are.
Oh no. I didn't say that framerate doesn't matter period. Because if framerate drops past 30, your game chugs and has issues functioning. You at least want it at 30. What I'm saying is, people seem to focus more on the framerate than the actual gameplay these days. 30 frames is playable, so their shouldn't be any complains. Yes 60 frames is better but that doesn't make 30 frames a terrible game.

On the other hand if we make sure the MCC does well and Halo 5 bombs 343i will finally get the message about what their audience actually fucking wants in a Halo game.
Or they're going to do whatever they want to the franchise and not give a fuck about how their audience feels.

Can't play Halo CE online on Xbox, the MCC allows that
Can't play Halo 2 online anymore, the MCC brought that back
Halo 3 Multiplayer on 360 is dead, the MCC will bring back some of the players
Halo 4 multiplayer on 360 was dead 2 weeks after the game came out, still will be dead with the MCC
Halo 1 was never designed nor meant to be played online, and because of that it has many issues under netcoding. Halo 2 PC is still alive as far as online play goes, you want MS to forget about Halo 2 PC and have it dead? Halo 3 multiplayer truly died when Bungie replaced it with the Reach servers. Halo 4 is a joke. Don't even get me started.

Your autism hurts. It's a new zoom aesthetic you moron. Zoom ( which is a form of ADS) has been in Halo since CE.
You're literally too stupid to insult now with what you just said.

Yeah, Fuck that Deci.
It's fucking Halo 2. Of course I'm going to god damn buy it.
Buying that will kill the remaining population that's left for Halo 2 PC online. MS who said is looking for support options for it just might end up closing it because of this, that is unless the MCC doesn't sell. Microsoft can only push a product, but it's up to people to vote with their wallets here. If it doesn't sell well, maybe they'll focus on keeping Halo 2 PC alive and trying to find ways to get more people to buy that instead.
