YouTube This homeless guy Danny has potential, and that's a beat up Squire that's been through a lot of shit. Not to mention the way this guy has his amp powered up. Hope he can at least make something of his life, people being homeless in general is a big problem in this country, all I know is that if it wasn't for my family, I'd be homeless right now. 153

The Flood / I feel like I see myself winding up alone.« on: April 24, 2016, 11:47:29 PM »
Maybe this is just my low self esteem kicking in and talking, but I feel like I'm not going to have a future with anyone. Nobody wants me anyway, I'm not that important to anyone. Pretty sure I was destined to be alone from the beginning.
In this day and age its just hard to find a girl that's in tune with similar tastes and interest. Everyone these days just loves to party and get drunk and that just isn't me fam. That just isn't me. Granted I enjoy the hell out of concerts but parties and booze isn't my thing at all. I would never pull a Roman and go to a bar though, lol. But yeah, in this day and age, I feel like there is no right girl or ideal girl and that she just doesn't exist. :/ 155
Serious / April 24th - The Armenian Genocide« on: April 24, 2016, 02:09:59 AM »
Its now been 101 years since many Armenians, including my lost ancestors haven been murdered and treated like animals by the ottoman empire.
Will there ever be a day where the US, let alone the rest of the world finally recognize this crime? Will Turkey ever finally get educated on this issue? Or will things stay the same and the Turkish government keep lying to them? I don't hold a grudge to Turkey, but I believe this deserves recognition and should be brought up in history. After all, that's what I and many other Armenians would want. With that said, please civilly discuss this issue if you wish to leave a reply in this thread. If things go out of control or trolling takes place on the subject matter, I won't hesitate to report you or if need be call a mod to lock the thread. 156

The Flood / Birthdays are not important to celebrate after 21« on: April 23, 2016, 08:49:51 PM »
In my personal opinion at least. I mean what's the point? You're another year older. So? We're only getting closer and closer to death. If you're under 21, enjoy them while you still can because you're not going to have parties and have it be a big celebration anymore after 21. At least that's how I see it fit. 21 was the age for me where I finally am legal enough to drink and gamble even, where I finally have full permissions as an adult, I don't need to be a certain age just to do something anymore, unless I run for president, then I have to be at least 35, but fuck that shit.
My point is, even before I was 21, birthdays in general kinda died out for me in celebrating. When I was a kid, birthdays and Christmas and New Years would be the excuse for me to get shit I've always wanted because I never had the money for it. Now that isn't the case anymore. If I want something, I personally pay for it. If I don't have the money, I work my ass off to save up and get it, or I put it on my credit card since that's monthly payments and it builds credit. I don't have to really ask for gifts anymore because honestly anything I ever wanted currently, I pretty much bought it with my money, either from money I have from my previous jobs or from my last financial aid money before it got cut again. I'm now keeping my fingers crossed that I get this one job that actually pays really well and isn't retail, so I can get more stuff and pay off the small debt I'm in. I say small because its nothing compared to how much debt most Americans are under. I know people that over $80,000 in debt. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if that's how much money I owed. So yeah... while its nice to get free things from loved ones and friends, I'm not someone that has a sense of entitlement and honestly, I always prefer to earn the things I want rather than to receive it as a gift. Granted when I was a kid this was the ONLY way I could get things I wanted to get by waiting for birthdays and whatnot, until I finally got to legal working age here. To those of you that are under 21, what do you plan on doing on your 21st birthday? To everyone else, just enjoy life. Birthdays will always be there but we all know its not the same once you reach a certain age. I guess you can say its just part of growing up. 158

The Flood / Debating on starting another proboards forum.« on: April 22, 2016, 03:31:19 AM »
Where really the only rules would be the Proboards TOS itself. Meaning no additional rules and members could basically do whatever they want so long as the site doesn't shut down.

The Flood / You know something? I change my mind« on: April 22, 2016, 03:04:12 AM »
Verbatim can be mod. Might as well since the rest of the staff decided to ban Kupo for leaking pointless information. Most of us here already know what happened 2 years ago, and it doesn't take a genius to figure out how IP bans work.
Seriously what did Kupo do wrong again? Post something that all of us already know? I've known this shit since like 2014. Oh and word of advice on editing the title guys. I can still see the original title in the address bar. Thank you Cheat for making it easy. 161
The Flood / If Verbatim is ever made into a moderator on here...« on: April 21, 2016, 07:02:53 PM »
I promise you guys I will drop this site entirely. I won't even acknowledge that it even exists, me CIS and every other person here that is in their right mind that has a redeemable factor would leave.
Verbatim is already hard to deal with as a member, having him as mod would be worse than having Kiyo again, and let's not forget what a mistake Kiyo was. I'd post this in the Sep7agon board but that board is dead. I don't think Verbatim would ever been considered or voted into mod, but I'm telling you this now. It would be a terrible idea knowing the kind of person he is on here. Let's also not forget that when I first joined here, Verbatim was banned for a very long time and he was in the same group as Le Dustin, Kinder, Based Love, Camnator, etc. So whoever or whenever there is another mod election, vote wisely if Verbatim ends up on that list. 162
The Flood / You can only pick one« on: April 20, 2016, 10:44:06 AM »
You can only pick one ethnic group of to get rid of. Since today is 420 I'm going to go ahead and make a poll since I haven't made one in a while.
Keep in mind this ethnic group will be gone from the world forever. Since I'm the only Armenian here, voting Armenians will get rid of me entirely, my forum account wouldn't exist and I never become a meme to begin with because no one would know who I am because all Armenians are dead. If you vote for Jews you remove Cheat from existence meaning that Sep7agon doesn't exist because all Jews are dead. Spoiler I know that Cheat is not a real Jew but for the sake of the game let's just say he is Which do you pick and why? I know that Option 1 is going to be voted the most, but fuck it. Gotta have some fun on this god awful day, and sometimes I need to make fun of myself. Vote away. 163
The Flood / I think I'm beginning to outgrow Sep7agon« on: April 19, 2016, 02:30:41 AM »
"Oh great another Deci thread, someone please fucking poke my eyes out"
Don't worry I'm probably not going to make another thread after this. Probably. Ever since I signed up here 2 years go from hearing about this place on B.lind, I decided to check it out. Saw Flee, decided to sign up because he was a familiar face. Then I done fucked up, posted a lot of retarded stupid shit, admitted many things about myself that I probably should never have to begin with, fucked up a lot of relationships with the people here, pretty much branded myself as the infamous punchline, Sep7agon's very own special meme. I've always been someone that's defensive and gets easily upset when others laugh at me. Now I just accept it and in some cases make fun of myself because why care? Who gives a shit? Anyway, for the 2 years I've been here well, 1 in a half if you want to be exact, I don't know. Maybe I'm beginning to slowly lose interest here. I don't pop my head in here all the time anymore, and when I do its just to see how you guys have been and stuff. I think I'm just tired of the memes, and the lack of new content. I mean, its the same old shit really. Verbatim writing negative reviews about threads people make and correcting everyone's grammar like he's some kind of film critic or whatever, Chally posting retired memes that 4chan would already call old, Cheat being busy with his job, LC pretty much being the new Isara just minus the architect role, members telling others to post more, only to tell others to quit shitposting, and Roman with the saga of him getting rejected again and shit. Its like its the same song and dance, it doesn't really change. Okay we're missing Lemon, but honestly, Lemon had the same song and dance with the shitposting. I mean he had some great threads on the Gaming board but here and Serious, not so much. Maybe you guys will turn this into another copypasta and have it read on Vocaroo or whatever and go "hahaha Deci is at it again with his sperging" because you guys are predictable like clockwork now. There isn't anything new to anticipate to here anymore. I have the infamous role of being a lowcow on here and everyone else has their roles. Yet its the same song and dance. No anticipation, nothing new on here anymore. Just.... meh. Am I beginning to outgrow the Sep7agon community? 165
The Flood / Loaf is my most disappointing experiment« on: April 14, 2016, 12:37:31 PM » Warning Graphic Image of Test Subject 5 years ago working in my lab, I decided to run a trial on human cloning. Nobody wanted to be the guinea pig so it was up to me to volunteer myself. I ran a test simulation and on paper, it was a success that I would be fully cloned with no alterations. Unfortunately, the Deci Alpha clone who calls himself Loaf now did not work out as intended. For one his features varied from mine, so he doesn't look exactly like me. He's close, but not exact. For instance, I don't have any chest hair, the clone does. The clone is also a lot skinnier than I am so that indicates he wasn't developed properly in the chamber After the embryo was finished developing, something was wrong. There was an ooze of green slime all over the floor. He already had fragments of my thoughts implemented into him, so he was already able to speak, read and write as a basic function, that part worked out, but what happened next was not what I in turn expected. He understood sarcasm and was cruel to people and animals. He destroyed hundreds of dollars of lab equipment, knocked me out unconscious and fled. I didn't bother calling the police because if I told them that I created this abomination of mankind, I'd be in some major deep shit since human cloning is illegal. Now, on this very site, my clone has a life of his own. I don't know how he found Sep7agon but he seems to have forgotten that I created him. He has no idea that he also carries my autism. He's pretty much every single thing that is bad about me, if not he has his own worse traits. He was suppose to be a benefit to mankind, but he turned out to be cancer, and its all my fault. So I'm sorry... Sep7agon. I created a monster. Its going to require a bounty hunter to stop him now. I'm too old for this shit. Loaf... please come back..... for science! 166

Only to find out one of our own got not only robbed but beaten badly, and knowing Sandtrap's current condition, he isn't exactly able to defend himself and that makes him an easy target. I really hope the cops catch those fuckers, and if I ever see them out here, I'll personally beat the shit out of them for Sandtrap. Sandtrap you didn't deserve any of this shit to happen to you. I want you guys to wish Sandtrap well whenever he's here. This is the last thing he needed and honestly nobody here should ever been in this kind of situation. Fuck these pieces of human shit. And I thought attending a so called "financial seminar" was bad today. Pieces of human shit walks in all life I suppose. I'm gonna go drink a shot and try to calm down because I'm not Explosion Imminent anymore. I'll be back later. 168

The Flood / I sometimes wonder when I'm going to die« on: April 11, 2016, 04:19:03 AM »
I know it will happen eventually, but chances are I'll never see it coming. Honestly, who knows when I'm going to die? I can die tomorrow from some kind of accident, could get cancer and only have 6 months to be on this rock, or I can live a long life and die at 90.
Or I could be pushed so far deep into trauma that the only way I would see fit to ease the mental pain is to kill myself, and believe me I am a strong mentally fit individual so something SUPER devastating and traumatic would have to trigger my own suicide. What about you? Do you ever wonder when you're going to die? 171
The Flood / Just how obsolete is our technology in general? (warning really long read)« on: April 10, 2016, 01:38:51 AM »
The internet is a perfect example of this for instance. Its been in development since the late 60s but it wasn't publicly available to anyone known as the "World Wide Web" (ie www.website.com) until about 1994 and yet when you look at it back in 94-95, hell even in 98, it used to be a lot different compared to how things are now, and information always gets updated right? The internet always updates and improves, but just how fast would people really consider an update to be an update?
Sep7agon is a good example of this too. The forum was in the alpha stage when it first started or "vanilla Sep7agon" as I'd like to call it, where the text was actually in black as you're writing your post and the background was pure white, I know this because regardless of the account creation date on my account here, I did originally join on September 12, 2014, in fact I still have a screenshot I took back in the day when my YouTube button wasn't showing up: Early Sep7 Compared to that screenshot, this website now has a skin on its own forum writing editor right? Pretty modern compared to the screenshot I posted which was kinda bare bones at the time, but just how modern is modern really? Even the like button now is different: Early Sep7 Posts Disclaimer to staff This is the only image I have of Vanilla Sep7agon when looking at the posts, I know this is from Anarchy and apparently leaking Anarchy content is a big no no, but as far as I'm concerned, Kinder isn't even active anymore so that rule can be bent. Otherwise I will call bullshit for any warning/ban because of one photo of mine that I never shared publicly got out somehow into Anarchy by someone I didn't know who exactly at the time but do now, and in turn leaked onto The Flood and Sep7agon boards even to this day of this year, so don't give me that pep talk about leaking Anarchy content from over 2 years ago, because I'm not breaking the rule I'm bending it, just like how others can also bend it. Also, this is Nuka's screenshot that Nuka sent me back then. Anyway, on with my thread... And this is just Sep7agon. Let's go as far back as Windows Operating Systems... Windows 10 And this is the latest OS right now, 2nd version even, and probably the highest edition available, which you won't normally find for purchase at any computer place perhaps, probably because my version of Windows 10 is intended more so for IT business rather than for home use, but I could use the extra security and features. This is neither Windows 10 Home or Pro which you can get via the free upgrade. Its Enterprise. I got a bargain deal on getting Windows 10 Enterprise vs buying a volume license from Microsoft for Windows 10 Enterprise, like I got it for stupid cheap. This was back when I had the money so don't worry about how I got it, thing is its legit, and if there are any skeptics I can prove that's what I'm running, and if the screens don't convince you, just ask Cheat since I'm very sure he has info on my computer because I use Firefox, at least that's the rumor I heard where if you use Firefox to get on here, Cheat knows your computer. Anyway, is this considered obsolete already? Heck lets go back even further. Windows 8 and 8.1 Some of you guys still use Windows 8 or 8.1 even due to the irrational fear of MS and the NSA collecting all your data and whatnot. Guess what? You're already fucked. Every Windows OS is closed source, you don't know what kind of proprietary code MS can have in their previous versions even, heck we don't even see what's being processed in the background at least 98% of the time, unless its a program that we opened, so if you're that paranoid about it I would start using Linux Mint because with that you can not only see the open source code, you have complete access to it and can change it even, but Linux is not Windows, and if you don't want Linux... get a Mac... Which is also closed source but should calm your paranoia a bit. What's Mac? But back to Windows OS's, here's something that I'd assume at least 98% of you decide to stay with as your PC OS: Windows 7 This is pretty much the new Windows XP for you guys, you stick with it because it works and its what you fall back on, but even looking it at an appearance level, doesn't it already look dated? I mean it came out in 2009, and if that's considered dated, I'm not done, like I said in the title this is quite a long read. I'm skipping the OS in 2007 by MS because it was a complete fucking mistake, and I wish both my brother-in-law and sister would at least move to Windows 7. Its so bad I'm not even going to say its name, but if you've used it before like I have, you know exactly which OS I'm talking about and how many headaches the fucking thing gave you let alone made your PC run like utter shit not even letting you play half of your fucking music...Okay I'm getting sidetracked, lets move on. Just don't say the V word. <_< Windows XP Yeah I'm already experiencing Nostalgia with Windows XP, considering I was 8-10 in the early 2000s and a teenager by the mid 2000s. If you're still using this, I hope you're using the 64 bit version on the lastest service pack with at least having Avast being your anti virus to protect it, because support for the longest operating system in use ended exactly yesterday 2 years ago, and so many businesses and companies including Bank of America until recently was using XP on their ATMs before MS decided to abandon it, so if you are going to use XP, its already outdated but I'd still say just as usable as Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 so I wouldn't tell you that its at dinosaur level yet, that is unless you're running the base OS and not any of the service packs in 32-bit, then you're running a dinosaur. Browsers like Firefox still support Windows XP so you're good, but MS and the majority of the world considers it oudated, and Windows 7 extended Support by MS is going to end in 2020 so we still have quite a way to go. The V word is going to lose its extended support by MS next year, and it makes me wish it already lost it. It was such a mistake it should have never seen the light of day. So Windows XP is fairly outdated and now considered to be old by many people, to the point where the early versions are considered to be dinos. Well if you think Windows XP is old, the next OS is going to really change your mind. Forget ME, Forget 2000, Hell forget 98 even, considering they all look the same or similar when compared to... Windows 95 Holy shit. This is the operating system that set the standard for modern Windows Operating System's today. The last time I used Windows 95 on a now really old computer that no longer exists in my home was back when I was 5 in 1998 shortly before my brother decided to get a new computer with Windows 98, this was also the age where I begin to tinker and screw with Windows, because unlike now where you can just easily turn off your computer by pushing the power button, back then you had to go to the Start menu and hit shutdown, and a message would pop up in orange saying "It is now safe to turn off your computer" because it wouldn't just switch off, by that point it was safe to press the power button. I made the mistake of not doing that to the family computer and let's just say my brother was pretty pissed at me about it for doing that since he bought the computer, that pretty much taught me to always shut down using the start menu, and even though I know now I can just press the power button on my tower, I still do it the old fashioned way by going to the start menu and shutting it down that way, only difference is it switches off automatically compared to back then. This was also the age where we still used Floppy disks Floppy This was before flashdrives/pendrives were even invented let alone the invention of the Universal Serial Bus (USB) and now we're pretty much on the cloud when it comes to storage. Anyway, if you're actually running Windows 95 on your primary computer, and I don't mean running it on a virtual machine, I mean that is your main OS and nothing else, then I have no idea how you're even on Sep7agon right now. Windows 95, 98, 2000, ME, they're dinosaurs now. I would be surprised if they can load Sep7agon let alone the rest of today's internet without any issues. And I'm going to stop there with the Windows OS's because if I continue on with Windows NT, and Windows 1-3.0, MS DOS and so on... I would need to write an entire book and get paid for that, not write something that long and constructive on an internet forum, which brings us back to forums... Just how obsolete is our style of forums? Bungie considered it rather obsolete when they gave up their old layout for the new clusterfuck they have and consider that to be the modern approach while we are considered to be obsolete, but it isn't even that either. Forums like this won't even attract most teenagers today, modern social sites like Facebook, Twitter, hell even Reddit is where most would rather go, and Bungie since they're trying to keep up with the times. Hell, I overheard someone's teenage daughter telling them that Facebook is for old people, so by the standards of most teenagers, Facebook is already old and obsolete. YouTube has been around since 2005 and since that has gone through so many bullshit changes, its still somehow current. So with all of this said, just how outdated is our software let alone hardware? Why do we decide that certian hardware and software is already considered outdated, much like how the iPhone 6 is now considered "useless" and the 6s is the way to go and so on so forth. Who are we to decide that factor when the current technology we have right now at this exact moment in this exact time could possibly be outdated within a day? In other words never be in dated, technology has come very far since most of us were even alive and yet we're struggling to keep up with it and have already reached a gap in design and features in my opinion. I mean, just back to Windows OS's MS said that Windows 10 is the last official release they plan on doing and it will be updated from now on in the future, have we really reached that cap? At least with Windows? And even design wise, I feel like we are going backwards, back to simplicity instead of what was once considered modern in the early 2000s, and back in the 90s when we didn't even have a proper UI. Honestly we don't even know what kind of technology the United States government has now, for all we know whatever they have could mean what we have now is beyond planned obsolescence even. So if you made it this far, what do you guys think? Is our technology already ready to go to the dumpster the moment it is out? What are we even going to have next that's going to blow forums and current computing into the stone age even? Its crazy how much shit has changed and will continue to change throughout the years to come. Thanks for reading if you managed to read all of this. I sincerely appreciate it if you did, if not that's fine, not everyone here likes to read long threads so I don't blame you. I worked pretty hard on this thread making sure its all ready and proof read this myself many times hitting the preview button making sure its all good, and I know its a long read but at least its a constructive thread (I hope.) Okay. Here is a hypothetical worst case scenario I'm trying out. If this ends up becoming a big hit, I might try other members in the long run. I'd like to think everyone just has one answer but I'm sure the results will be different, so here it goes.
I'm in the middle of the woods, its about -15 degrees below freezing so its snowing and really cold. Despite me wearing winter gear, my body isn't used to the extreme cold and I collapse. I'm still conscious but completely disoriented and incapacitated. If I don't get any medical attention I will be dead, and aside from you there is no one else around, You happen to be hiking in the woods the same time this is happening, and you're not only wearing the right gear but you are perfectly adapted to the cold. You see me and approach to me, I tell you who I am and you recognize me from Sep7agon, and you see that I'm freezing and am a total mess. So you now have the knowledge that its me, do you call for help and get me to the nearest hospital or do you just leave me there to die? What would you do? 176

No one has any respect anymore or really any manners left. Everyone is rather barbaric, snarky, and just flat out rude. People these days are so undisciplined, they talk and walk like utter trash. Don't even get me started with the people that walk with their pants so low that their underwear is showing even. Smh.
Oh and if you act upon any form of Modern Chivalry to any man or woman, its apparently now considered a negative thing and is very sexist. I don't even know where to begin with that. What the hell happened? |
