To vote, you don't need to show ID? What the fuck? No form at all? No photo ID to confirm you are who you say you are? This is my first time voting, and this became a shock to me.....with the accessibility of social media and the ease of collecting information on the net, one party could easily collect names and get agents to go from town to town to post votes for others without their knowledge, now this would get caught up eventually, but some people just forget to vote or just don't at all.

In the US for example there have been 633 instances of voter fraud in the last 15 years. 633 fraudulent votes out of hundreds of millions cast across all of the elections that have taken place over the 15 years. To put this into perspective let's do some math. For simplicities sake we'll say that there are only 300 million Americans. Also so I don't have to do that much math we'll say that only half of them are of voting age (in reality its something around 80%). That leaves us with 150 million voting Americans. To further simplify this we'll also say that people are only voting in presidential elections and ignoring off year congress ones, state, local, et cetera. That's 600,000,000 votes cast over the last 15 years. 633 out of 600,000,000. That equates to 0.000001% and this is just out of an incredibly simplified run down. The real percentage of voter fraud is much MUCH lower.

So their (former) largest producer of PC games no longer counts because they were sold off to another company in a last ditch effort to slow their eventual bleedout? That's like saying "When was the last time America was on the winning side in a world war? WW1 and 2 don't count because they're over." Other than SOE titles a lot of square and sega titles also went to PC. Most recent was Valkyria Chronicles which came out a few months ago. Once again I'm not saying it will happen, just that there's nothing really preventing it from happening.

It's indicative of a problem that both Challenger and Verbatim ended up being banned.
It ought to be the job of the moderators to head this shit off at the pass, and ban the instigator/worst offender before it becomes an issue. If you're banning two people involved in the same conversation, you didn't act quick enough.
That would require mods to be omnipresent. I wasn't on when this went down, so I don't know the specifics of what happened. However I've come into threads where both parties have already crossed the line and at that point it doesn't even matter who started what since the rules were violated on both sides.
