Nope, Wii U/3DS updates are pretty fast and scarce.

So far I have a new pair of shoes, Devil Survivor Overclocked, and Bayonetta 2. The rest of the gifts I'd be getting today are coming this evening.

You can use caestus on a boxing run though, it's limited to bare knuckle and fist based weapons.

All it does is make every boss fifty years to beat, especially the dickish ones, AKA every one around Lost Izalith.

I'd describe Tetris as being an actively constructed puzzle, where as most puzzles (especially physical ones) are passive or preconstructed. The preconstructed puzzles, such as the Tower of Hanoi (which I absolutely loathe), are all about the destination. Active puzzles are about the journey.

Tetris has always made me anxious, there's no real winning or solving it. You just see how long it takes you to lose.
well yeah, it's a "high score" game, a relic of the retro era, which, as you know, i hold dear

i would make the argument that zelda (any of them) is an engaging AND passive puzzle game

and while it's obviously not strictly a puzzle game, it is the closest thing i can think of to really nail it
Zelda has passive puzzles that are interspersed with "tactical" combat, which at least in the 3D games could be considered close to a puzzle if you want to speak in hyperbole.

But Verb, doesn't your complaint about Portal's brand of fun extend to puzzles in general? That's how most are anyway.

I'm not going to like Half-Life, at all. lol

I'm only in it for the story.
Story is good, but it's one of those things that have been done a thousand times since then and seems derivative now in comparison.

It's a geek xD culture game. Like Zelda (but not as good) it's a good game, but the meme spouting and "fanbase" around it are intolerable.
Did you just compare the Portal fanbase to the Zelda fanbase?...
fanbase is in quotes for a reason. I'm talking about the "fanbase", not the fanbase. I doubt half of the "fanbase" of those games have ever played a single game and just want to establish "gamer-cred", like it's a thing to define yourself with.

Only monsters don't weed their yards. What's the point of having one if you won't take care of it?

He also employees foreigners and runs his business out of country to minimize costs, therefore cutting a large job market that hardworking, country loving Americans can't fill. Then again, he also buys a lot of presents, but they're mostly foreign products like your Samsungs and Sonies.

Only on nuzlocks or theme teams
didn't you say that nuzlockes are the hardest thing to do in a video game

even though they're piss-easy
not as easy as the dark souls tutorial

This is still going on?
It's a slow-building battle that escalates into all out war.

I'll join Das' circlejerk, but as a doll with no romantic intentions.

No lesbians allowed.
Dolls have no romantic feelings or aspirations to relationships. They require too much energy.
