Well... I was stupid enough to attempt a downgrade at 8.1.2 the last minute yesterday because I was having issues with 8.1.3. It's no longer signed as of today. Doing that downgrade via iTunes fucked something up and I have no way to reverse it. :/

Restore it.

I tried. More than 6 times at least. Didn't do anything.

We went the the second Verizon store
"Hey ma'am can you cut my SIM card for my new phone?"
"Cut a SIM card? No no no, you can't simply cut a sim card you have to get a new one and pay a fee. Go to this other Verizon store, who ever told you you can cut a SIM card is stupid"

We get to the third Verizon store
"Hi I'd like to get my SIM card cut for my new phone"
"Alright we'll put you on the list"
*30 minutes goes by*
*verizon people approach me*
"Sorry sir please leave our store"
"Errrrr okay"

I then went home and did it with scissors. Phone works perfectly.

But what's weird is that the phone still worked even with out the SIM card. My brother-in-law is under the same plan with the same exact phone.

So... I still have no service on it. At least partial service to be exact. I went to the genius bar for my appointment today. According to them the software was optimal and that this could be a possible 3G antenna issue, but I don't think that's the case. My guess is something got unlinked, though Verizon my provider says they don't use the sim card for the 3G and that I'm connected according to them. I found out that the Sim card is only there for the voicemail, which btw my phone reads no Sim card when I try to check my voicemail. This shit is not provisioned.

Long story short, phone has it's warranty expired, costs $200 to get a replacement iPhone 4s.

.....Yeeeahh Fuck that. I'm better off getting a better phone 7 months from now. I can still make phone calls and whatnot over WiFi. No 3G.

This is the thanks I get after downgrading to 8.1.2 yesterday because 8.1.3 was being problematic. And after updating back to 8.1.3, it didn't fix it, and today, Apple stopped signing 8.1.2, so now I'm really fucked.

Fuck Apple, fuck the iPhone and Fuck this shit.

My iPhone now is nothing more but a fucking iPod Touch now, and the really fucked up part is I already own an iPod Touch, and I'm going to use that more instead, but all of my apps that require iOS 7 won't install since mine is 4th gen which is locked to 6.1.6.

I never jailbroke my iPhone, only my iPod Touch, which is no longer jailbroken since jailbreaking causes the device to slow down over time due to the extra scripts. Even possible crashing when booting up.

Has anything this stupid ever happen to you? Discuss.
