LC he made a point with the rec prices. Sure it aint built on fairy shit. But to unlock everything in MP is over a grand......wha?
And he was right about Chiefs conflict with Locke.. ..it was meant to be this big thing and they gave each other love taps.
Also you need to remember that hes called Angry Joe, not Friendly Joe. He gave his opinion and hell if he scares of his fans thats his problem. He creates entertainment. If you dont like it leave. He will notice if he has no fans left.
So you can settle ya jimmies now son.
It's a similar situation with every other game on the market that has this same kind of system that nobody is complaining about. Alternatively you could not pay a dime and still unlock everything in a reasonable amount of time when compared to other games that use a similar system. If you hate the gacha system that's absolutely fine, however don't start saying the one used in Halo 5 is absurd when it's actually on the better end of the spectrum when it comes to this kind of thing. You can be an Angry Joe without being Retarded Joe. If he's going to focus on the entertainment and skimp on the "review" then maybe he should stop labeling his "reviews" as "reviews" and treating his ill informed opinions like they're anything but.

I literally just watched that vid before even looking at this thread....and i must say
he's pretty spot on. Hardcore fans really need to stop sucking 343's cock so there can be improvement in the franchise.
His definition of a hardcore fan is anyone that disagrees with him or refutes his claims.
but for the most part he's right(his review was pretty fair bruh). 343 hates criticism(even good criticism) and if loyal halo fans dont speak up we're gonna get more products without improvement.(hence the shitty campaign, lack of split screen, etc)
The only two things he was right on were the shitty allied AI and the repetitive boss battles. Both of which had been noted over a week ago so he didn't actually add anything to the discussion. The campaign was fine outside of those two issues. Joe played on an easy difficulty and them complained that it was too easy. When people told him to go play on heroic or legendary off he wanted a campaign with a bit of length and where everything didn't die in less than 20 shots with an AR and he lashed out at them screaming that they were stupid cock gargling fanboys despite the fact that Halo campaigns have always taken about 4 hours to complete on normal. He didn't even touch the multiplayer in his review (no mentioning the fact that it exists is not covering it) and instead opted to bitch about req packs using all while using his calculations that were flat out wrong as evidence and spinning conspiracy theories about how MS and 343i were going to do evil things in the future with them. The hilarious part about this is that he commends 343i for having all future content for the pm be free while simultaneously slamming them for having a micro transaction option in the game. It's like he thinks games are made on fairy dust and unicorn farts or something. The money to support the game in that kind of fashion has to come from somewhere. Every time someone on his stream would try and point this ( or anything else he was wrong about) out to him he'd fly in a rage calling them cock gargling fanboys. Yeah, that's a real polite and professional way to hold a conversation with people. The split screen bit was staged as fuck. 343i has been upfront and open about this from day 1. Angry Joe knew about it because he had been reading 343s updates and commenting on the things he liked prior to release. He knows exactly why that decision was made, but instead of using the opportunity to explain why the "1080 60 fps" meme needs to die for consoles he instead opted to go for the easy click bait and sperg like a retard. Yeah, if people don't voice their discontent with things nothing will change. However said discontent needs to be voiced in a coherent manner and complaints need to be done about problems that actually exist. "We tell nothing but the truth here, that's all we do" - Raging Rodreguize Sure man, sure you do. Spoiler if you think I'm some sort of hard core 343 fanboy hop into the halo thread and ask bacon and lemon if I'm one. See what they say.

I'm trying to imagine what modern colonialism involving the major European powers would look like...and honestly, it's looking good for modern Africa. More doctors and hospitals, actual jobs, better infrastructure, human rights and civil liberties...
It would require a complete redraw of the African map
What do you think the map of Africa would look like if it wasn't colonized?

Apparently this is an educated guess.
Why is it upside down?
Why do maps made in NA, Europe, and Asia place their respective continents in the center?
Well all the maps I see from NA are New World is on the left (western hemisphere), and Old World on the right. The middle is just the Atlantic.
Look up. A lot of maps made in the US use to place it in the center. Eurasia was split in two for these.
Yeah I've seen em, but never once in school or anything educational did I see it being used. Plus it's just ugly.
I saw them being used all the time in elementary and middle school back when I was a kid. Hence me saying "they use to be pretty common".

These kinds of maps use to be fairly common.
Spoiler Depending on the hemisphere you live in you might also get a map like this Thats a navigational chart
It's supposed to divide the oceans in the least amount possible which is why it goes through Asia while leaving the Atlantic and Pacific intact.
Umm no, there are many maps that are made with the South at the top, however most are made for the purpose of challenging convention. Orientation of the continents wouldn't matter for a navigational chart. You'd still have the same amount of water regardless of whether north or south was on the top or bottom.

None of those are commonly used projections, though. For educational or illustrative purposes it makes sense to put your home in the center, but America isn't in the center of any real world map or chart. Pretty much any time a map is used it's broken up into sectionals, anyway.
That doesn't change the fact that those maps use to be fairly common.

It's a DMR with a one hit kill bayonet and infinite use.
...And this is in the multiplayer?
Warzone only, by infinite use I mean it doesn't take req to spawn once you reach level 8 and in warzone level 8 is like really late game so if you get to use it it'll be for maybe 5 minutes at most most of the time.

I want that shotgun certification
and railgun
and a DMR thats not 8 req
>DMR costs more than a sniper or a tank
wat
It's a DMR with a one hit kill bayonet and infinite use. The really good versions of load out weapons always cost a lot.

Come on man, at least have the balls to admit it when you get caught. Except I didn't "get caught". I was doing you a favour because I know how much I hate it when people quote me without me being active in the conversation (hell, Psy and Korra are doing it right fucking now.)
You think I wouldn't consider that you might see my "shit talking" in a public and popular thread that you're clearly active in?
Perhaps if I had sent Assassin a PM or something than you would have cause for this behavior.
But nah, you got me.

My favorite part of this thread though is when Prehistoric decided to snip me out of all of the quotes so I wouldn't get a notification of him talking shit. I snip'd you out because I wasn't talking to you and I didn't want you to bitch about our quoting.
But next time I talk shit I'll be sure to send a postcard.

I never said you did, however Reach is another widely played Halo game that had a similar level of character customization that had to be unlocked through play time. Therefore it is an apt comparison when discussing Halo 5s cosmetic content and how much time must be sunk into the game to complete the cosmetic armory. Okay sure, it's an apt comparison, but I'm not sure what the comparison achieves intellectually. Both are horrendously designed systems that require virtually no skill. A chimpanzee playing Reach could get to Inheritor provided he had enough time, and likewise, a rich chimpanzee could unlock all of Halo 5's cosmetics.
What exactly is your point here? That bullshit designs like this should be acceptable?
The fact remains that in a game with a paid short cut you can complete your much larger cosmetic armory in less than half the time without paying a single dime than another game in the same franchise without the option for a paid short cut. This is not at all predatory. Haha what? "You can get to level X in this bullshit system faster than this other bullshit system provided you have the money to pay for it. This is not at all predatory."
Are you even listening to yourself right now? You are comparing dogshit to cowshit my friend. You still haven't addressed my points on why we should have micro-transactions as consumers. Reach had a shitty system. We know. Again, why does adding micro-transactions to the shit heap aid anything?
This fact alone shows that the games economy was not in any way altered to make the paid option most viable option to receive content. I'm not even sure what this sentence is trying to convey. The pay-to-receive content option was implemented because consumers such as yourself and the Halo community in general became apathetic to the notion for some reason.
You meant he same CD Projekt Red that's selling season passes and charging 25 USD individually for their expansions? Great double standard there m8. My contention doesn't lie with season passes or expansions m9, provided they are supplied with enough content, which TW3 most certainly has. Straw-manning my argument doesn't achieve much.
Whether or not you like the system implemented is irrelevant. We're talking about a supposed "predatory system" that coerces people into paying money to achieve in game rewards. When you take into account that it's actually much easier to achieve more content in a significantly less amount of time in Halo 5 than it is in many other games that utilize the same system and forgo a paid short cut the notion that this paid short cut is predatory and coercing people into paying into it is pretty silly. I was also under the assumption that you knew why a micro transaction short cut was implemented considering it's been well publicized for months now. All of Halo 5s post launch DLC is going to be free as a result of these micro transactions. A significant portion of the money made will be going back into the game, and because of this the majority of Halo players have no problem with it. Halo 5 also has plenty of content already in the game with months worth of free content planned over the course of the games life time. What's your point? The only reason I brought up the season pass in the first place is because you brought up me saying that season passes aren't inherently a bad thing in a battlefront thread and used it as an example as to why I "suck the corporate cock".
