As long as they abandon the Gears 3 and Judgement multiplater formula they'll have me back for Gears 4.

The one thing Gears 3 did right though was horde.

dis thread dough
Considering this thread is a comment by Lemon that LC split from the Tourney results thread, it never really had a point to it anyway.

It was that or have the tourney thread derailed. I'm just pleased that something constructive and vidya related came out of this.

We should do some sort of Total War party some time.
I can only run Rome 1 sadly. I'm working this summer for a better PC.

Well I guess Nick and I can party until you get yourself a proper PC then.

College in the US is a little too different for me to talk about.
why do you even bother with your 10,000 page papers? you're gonna be a janitor anyway
>tfw I'm almost guaranteed a great job with a high salary due to two Master's degrees at one of the top 15 law schools in the world

>tfw still a janitor 4 life

Get scrubbin.
Why can't Yuta do it? He's the new mod.

I've always wondered what a boner feels like
imagine a throbbing, rock hard member sticking out of your pelvis, and it feels sexually good when it rubs up against stuff/you touch it

Spoiler
That sounds great. I want a thingy now

Only sometimes it has a mind of its own and wants you to do things you don't really want to do at the moment.
luckily, its easy to get rid of that problem, thanks to the magic of pornography

But do you really want to be a slave to your dick and porn?

Ninja Gaiden 2 final boss on the hardest difficulty.

I bought Rome 2 thinking that everything would have been fixed a year after release when it was like $15. It's the only Total War game that I just haven't been able to get into.

It's good to hear that Atilla fixes everything Rome 2 fucked up,

Shogun 2 and it's expansions remain my all time favorite Total War games. How does Atilla stack up to them?

I don't like them, I think they're manipulative people who take an honest good intent and morph it into something more.
I'd love it if you'd explain what the hell you're going on about.

My guess is she's talking about how it essentially shills for for arms manufacturers at times. Which instead of acting as a voice for people who enjoy their 2A rights is acting as another corporate lobbying firm.

It's like you two didn't even read the thread.

Also I'd like to point out that gun ownership under Stalin and Castro was still a thing. Was it regulated and restricted in various manners? Yes, but they didn't take everyone's guns away and before you bring up the Stalin confiscations that was only in cities, in the country hunting rifles were still common place.

Also gun laws were loosened under Hitler's Germany.

That picture is Alex Jones tier trash and it only makes you look silly by using it.
LC fighting the good fight.
You are both socialists who want to confiscate guns from people just like Hitler.

If it doesn't already exist there should also be a practice of banning people from serious only.

It's been talked about actually. It would probably work on a nameplate system. I'm not sure how those talks went down.

There's not a single instance of "you fucking cunt" in the OP and you expect us to believe Verbatim wrote this?

When I first came here I wanted respect. But no one really gets any respect around here

People are respected around here, but respect is earned not given.

That's not how I see it. Admiration is earned, not given. Respect should be given until there is a reason not to.

It's basically the same thing.

noun
1.
a feeling of deep admiration for someone or something elicited by their abilities, qualities, or achievements.
"the director had a lot of respect for Douglas as an actor"
synonyms:   esteem, regard, high opinion, admiration, reverence, deference, honor
"the respect due to a great artist"
antonyms:   contempt
the state of being admired or respected.
"his first chance in over fifteen years to regain respect in the business"
due regard for the feelings, wishes, rights, or traditions of others.
plural noun: respects
"respect for human rights"
synonyms:   due regard, politeness, courtesy, civility, deference
"he spoke to her with respect"
a person's polite greetings.
plural noun: respects
"give my respects to your parents"
2.
a particular aspect, point, or detail.
"the government's record in this respect is a mixed one"
synonyms:   aspect, regard, facet, feature, way, sense, particular, point, detail
"the report was accurate in every respect"
verb
verb: respect; 3rd person present: respects; past tense: respected; past participle: respected; gerund or present participle: respecting
1.
admire (someone or something) deeply, as a result of their abilities, qualities, or achievements.
"she was respected by everyone she worked with"
synonyms:   esteem, admire, think highly of, have a high opinion of, hold in high regard, hold in (high) esteem, look up to, revere, reverence, honor
"she is highly respected in the book industry"

I was using respect like one would use the phrase "common courtesy". You should courteous until given a reason not to.

I admire lots of people here, and I hope there are a few who feel the same way about me. But we have earned that from each other.

Then you probably should have said that instead of a word that conveys a completely different message.

They definitely don't.

Haven't you ever been in any work orientation or school function where some of the basic rules are "respect your co-workers/fellow students"? That is what I mean. It's synonymous with "courtesy".

I think it's a bit of a stretch to say they have completely different meanings.

But I mean, if you wanna argue semantics I can just stop replying. It doesn't bother me in the slightest.

It's an informal synonym that makes sense within that context. Within the sentence you used it would not convey that meaning.

Context is everything, be aware of this.

Also what Bryne said, it's typically "treat them with respect" here in the US. Maybe Canadians can't into proper grammar.
