So how do you guys feel about people DDOSing a reviewer who gave it a 7/10?

how do you think we feel about it

jesus what a loaded question

it's not even loaded, but ok.

sure it is.

honestly im drawing blanks on what kind of response you expected from that question.

maybe if you had phrased it in a way that didn't look like you were trying to start shit...

"this is a thing that happened, how do you feel about it" is not a loaded question. you need to stop being so sensitive about this. Some people feel that DDOSing is an acceptable answer to stopping what they view as click bait reviews meant to bring in ad revenue and stick out on review aggregate sites like metacritic.

iirc a few people here are fans of vigilante justice so it's possible that they might agree with responses like this. it's possible to have a conversation with opposing viewpoints without trying to "start shit".

Maybe someone here thinks that. Maybe they don't. Doesn't hurt to open up some new discussion.
Do you have a link to the review?

http://www.thejimquisition.com/the-legend-of-zelda-breath-of-the-wild-review/

it might take a while to load or fail a few times. I think his site is still under that DDOS attack.

What kind of question is that?
A question asking people how they feel about people DDOSing a reviewer who gave this game a 7/10.
AKA a dumb one you already know the answer to

do you expect people here to be like "YEAH HE DESERVED IT FUCK HIM"

Maybe someone here thinks that. Maybe they don't. Doesn't hurt to open up some new discussion.

it's a shame the writing and art departments dropped the ball on this one because the gameplay team is pretty talented

Was it Scherff that dropped the ball or did his story get changed when he left?

no idea

Can anyone articulate what sets this game apart from other open world games? The gameplay demos I've seen so far look good, but not particularly unique. Hunter-gather-craft-repeat type stuff.

the setting and progressive plot

Can you elaborate?

i don't think i've seen a setting quite like horizons before, as in some kind of proto-civilization living in the post apocalyptic ruins of their former high tech civilization. it's actually what had me initially interested in it.

Spoiler
as for the story it's about how women and minorities fix the world that the evil white man destroyed. there are also jabs at conservatives in the audio and text logs, one that particularly stands out is one where they have Nigel not-farage pretty much say that refugees should drown themselves

The quests are pretty good, if not basic

their worth comes from the character interactions imo

The Flood / Re: YRYL - Ghost in the Shell PSA
« on: March 10, 2017, 12:03:15 PM »
the major could be a black woman with a horse cock and it still wouldn't contradict canon or distract from the main idea behind the story

what's truly hilarious about this PSA though is that actual Japanese people are fine with the casting and actually like scarlett johansson as the major because they think she looks like her

Move cursor to bottom, use right stick to recenter

So when is international men's day.
every day

men dominate every aspect of society so much that even a single day for women can't stand without constant bitching
Actually it's November 19

that's also world toilet day

so far this has been the most iconic part of the OST for me. i'll be surprised if it doesn't win awards for it's OST this year.

The Flood / Re: Anyone from LA, can you explain how buses work here?
« on: March 09, 2017, 11:08:12 AM »
Never used an LA bus sorry. I just drive everywhere.
I know. No takes buses anywhere, nevermind walking.
I wonder how easy it is to see that I am a tourist.
"You see that guy? Yeah, he walks everywhere! Fucking foreigner."

Two years ago, A friend of mine and I did the most American thing and drove to a Cheesecake Factory that was right across the road from where we were staying. Paid for parking and then the restaurant told us that they are full.
We weren't even mad.

Eh, if I lived in a city like SF I'd probably end up taking a bus, the metro, or just walking. Trying to find parking there is a nightmare and it would be better to just not even deal with that.
