It's game prototypes in Unity, as far as documentation goes, I have a readme file included. 15514

Gaming / Re: What the fuck happened?« on: March 16, 2015, 04:11:44 PM »That build looks so much better than the final product...and bosses dropping loot that you can equip right away? That's what the game needed instead of going back to the Tower to the Cryptarch. I agree actually. Even on PS4 the game still feels very limited and incomplete. 15516

Gaming / What the fuck happened?« on: March 16, 2015, 03:55:45 PM »YouTube Looking back at this now, I cannot wrap my head around why Activision ordered Bungie to cut out so many things out of this build for the final game, they had everything all setup. And if it wasn't Activison and was Bungie's idea, I don't get why. Also.... $500 million dollars was a fuck load of money, they made their money back but still. Can someone tell me what was wrong with this? I don't hate what we have now for Destiny, but it went from "Hey, this is probably going to be a good game" to "Meeehhh, it has no story but still a better love story than twilight." Don't you just hate it when all the good shit gets cut? 15518

If Halo 5's campaign is as well-written as 4's then I'll be happy. Pretty much. I also believe that the game was made with an earlier version of Destiny's engine. 15521

If Halo 5's campaign is as well-written as 4's then I'll be happy. That's debatable actually. AI code for allies is far from perfect. Fucking Kat drove the warthog off the cliff. Also, the cut scenes may have been nice, but some of them had frame rate issues. That could be more of a hardware limitation than software though. 15523

I'm sure they know than some kid HTML, CSS, UnityJS. I'm not a real programmer if that's what you're thinking. I'm more on the art side when it comes to this stuff. If you were confused about pathways, I meant file directories, it was disorganized and I had to enable hidden folders in order to move them around and properly export the map with all of it's contents. It took fucking forever because 3DS Max was being stubborn. I had tuts for making a map but I had no tut to fix 3DS Max's exporting, that was something I had to figure out on my own until I finally got the fucking thing to work in the Halo 2 engine. I read that it has something to do with Guerrilla or Seipan, but either way something was up. 15529

And I agree. 15533

That's the last person I want to be with. I don't like Phil Fish for so many reasons and I refuse to buy any of his products. He comes off as very unprofessional. By community I meant the overall community of things, not just Sep7agon. 15534

Gaming / I'm starting to feel like I shouldn't continue making anything« on: March 16, 2015, 01:50:18 PM »
Just with the recent feedback of how people label me as a wannabe dev after everything I have learned so far, I feel like what's the point of continuing if this crowd is going to keep throwing me under the same label?
Sometimes I just wonder if I should continue, let alone continue to learn anything new a this point in the world of game development. I'm not going to stop anytime soon, but I wouldn't call myself a wannabe, I'd say I'm intermediate at best. I don't get the hate honestly. Yeah they're just Unity projects (that personally I find unfinished and sucky) I never stated that I make AAA games, and I have yet to work on a AAA project for the masses. There was one time in my life after having a really shitty instructor telling us to not do anything and good outside, he was suppose to teach us Unreal, but he was really bad at it. He was not a dev at all like my last professor who has been in the industry. He was so bad I was tempted to throw my entire portfolio in the bin and just get rid of my games and consoles. If I didn't take another class with my old professor, which had something new to offer, I would have lost all of my passion. I feel like I'm in a slightly similar state now with video games, but it's more community orientated than anything. I want to hear your thoughts should I continue to learn and practice game development, or should I just call it quits? 15537

It also says a lot about Bungie. Well, then the lesson here is to not sell any of the stuff you have from last gen if you really enjoyed them. 15538
