Gilgamesh > Thor
Gilgamesh is a Nazi.

Now this is Gilgamesh, the Forgotten One:

He'd still bend Thor to his knees.
Get your gook shit outta here!

America > Gookland

I guess it's a good thing that Mesopotamia is neither.
I didn't know that Mesopotamian Gods looked like 10 year olds.

You hang out with some weird lookin 10 year old boys if they look like that. You injecting growth hormones into them or something?

Serious / Re: "We need more guns in the US!!"
« on: March 26, 2015, 03:21:55 PM »
You do realize the 2nd amendment says "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Meaning they didn't intend for literally all citizens to just walk around with guns. It just somehow got twisted into that. At least that's how some interpret it. The part where it says " the right of the people to keep and bear Arms" is what causes the confusion.

The founding fathers just worded it weird.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Amendment_to_the_United_States_Constitution#Meaning_of_.22the_right_of_the_People.22

Take note that that didn't come about until the 20th century. We're currently operating under a liberal interpretation of the Second Amendment. Under a conservative one we'd be only be able to own fire arms as part of an actual militia. IIRC the argument made during that case was that everyone in the US was a militia or something along those lines. It's been a while since I've done anything with that case.

Spoiler
I'm not coming out in favor or against gun control/restrictions/whatever with this. I'm just pointing out that Luci isn't necessarily wrong.

Gaming / Re: Pokemon OR/AS (and X and Y, probably) genning service
« on: March 26, 2015, 11:57:09 AM »
So what is this fast and easy way to gen these Pokemon? You know, for people who might want to do it themselves instead of waiting on someone else to do it for them.
I use an app called PKHeX to make the Pokemon, and I use a 3DS exploit that allows me to import the Pokemon file into my game by making the file into a QR code and scanning it with the 3DS camera. Unfortunately, recent 3DS system updates have patched this exploit, so this won't work for you if you've recently updated your 3DS. I haven't downloaded this update yet, which is why I can gen in this way.

I don't know of any other way to get the files into your game, but here's a good website for learning about this kind of stuff: http://www.pokedit.com/

How recent was the update? I haven't turned my 3ds on since November I think.

The Nylund books are trash, the Travis books are worse than Trash.

The Flood is also Trash, skip it if you've played Halo: CE.

The Greg Bear and Staten books are decent.

I am for some reason disappointed that Pool Nation FX isn't a swimming pool simulator.

LET'S TEST THE VIABILITY OF HALO ON THE PC BY RELEASING IT IN A SHITTY FOREIGN MARKET INSTEAD OF A DOMESTIC ONE WHERE WE'RE GUARANTEED TO HAVE A SOLID PLAYER BASE.

Game was all out of copies when I went to ask, but the guy said come back in about 2 hours and we might have some in the new shipment.

I hung around town for 2 hours, came back and there was still none.

Why

Just go with a digital copy. It's never out of stock.

I honestly can't think of very many people who have liked Hardline more than BF4. The game being overpriced DLC seems to be the common opinion here.

I can't help but think that this would have been better recieved had they done something like the Battlefield Vietnam expansion for Bad Company 2.
