But you just said that there were when you said that sex is what the majority is demanding. Therefore a game all about sex should be a top seller. I mean, it's cutting out most (if not all) of the bullshit and giving you those titties. It couldn't possible be that *gasp* sex is not a primary motivating factor in what most every day items are purchased and what every day media is consumed could it? Does it play a part in marketing? Of course, mostly through suggestive images or phrases that tend to entice people into getting whatever it may be and you'll never get rid of this because sexuality is simply part of being human. However it's being found that humor (not sex) is one of the most effective form of marketing.

I can't think of a single person who hadn't heard of those games when I was in middle school. And it sold like shit before the underage thing came to light and considering you could still both the new and used copies that were already in circulation it didn't really do anything to negatively impact the sales as it wasn't selling any copies anyway.
