The only thing I miss about Bungie.net is that during the good times we thought we were better than and/or at least as important as that site, and I didn't have to deal with its influence in any serious way. We had our own culture. Sep7agon is just a whore. A filthy, filthy whore.

No we didn't. The newfags always tried to compare us to 4chan and the oldfags always told them to shut up. Flood culture was basically a 4chan-lite for the most part anyway as most of the memes that place used were old and washed up 4chan ones.

Hell people even greentexted on b.old without even knowing where it came from or what it even meant.
We remember it differently or had different experiences.

Considering I was on b.net for 11 years I'm pretty sure you're just glamorizing what was essentially a cesspit. It was a fun cesspit and I liked it, but it was still a cesspit.

The PC Fanboyism isn't evident here at all.

Most people on this website have a PC and not many people have next gen consoles from what I recall.

Really?

I am under the impression it is the opposite.

By most people own a PC I mean most people own a computer capable of running source games. Not everyone has a gaming rig. Also most game nights have been on last gen hardware from what I recall.

Ehh, I can't even run the first half life at a smooth frame rate.

But the point is that most everyone here owns a console, even a 360.

Hell, people seem to love Halo 3 and nostalgia its customs but I never see anyone want to play that.

Regardless, my point still stands; there are 3 console games vs. 6 PC. One of the console games can only have 5 players, one barely works and one is, from what I've seen, played to death.

I don't think it's Brutes fault that PC is the most accessible platform for people. Also considering that Brute is primarily a console gamer I'm fairly certain he isn't a PC fanboy.

It isn't the most accessible.

Like, PC can run better and whatnot, but consoles are much more accessible.

Anyway, I'm stopping this one now before this just becomes a pc/ console war because t's something I really can't be arsed with.

I'm talking about the fact that just about everybody and their mother owns a PC and source games are notorious for their low system requirements.

lol

Brah, your average pre-built computer from dell can run a source game.

The only asian in FF7 that's actually a proper asian.

Even if FF7 is my favorite of the series, I can easily say the game is overrated.
I can't.
Can't wat? You disagree? Come on, it really is.
Best story. Best characters. Best music. Best world and art direction. You can argue combat.
I can also disagree on the world, art, and music. FF7 obviously has One Winged Angel, but FF as an entire series has amazing music. Hell, even 13 has great music and I hated that game.

As for characters, I love em yeah, but Cloud... ugh.
This is subjective.

It appeals to me and has helped to shape my tastes. I like Cloud, he's a cool guy.
You say it's subjective as if disregarding my points. Literally our whole conversation on it is subjective.
For me, all the music after VII sounds like it's trying too hard to live up to the music of VII.

I'm sorry you think things like Back to Zanarkand and 12's rendition of the main theme are just trying too hard.
I did offer a close to the discussion ;)

Oh come on nigga, you can't deny that FF13-2s "Ruined Hometown" both aggressive and normal aren't good. That shit just fits the atmosphere of Oreba so god damn well.

I didn't play the games because they didn't look as good as VII. I watched people play them a bit, enough to confirm my opinion.

Something tells me Azure might like Touko.

Touko > Aoko

I need to re-air Kara no Kyoukai for the people who missed my initial showing of it.
Isn't she considered evil though? Though I don't mind, after seeing the series I fell in love with her.

I wouldn't consider either of the Aozakis evil. Just different shades of grey.
Idk, they seem to paint the older sis in a more evil light since she's pissed she didn't inherit her family heir or whatever. Not exactly clear on it. I'm only knowledgeable in the Fate field really.

Eh, both of them have done shit to each other. Aoko screwed Touko out of her grandfathers tutelage and the title of Blue in the Clock Tower Academy. And Touko hates her for it and swore revenge.

For magi the shit about inheriting her grandfathers knowledge is especially important, since inheriting the family crest is pretty much everything to them.

Rider is best girl.

In zero that is.
I rewatched Zero a couple of days ago.

Rider just makes me tear up at the end.

Fun fact. Ufotable planned it out so that episode would air on the anniversary of his death.

They also planned it out so the episode where Kiritsugu killed Natalia aired on mothers day.

For the record, I dislike adult Rin. I like her pony tails far better, and she looked fat in the VN at the end.

Nah m8.

Adult Rin is fine. Also I'm pretty sure that's the only thing that exists of adult Rin though. She wouldn't have had any sprites since you're playing from her perspective at the end of the VN. Sakura and Shirou have sprites though and they look pretty funky.
No you see her once in the Heaven's Feel route at the very end, along with smexy Rider in her glasses.

I completely forgot about that CG.

Why not rinrinn?
Someone really needs to show you the eroge sections of the VN.

Excuse me, I am a lady. I am not lewd in such ways

you're goddamn right they do

>__> Do I have to? I mean sure the art is good for the time, but the adult sections were forced in by the publisher and were written horribly as a way to give them the middle finger.

Spoiler
Also that's an edit.
Whoever edited it needs to edit more.

She looks like Shiki Ryougi, and I just read that Nasu said that it is forbidden to say that lol

Plz no, Ayako is my favorite.

She's like a Shiki Ryougi that grew up in a normal household and isn't a psychopath.
Pfft, yeah I guess. But it's like Nasu's not even trying anymore.

Spoiler

I think Ayako and Shiki were always supposed to be similar since Ayako apparently has a one sided love affair and subsequently gets turned down by Kokutou in college.

I blame Takeuchi for the loli Azaka and loli Rin design similarities.

Well hopefully opposition to the FCC will be overruled.

It's just a matter of time before companies like Google and Sonic.net put the old cable companies out of business by offering gigabit connections at roughly the same rate that AT&T and Comcast are offering their shitty megabit connections.
