Yeah well I have none of that. The only fascination I really have is certain sounds and music. Just listening to this or heck pretty much anything that my ear finds pleasing I like, I don't just listen to something. I dissect the sounds in my head in a sense, like I filter out what I want to hear more in a song or sound sometimes, and usually when I listen to a song a million times, sometimes I hear shit in the background that I haven't heard before. And I do have perfect pitch in music still so I would be able to tell you pretty much every note that you make when you play a musical instrument, and I can tell all the notes in this video too. I believe that if I didn't have my autism, I wouldn't have this curse with sounds and music, so in one sense, I'm glad with what I got and how I am. Anyone here that says otherwise just doesn't understand because they themselves haven't seen it in a first person perspective. So what's your take on sounds and music?

This guide works for Windows, OS X, and Linux. With the release of Aleph One 1.0 on December 1st, 2011, the hitherto-confusing installation process has been streamlined dramatically. Curated community plugins have been bundled with the game files into a single download for each game. Get your Marathon here!If you wish to find alternatives or additions to the bundled plugins, check out Simplici7y. The site is active, with new content submitted regularly. It should also be noted that Marathon 2: Durandal is available for purchase from the Xbox Live Arcade. Useful StuffInstruction Manuals, Plot, and Walkthroughs The instruction manuals are available as pdfs. They make for interesting reads. > Marathon Instruction Manual> Marathon 2: Durandal Instruction Manual> Marathon Infinity Instruction ManualA comprehensive summary of the plot, as well as all terminal messages, may be found on this site (scroll down the sidebar to the left to navigate by game/level). If you get stuck, refer to the Marathon Spoiler Guide. You may also use this to find all the hidden areas. Alternatively (and only for Marathon 2), BerserkerBarage has created a very nice series of video walkthroughs, found here. The Preferences MenuBefore starting the game, walk through the preferences menu. You'll probably want to change your control scheme to use the mouse to aim. Also, take a look at the keyboard layout - of particular importance is the Map key, which brings up a map of the area you have explored so far. While you're there, an old trick is to make caps lock your Run key, so you can toggle it instead of having to hold it down (note that Always Run is turned on by default). Tips & Tricks You can start playing at any level from the main menu. Hold ctrl + shift then start a new game, and you will be presented with a list of levels. Note, however, that you will only start with a couple clips for the magnum and your fists. Hangbrain has written a very nice summary of gameplay tricks found here.MultiplayerAll the Marathon games have online play capabilities, including the Xbox Live version. There's likely to be a few people online at any given time, but for a more structured experience you should check out For Carnage Apply Within, which is a very active group that organizes matches. The Community and ExtrasMarathon Scenarios Marathon has a dedicated and surprisingly active modding community. Many fan-made scenarios exist for you to play, with some approaching the quality of the original games. > Marathon: ResurrectionA full remake of the original Marathon in the Unreal engine. Requires a copy of Unreal Tournament to play. > Marathon: Eternal (link is dead)Eternal picks up the story hundreds of years after the original Marathon. Using Jjaro technology, you and your A.I. travel back in time to the colony ship shortly before the Pfhor assault begins. Amazing music. > Marathon: RubiconImpressive in its scope, Rubicon features multiple storylines and endings depending on your choices. > Marathon: EvilYour starship crashes on a planet inhabited by strange and terrifying creatures. > Marathon: RedAfter your patrol ship comes across a Pfhor cruiser drifting in space, a boarding excursion goes horribly wrong. Community WebsitesThe following is a list of websites you should look into if you're interested in joining the community. If you have experience programming, making 3D models, or manipulating images, your contributions would be appreciated! > Marathon.Bungie.orgThe hub of the Marathon community, major news such as the release of new scenarios or items of general interest are posted here. > Marathon Open SourceHome of the Aleph One project. Watch this site for update releases and other news. > Simplici7yThe current home for all user-created map packs, mods, and utilities. Have a look around - it's likely you'll find at least a few interesting things. Perhaps someday you'll submit your own. > The PfhorumsHome for general discussion of Marathon with heavy emphasis on scripts, mods, and scenarios, the Pfhorums is where the minds that made this possible congregate. If you wish to contribute to the community, declare your interest here. Other Bungie GamesThe Marathon Trilogy is the most recent game series to have been freewared by Bungie. Oni and the Myth series unfortunately possess the twin misfortunes of being hard to find and illegal to download, so the best you can do is find them on an online store or play the demos. The main obstacle to playing even older Bungie games is that they were all written for now-obsolete Apple computers from the early 90's. The only way you are able to play these is through emulation (which will not be discussed here) or through the use of an actual Apple computer from that era. The games themselves are all freeware, and may be downloaded from the following pages: > Gnop!> Operation: Desert Storm> Minotaur: The Labyrinths of Crete> Pathways into Darkness Notes Original thread by Tycho 41 49. Thread ported from Bungie.old. R.I.P BerserkerBarage

Discuss your hatred as to why you hate people in this thread, such as, who do you hate? Why do you hate them?
Personally I hate the entire human species. Now I make 1 or 2 exceptions, but aside from that humanity is cancer. Especially those that like to advertise crappy products to you, those are the worst.
What about you?

Hopefully this never happens to any of you, but just a hypothetical. Turns out you got a rare illness, it can't be cured. The doctor says you have about 6 months to live.
What would you do with your last 6 months. I think I'd just tell everyone my goodbyes while I'm still alive and just spend my remaining time with family and go to places I haven't gone to before.
What about you?

The reason why I'm on here is not because I'm addicted, it's because I'm bored just like the rest of you.
Why else would you be here?
And that professor alt account can go fuck itself.
Oh and as for Coup.... I thought about it long and hard.... Not happening. Not because Sep7agon doesn't need it, but after all that, Sep7agon doesn't deserve it.
That is all.
Oh, and I disabled notifications on my end until it gets one hell of a overhual.

I'm bringing Coup here no matter what you say. Call it unnecessary, but you know what? Like the True mute script, I want it and I'll deliver. In case you haven't realized, I do not have Mythic, and I'm not going to invest a full day to slowly get it months later implying that downvoting prevents you from getting it.
If you're not a Mythdick member and you wish to partake in the upcoming Sep7agon coup preview once I get the ball rolling, post here saying you want coup for a guaranteed spot. Otherwise just piss off.
Discuss stupid Mythdicks, Coup, and stupid members.

Well... It was by our own hand, turned out the world kept turning, only we ended. All the evidence was there, the punishment of our faith, creating animosity between our brethren. The dissolution of the humanity in all cultures, the reluctance of acceptance for others.
Bigotry, ignorance and narrow mindedness, destroying our world. Power to kill, death of free will. A system above and beyond the law.

Really heated. I feel really betrayed right now to the point where posting a middle finger feels justified in my mind.
Seriously, what the fuck was that? I thought Anarchy content was a bannable offense. That's one of the many sentences I regret writing on here and some people just don't bother letting go.
I'm sorry but you pecker fuckers that keep this kind of shit going, long after I try to be fresh with you, deserve an actual kick in the fucking jaw, to the point where you won't even be able to chew your own fucking food anymore.

No. I didn't fix it. The fix is impossible on this thing. I've done everything I could possibly do. No dice.
I didn't want to pay $200 for another 4S.
Instead, this is what I ended up doing. I went on Ebay and found an exact replacement (4S, Black 16GB Verizon phone ESM free) for a total of $111.99
Since I had a job, I used the remaining money I had left to order it. The phone is in mint condition and is stated in the description that it has no scratches and works perfectly. Looked at the photos of it, it looked practically brand new, people were watching it.
When this phone gets here, I'll have it activated by Verizon without a problem. As for my current phone that I have right now.... That's going to be my test iPhone since it's still useable like an iPod touch.
So yeah. This was the only fix for my problem since there is no real fix. It's to buy another one because Apple says fuck you we can't fix it and Verizon says you're fine it's Apple's fault go talk to them and blah blah blah blah.
Oh, and Apple unlocked my phone when they shouldn't have, because when I got home I got a prompt when plugging it into iTunes saying "congratulations your iPhone is unlocked."
So.... Yeah.
That is all.
So what's the moral of the story here that I had to learn? If it's not broken, Don't Fucking Fix it!
Anyway, if you don't care, just don't reply to this thread. Simple. Otherwise it shoes that deep down when you say "no one cares" it means you do care. <3

So... I still have no service on it. At least partial service to be exact. I went to the genius bar for my appointment today. According to them the software was optimal and that this could be a possible 3G antenna issue, but I don't think that's the case. My guess is something got unlinked, though Verizon my provider says they don't use the sim card for the 3G and that I'm connected according to them. I found out that the Sim card is only there for the voicemail, which btw my phone reads no Sim card when I try to check my voicemail. This shit is not provisioned. Long story short, phone has it's warranty expired, costs $200 to get a replacement iPhone 4s. .....Yeeeahh Fuck that. I'm better off getting a better phone 7 months from now. I can still make phone calls and whatnot over WiFi. No 3G. I am also not the only one with this problem... clearly. http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1656729This is the thanks I get after downgrading to 8.1.2 yesterday because 8.1.3 was being problematic. And after updating back to 8.1.3, it didn't fix it, and today, Apple stopped signing 8.1.2, so now I'm really fucked. Fuck Apple, fuck the iPhone and Fuck this shit. My iPhone now is nothing more but a fucking iPod Touch now, and the really fucked up part is I already own an iPod Touch, and I'm going to use that more instead, but all of my apps that require iOS 7 won't install since mine is 4th gen which is locked to 6.1.6. I never jailbroke my iPhone, only my iPod Touch, which is no longer jailbroken since jailbreaking causes the device to slow down over time due to the extra scripts. Even possible crashing when booting up. Has anything this stupid ever happen to you? Discuss.

I made an appointment with them today. Long story short I attempted to downgrade my phone from 8.1.3 to 8.1.2
What happened next was unexpected. My carrier says no service. I thought it was a bug with the OS itself. So I upgraded back to 8.1.3, Still says no service. Somehow my cell service got reket. I don't know why. iOS 8.1.2 is still signed and I didn't do anything that counts as tampering unless it's jailbreaking, which I did not do.
What's really weird is that since I have Verizon, I dialed *228. It activates it, but it only works on WiFi. If I turn the cellular option on and off, it goes back to no service. Which would mean I'd have to dial *228 again. It's not a service issue because people can still call me normally but my phone won't ring unless it's on WiFi after *228 dialed. Like my 3G got fucked or something.
So tomorrow at 1:00pm PDT, I'm going to have a chat with Apple, see if they can fix my problem. If they are unable to fix the issue, I'll just have to talk to my sister to have one of my older non-smart phones activated until September for my next upgrade. Or just not have a phone until September.
I've tried everything from reinserting the SIM card to resetting the whole phone to factory defaults. Nothing.
If there is one thing I learned, it's that I am never fucking with iOS devices again. I'm done with that shit.
