Giving a serious answer to a question that may be legitimate doesn't hurt though. 7265

Realistically who would win and why?
To make this more interesting both Tru and the bear are trained in brazilian jiu-jitsu and are armed with long swords. 7266

While I don't agree or approve of this thread it isn't actually against the rules.
Also this thread would have died if you hadn't bumped it 4 times Deci. 7268

The Flood / Re: FMA is the only anime I ever watched« on: March 29, 2015, 01:27:23 AM »
Spoiler It's serialized never ending shonen, it never seems that bad at first. Hell even Naruto had a pretty strong story up until the end of the Wave Country arc. Make a thread asking the weebs for recommendations and list the kinds of things you like. They'll probably spit out a bunch of shit, some of them might to little descriptions so you know what you're getting into. 7276

Serious / Re: Something stupid about voting« on: March 29, 2015, 01:02:05 AM »Now it makes even more sense why Obama and the Democratic party wants this. So they can be elected to the parliament in Australia? In regards to the OP, voter fraud is something that's basically non existent anyway. In the US for example there have been 633 instances of voter fraud in the last 15 years. 633 fraudulent votes out of hundreds of millions cast across all of the elections that have taken place over the 15 years. To put this into perspective let's do some math. For simplicities sake we'll say that there are only 300 million Americans. Also so I don't have to do that much math we'll say that only half of them are of voting age (in reality its something around 80%). That leaves us with 150 million voting Americans. To further simplify this we'll also say that people are only voting in presidential elections and ignoring off year congress ones, state, local, et cetera. That's 600,000,000 votes cast over the last 15 years. 633 out of 600,000,000. That equates to 0.000001% and this is just out of an incredibly simplified run down. The real percentage of voter fraud is much MUCH lower. 7278
Gaming / Re: I really hope bloodborne gets a PC port« on: March 28, 2015, 10:36:34 PM »like what? Don't bother listing SOE games because they ditched them. And maybe you underestimate the cult following From games have. There was dozens of threads just on reddit about people buying ps4's just for this gameSony IS competing with the PC market... People who play primarily on PC are buying ps4s just for Bloodborne. I'm not saying that's smart but Sony would rather be selling ps4s and Bloodborne that just Bloodborne to pc owners, even if way more people would do the latterSony Japan helped produce it, so that seems like it might be a big issue putting it on PC. So their (former) largest producer of PC games no longer counts because they were sold off to another company in a last ditch effort to slow their eventual bleedout? That's like saying "When was the last time America was on the winning side in a world war? WW1 and 2 don't count because they're over." Other than SOE titles a lot of square and sega titles also went to PC. Most recent was Valkyria Chronicles which came out a few months ago. Once again I'm not saying it will happen, just that there's nothing really preventing it from happening. 7279

Ummm No they aren't. They release lots of games and software on the PC platform some of which are playstation exclusives. You also grossly overestimate the amount of PC games buying PS4s for a single game. 7280

Gaming / Re: I really hope bloodborne gets a PC port« on: March 28, 2015, 09:31:16 PM »Sony Japan helped produce it, so that seems like it might be a big issue putting it on PC. Considering that Japanese devs are starting to realize the potential of the PC market that isn't exactly a limiting factor anymore. Spoiler I know that someone is going to jump on me for saying that so I'm going to repeat myself here. I'm not saying that it will happen, just that there's nothing actually stopping it from happening since Sony isn't competing with the PC market. 7282

The Flood / Re: why did challywally get banned?« on: March 28, 2015, 03:22:24 PM »It's indicative of a problem that both Challenger and Verbatim ended up being banned. That would require mods to be omnipresent. I wasn't on when this went down, so I don't know the specifics of what happened. However I've come into threads where both parties have already crossed the line and at that point it doesn't even matter who started what since the rules were violated on both sides. 7284

The Flood / Re: Why do Bnet kids RP bar scenes?« on: March 28, 2015, 02:20:53 PM »
Back on b.old there was a sporadic Flood bar that occasionally popped up where the OP would link rainy mood and some sort of jazz. They were actually kind of fun because the mods would turn a blind eye to any political or religious discussion within since it was an unspoken rule that you had to be civil.
These days it's just a bunch of people making poor imitations for e-fame. 7286

So, I entered your last thread and made my "lolwut" comment thinking that this kind of thing would never actually pass.
Now I'm legitimately confused as to how this sort of thing actually passed. |
